Ward Nine sent the first Record section through a gas valve.

Its red handle arrived at Ridge beside the route body’s asphalt knee. The local keeper retained pressure warning and excluded authority over every occupied road.

The handle turned when the knee loaded.

Ridge crews released two yard routes before asphalt folded around them.

One section had supplied warning and no destination.

Bay Twelve’s pump pin reached Twelve Wells inside a maintenance truck that never left its garage. It allowed pump movement and excluded patient movement. Esi Koro accepted the pin under one well route and no firing key.

Mercy’s hand-bag valve went to Tera’s school through a current water delivery. It could carry one selected breath and could not select the next. Nemi kept it beside the pump frame for residents caught in route pressure.

The hospital ribs tightened during the delivery. Pressure pinned Nemi’s chest against Pump Nineteen. She selected one assisted breath and pressed the hand valve with both palms.

Mercy’s package supplied that breath. It stopped when Nemi released the valve. Her next breath remained her current body and local support.

Ninth Harbor’s eleven roll-call marks reached the target market on a bent chair leg.

Attendance was its function. Custody remained excluded.

Dena Morr counted current market workers without making their shared roof a person.

South Ward’s hinge entered the lost school-market lane. It could permit passage requested from both ends. Any outside holder remained unable to close it.

Dena held one hinge leaf. Rilo held the other.

The route opened wide enough to pass water bags and no body until both asked.

A child with the crushed boot needed market-side treatment after swelling cut circulation. The child requested Dena’s medic. Both hinge keepers opened one body passage. The child crossed and the hinge closed behind him without moving the other twenty-two children.

Five sections moved by five different means.

No launch time joined them.

East Market’s dead-receiver glass went to the northern future-school aperture. Its function was identifying signal damage. It could not identify a person from a pattern.

Future markers pressed every current school name into the glass.

The route body tried to classify current Tera, future marker Tera, and every resident under the predicted seventh-bell death as one continuing casualty group.

East Market’s keeper saw the glass darken around current names.

"Signal damage accepted," she said. "Person identity from pattern refused. Section withdrawing."

She pulled the dead-receiver glass back through its local release.

The northern aperture closed.

Tera’s current school lost the future marker pressure. The route body’s hospital ribs opened around Pump Nineteen.

The operation also lost every view forty-three years beyond Tera’s clock.

Future Dena disappeared with the map segment.

Current Dena kept no borrowed memory and no promise that the marker date had ended.

The first Record withdrawal weakened the route body and the people fighting it.

No replacement section appeared.

Copper Row’s temporary center vote reached Cairo with two bolt cutters. It permitted structural coordination for six local minutes. Either of two Cairo crews could cut the function loose.

They used it to hold Mara’s box, the left shutter, and one cultivation tile under a shared work frame.

The frame coordinated three objects and no population.

North Rail’s signal wire and ticket-booth pin reached Ridge’s vertical road. Its function could stop a harmful route and could start none.

River Tunnel’s coupling sketch reached Old Market’s missing stair.

Recovery remained owed to twelve missing people. Their bodies did not become a route because recovery was owed.

The six named missing remained Mikel Taro, Yara Rinn, Odo Ire, Kiva Ko, Luka Dour, and Leni Darr. Six identities remained pending.

The coupling showed a current void between Steps Eight and Nine. It offered no person contact.

Canal crew sent Mina Cho’s page and the foundation witness’s charcoal circle to Meva and Beni’s laboratory roof. Current body came first. Salvage remained unanswered.

Meva accepted the page as current evidence and rejected every request to classify workers as recoverable equipment.

The route body’s Cairo hand closed around her laboratory apron. Old salvage stamps appeared across her current arms.

Meva stepped into the charcoal circle. Beni released the apron at its neck tie. Current body stayed inside the circle. The apron crossed into Cairo as period salvage and tore against Mara’s box.

Meva remained in her laboratory shift with a pressure bruise around both shoulders.

The chamber’s stamped scope objection went to Vela Basin’s wall seat. Legal review could name one shield boundary and could not become that boundary.

The Seated Basin accepted review and refused control.

Its wall tried to place all current residents inside one recoil body while the route body’s spine crossed Vela salt. The scope objection named three household blocks under immediate load and excluded every other district.

The salt wall held those blocks. Residents elsewhere kept separate release shares. The legal page limited one working defense without becoming a city wall.

Davi carried the moving section himself.

His package still held a camera battery, Avo Lin’s broken phone cover, and blank caption paper. Full frame was allowed. Audience ownership was not.

Davi chose the island aperture because it crossed grave soil, harbor water, and a cultivation spine. He traveled by current boat under Sali Morn’s local request. No Array route carried his body.

The section’s camera showed three places without joining them into one image.

The route body’s grave spine pushed through the boat after Davi arrived. A copied marker wall hid two deckhands from the island feed. The cultivation view showed their boots. The harbor view showed the current rope they held.

Davi kept all three frames separate on his camera screen and called the mismatched details to Sali.

She cut the current rope from the marker wall. Both deckhands fell onto the harbor deck with route cuts across their boots. The copied graves returned to Night Ground soil and no current person followed.

Davi’s full frame saved two people without turning three locations into one image.

Every saved body retained its own current search line and its own local release.

All twelve functions had positions.

Eleven remained active after East Market withdrew.

The route body shifted against them.

Its Ridge leg pressed into North Rail’s stop. The signal pin halted the knee and could not push it backward.

Copper Row held the Cairo hand for four local minutes. One cutter crew released early when sample pressure reached archive paper. The temporary coordination lost one side and continued under the other until its six-minute expiry.

At the target market, Ninth Harbor counted forty-three workers. The route body added twenty-three missing bridge defenders to the chair marks.

No route impression returned.

The marks carried names from the open search files and no current bodies.

Dena separated attendance from location. Tali kept every bridge file open and removed the names from the market count.

The chair leg returned to forty-three current workers.

The operation could lose one future view, one coordination crew, or one false attendance group without choosing a new center.

It could also lose enough pieces to fail.

Kestrel asked each local team what function remained after withdrawal. Soma kept local event order. Rina verified current body claims. Tali kept local expected people at risk without summing clock bands.

Caleb received no package.

Elara received no command view.

Their absence from the twelve functions was deliberate.

At the origin field, eleven Record lines outlined gaps between current residents and cultivation machinery.

The route body’s limbs bent around those gaps.

A private door opened inside every local aperture.

The Woman’s injured holder mark appeared across all thirty-one frames.

Her counsel offered one body-held shelter for the entire operation.

If the sites accepted, every opening could move through one current destination in thirteen seconds.
