Chapter 134: Chapter 110: Third Level of Mixed Element Skill, Strength Soars, Battle Against the Blood Saber Sect

"Careful, this man is the Vice Sect Leader of the Blood Saber Sect!" He Yuan warned upon seeing the newcomer. However, his face didn’t show much concern.

The man’s cultivation realm was about the same as his own—both were at the Minor Mastery of Internal Organ Cultivation. Although the Vice Sect Leader’s actual combat strength was greater than his, compared to Su Chen, the man was probably a notch weaker. As long as they were careful, escaping wouldn’t be impossible.

"Sir, why make an enemy of our Blood Saber Sect just for the Mixed Element Sect? Whatever benefits He Yuan has given you, our Blood Saber Sect will offer double!" the Vice Sect Leader said mildly.

Hearing this, He Yuan and He Chong’s expressions shifted slightly. They couldn’t help but look at Su Chen.

Su Chen fell into deep thought, seemingly considering the feasibility of the offer. This sight made the father and son’s hearts jump into their throats.

"Give me fifty Qi Blood Pills first, and then I’ll consider your terms," Su Chen said with complete seriousness.

The Vice Sect Leader of the Blood Saber Sect narrowed his eyes and gave a soft chuckle. "Why must you insist on seeking your own death to help the Mixed Element Sect? What a pity!" He paused, his expression suddenly turning ruthless. "Then I’ll just have to kill you along with them."

As soon as he spoke, a group of men clad in crimson robes surged out from the tall grass on both sides. Wielding weapons, they completely surrounded Su Chen and the other two.

"Mr. Lu, leave these lackeys to us!" He Yuan’s eyes flickered as he spoke in a deep voice.

Su Chen didn’t say a word. He merely nodded, his gaze fixed squarely on the Vice Sect Leader.

"Kill!"

The Vice Sect Leader waved his hand and spat out the command. The crimson-robed men swarmed forward, rushing to slaughter He Yuan and his son.

Despite being trapped in the encirclement, Su Chen seemed to be deliberately ignored by the Blood Saber Sect disciples.

The next moment, the previously unmoving Vice Sect Leader exploded into action. He drew his saber and slashed down, his every movement radiating pure killing intent.

"Blood Shadow Triple Saber!" he muttered, a cold sneer curling at the corner of his lips. The chilling edge of his blade surged wildly, instantly sealing off all of Su Chen’s avenues of retreat.

Seeing this, Su Chen unhurriedly extended a hand. His palm was like iron—indestructible. As it collided with the long saber, a loud CLANG rang out, like the clash of heavy metals.

"Hm?"

The Vice Sect Leader was momentarily stunned. He hadn’t expected Su Chen’s bare palm to forcefully withstand his razor-sharp blade. However, his surprise lasted only a fraction of a second before he reacted. He figured it was merely a tough hand, and the rest of the man’s body wouldn’t be as sturdy.

Suddenly, he changed his technique. A dizzying flurry of saber shadows formed a violent storm, instantly enveloping Su Chen and plunging him into a world of flashing blades.

Su Chen’s expression remained as calm as ever. Amidst the endless shadows, he precisely captured the true gleam of the blade. Then, he violently drew his own saber. It was a strike as fast as a thunderbolt, carrying the crushing weight of a mountain as it slashed heavily down!

"What?"

Realizing his core attack had been exposed, the Vice Sect Leader cried out in shock. That single flash of Su Chen’s blade became the most breathtaking sight of the rest of his fleeting life.

His eyes were filled with absolute horror as the saber light swiftly descended. With a sickening CRACK, bone shattered, and a severed head flew into the air.

"Vice Sect Leader!"

The Blood Saber Sect disciples who were besieging He Yuan turned pale with fright upon seeing their leader decapitated, screaming out in horror.

"Kill him! Avenge the Vice Sect Leader!"

A surge of rage swelled in their hearts. Spurred by one disciple’s roar, the crowd of Blood Saber Sect members charged at Su Chen, entirely fearless of death.

"Hyah!"

On the other side, noticing the shift in the situation, He Yuan grabbed He Chong and leaped onto his horse. Leaving behind a single sentence, he yelled, "Mr. Lu, we’ll wait for you up ahead!"

Su Chen narrowed his eyes. Watching the retreating backs of He Yuan and his son, an inexplicable glint flashed in his eyes.

"Kill!"

At that very moment, the Blood Saber Sect disciples attacked. Su Chen retracted his gaze. The steel saber in his hand transformed into a ruthless grim reaper, effortlessly harvesting the lives of the charging disciples with every swing.

In less than a quarter of an hour, he had killed more than half of their numbers.

Witnessing their comrades die so gruesomely under Su Chen’s blade one by one, the remaining disciples finally lost their impulsive rage. A thick veil of terror crept onto their faces.

"Run!" one disciple shouted. The rest immediately scattered in all directions, as if they had just found a leader to follow.

However, their desperate cries of agony soon echoed through the air. Having reached this point, there was no way Su Chen would let them escape. With a few swift and decisive strikes, he thoroughly exterminated the remaining Blood Saber Sect disciples.

Corpses littered the ground, painting the landscape a grisly crimson. Only a single figure remained standing, bending up and down as his waist pouch gradually bulged with loot.

"Hyah!"

On a narrow path through the woods, a horse galloped wildly, weaving through the trees at lightning speed.

He Yuan wore an anxious expression, constantly glancing back over his shoulder. His heart was filled with apprehension, but even more so with the joy of surviving a disaster. He never expected Su Chen’s strength to be this formidable, slaying the Vice Sect Leader of the Blood Saber Sect without breaking a sweat.

He had thought they were doomed this time, but with Su Chen holding off the enemy, securing their escape was merely a matter of time.

"Dad, you’re going the wrong way! That’s the wrong way!" He Chong’s frantic voice rang out in a loud warning.

But He Yuan ignored his son. Spurring the horse with his heels, he actually urged it to go faster.

Seeing this, He Chong’s face drastically changed. This wasn’t the rendezvous route they had agreed upon with Su Chen at all. With this sudden detour, even if He Chong were slow-witted, he would still realize his father’s intentions. Clearly, He Yuan had no intention of fulfilling the rest of their transaction with Su Chen.

"Dad, stop!" He Chong shouted again, reaching out to grab the reins.

"Whoa!" Seeing this, He Yuan instinctively pulled back on the reins. With a loud neigh from the spirited steed, their speed gradually slowed down.

Once they came to a halt, He Yuan’s face darkened. His angry voice cut through the air, "What do you think you’re doing?"
