After loading the diesel, Joo Joowon restarted the wheel loader and continued driving. There were not many zombies wandering along the roadside, and they did not foolishly charge straight toward the wheel loader without trying to avoid it, which left her somewhat disappointed.

Zombies simply had no resistance when faced with living creatures. They were not particularly interested in cold, lifeless machines. Although they would approach because of the noise, they would not foolishly allow themselves to be crushed by the wheel loader. Instead, they would instinctively dodge, and only those that failed to get out of the way in time would be crushed to death.

Unfortunately, the experience these crushed zombies gave Joo Joowon was pitifully small.

As long as a zombie had reached Level 2, it would have developed at least some instinct to dodge. At most, they would stubbornly follow closely behind the wheel loader.

Joo Joowon could not be bothered to shake them off. It was even better if they followed him. Once she reached his destination, he could kill all of them at once.

Even now, Joo Joowon did not remain idle. While driving, he extended spider silk through the windows and dealt with the nearby zombies one after another, preventing their numbers from continuing to increase and making the situation difficult to handle later.

With the wheel loader, the distance that would not have been particularly far on foot became even shorter. He encountered no unexpected incidents along the way and safely arrived beneath the residential complex.

Joo Joowon had already prepared himself to encounter an elite monster or even a boss. He had not expected the entire journey to remain completely peaceful, which surprised him somewhat.

However, after thinking about it carefully, he felt that this outcome was actually quite normal.

Judging from the bosses he had encountered so far, although they possessed the ability to move around freely, for some reason, whether because of the restrictions imposed by the game rules or something else, they did not actually leave their own territories easily.

Most of the time, they only took action after players came knocking on their doors. Therefore, even if they heard the noise of a wheel loader coming from outside, whether they would actually show themselves was still uncertain.

There was also the question of cost effectiveness involved.

The higher a zombie’s level, the higher its intelligence would be. Naturally, they would be better at weighing the benefits and risks than ordinary monsters.

Compared to chasing after a player who was difficult to deal with, would it not be better to deal with the players hiding inside their homes and pretending to be harmless?

Without opening the door, Joo Joowon simply opened the window and jumped out through it. He then casually closed the window behind him before dealing with all the zombies that had followed her over in one go.

Because Joo Joowon had been using spider silk so frequently, even though he had been doing his best to simplify his attacks and conserve his energy, his reserves had still dropped slightly.

This amount of consumption was not enough to affect his subsequent actions, so Joo Joowon did not pay much attention to it.

After collecting the drops, he went upstairs to pack up his belongings. He had already decided which direction he would head in while rushing back.

Once Joo Joowon made up his mind, he would not continue dragging things out. Besides, the huge commotion caused by driving a wheel loader all the way back would definitely have caught the attention of quite a few people. There would always be some who gathered around boldly enough to take a look. Joo Joowon felt that he was somewhat socially anxious, so unless it was necessary, he did not want to interact with other people.

After going upstairs, the moment Joo Joowon opened the door, Byeol immediately rushed over. He let out a sweet coquettish cry and rubbed his body against Joo Joowon’s legs.

Hwi who was beside him immediately followed his example. He directly flopped onto the floor and exposed his belly.

Joo Joowon suspiciously glanced at the two of them.

It was not strange for Byeol to come and welcome him, but this attitude was clearly unusual and it was a little too flattering.

At a glance, it was obvious that they had done something wrong and were feeling guilty about it.

Normally, although Byeol would also come to greet him, most of the time he would simply sit nearby and silently watch him. Sometimes, he would come closer and sniff Joo Joowon, checking whether he had picked up the scent of some other little demon outside.

Because of this, Joo Joowon did not immediately pick up Byeol and play with him. Instead, he quickly swept his eyes across the living room.

He soon found the evidence of their crime.

The queen ant Gaemi was lying on the floor with all six legs pointing toward the ceiling. She looked completely hopeless as though she had lost all desire for life and had no worldly wants left.

Joo Joowon hurriedly walked over and picked up the queen ant to examine her. This was the future creator of his ant army. He absolutely could not let anything happen to her.

The sudden sensation of being lifted into the air startled Gaemi. She thought those two strange looking furball were planning to kick her around like a ball again. But when she saw that it was Joo Joowon, her antennae immediately perked up. She wrapped herself around Joo Joowon’s finger and began wailing miserably through mental power.

Although the queen ants would normally fight each other to the death whenever they were roommates, except during the early stages of their "business venture," were they not all living under another queen ant now? Did they really have to team up and bully her too?

She had already said that she was willing to be their little one, yet they still refused to let her go!
