The crimson-violet crystal hummed with ancient warmth as Leo pressed it against the All-Spark core in his chest.

The crystal dissolved into a vortex of incandescent crimson particles, sinking into his central All-Spark reactor.

A cascading surge of golden and violet light illuminated the subterranean chamber as the system announced his evolution.

The influx of refined cosmic ether felt like liquid stars surging through every vein, tendon, and bone in his body.

Reaching Level 28 pushed his physical strength and ether density past the planetary limits of ordinary meta operatives.

His muscles tightened with biological reinforcement, and his sensory perception expanded until he could hear dust motes settling across the floor.

The All-Spark core spun with effortless harmony, its golden gears interlocked with the biological evolution matrix of the third shard.

His evolved blade transformed dynamically in his grip, its spatial edge deepening into a pitch-black void rimmed with swirling violet gravity rings.

The spatial edge hummed with quiet power, subtly bending the ambient light around its razor surface.

The dark edge pulled at the surrounding air, creating microscopic gravitational ripples that made loose pebbles slide across the decking toward the tip.

"Facility self-destruct sequence: forty seconds remaining until total structural collapse," the automated voice echoed through the sirens.

Subterranean support pillars cracked under structural pressure, sending ceiling beams crashing across the catwalks.

The main blast doors crumpled under falling debris, sealing the ground-level exit corridors in twisted wreckage.

The smell of boiling hydraulic fluid and electrical ozone filled the air as secondary plasma conduits ruptured along the walls.

Leo did not flinch.

He raised The Null Razor with both hands, channeling his expanded ether pool into the newly unlocked singularity core.

The violet gravity rings around the blade ignited in a spinning vortex of dark cosmic force.

"Black Singularity," Leo muttered softly into the howling sirens.

He drove the tip of his blade upward toward the cracked ceiling slabs.

A swirling sphere of pitch-black gravity materialized at the blade’s apex, distorting ambient light, air, and physical mass in a spatial vacuum.

Falling beams, shattered stone blocks, and debris were pulled upward into the miniature black hole, compressed into a dense ball of crushed matter.

The localized gravitational vortex bored a clean, twelve-foot vertical shaft through Sub-Levels 3, 2, and 1, opening a direct path to the stormy sky above.

The crushing mass of four subterranean floors was pulverized into dust, leaving behind a smooth borehole.

"Leo! The lower landing pad is clearing!" Sierra’s voice screamed through his earpiece.

"Get out of there right now before the primary sub-core detonates!"

Leo activated his Phantom Greaves combined with Supersonic Gale-Step, launching his body straight up the vertical shaft like a dark missile.

He burst through the roof of the sub-tower into the midnight air just as the entire subterranean facility detonated below him.

A cataclysmic explosion shook the deep structural foundations of the Apex Medical Tower, collapsing the lower four sub-levels into a roaring crater of blue plasma fire.

The shockwave blasted upward through the vertical shaft, blowing a column of fire and black smoke hundreds of feet into the night sky.

The facade of the lower thirty floors blew out into the street, showering the corporate plazas below in crystalline debris.

Mid-air, Tempest swooped through the billowing smoke clouds at supersonic speed, banking its silver wings to catch him.

Leo landed cleanly onto the giant raptor’s shoulders, locking his hands onto its crest as Bekka pulled him close from behind.

"You cut it close, ghost boy!" Bekka shouted over the howling wind, her arms wrapping around his waist with an exhilarating laugh.

"I had forty seconds to spare," Leo answered with a calm smile.

He tapped his earpiece, checking in with Sierra.

"Package secured, Sierra, we are clear of the hot zone."

"Copy that, shadow boy," Sierra’s voice purred with deep satisfaction.

"I uploaded the entire Apex genetics database to public media nodes across all nine districts, by morning, Chairman Gruber will be the most hated man on the continent."

Across District 1, inside the eighty-story executive penthouse of the Apex Headquarters, Chairman Gruber stood before a wall of security holograms.

He watched in horrified disbelief as his multi-billion-dollar subterranean genetics facility collapsed into a burning pit of rubble.

His prized Brood Queen was dead, his research archives were compromised, and Genesis Shard 3 was gone.

"Chairman Gruber," his security director stammered, trembling in terror beside the desk.

"The intruder bypassed all four layers of bio-containment and escaped on an unregistered avian meta beast."

"Our automated anti-air turrets were unable to lock onto the creature’s supersonic flight profile," the director added in a panic.

Gruber’s face turned crimson with unbridled rage, his fists slamming onto the desk with enough force to crack the surface.

"I do not care what it costs!" Gruber roared, his voice shaking the executive suite.

"Contact every mercenary syndicate, every rogue hunter guild, and every dark-net contractor in the hemisphere!"

"Place a five-million-credit bounty on the Ghost!"

"Dead or alive, bring me his head!"

The security director bowed frantically and rushed out of the office to broadcast the emergency hit contract.

Gruber turned slowly back toward the panoramic window, watching the black smoke rise from his ruined genetics facility with murderous eyes.

High above the illuminated central district, Tempest soared through the cloud banks, carrying Leo and Bekka away from the burning spire.

The cool midnight wind whipped through Leo’s dark hair as he looked down at his evolved Rank-C blade, feeling the gravitational pulse humming along the black edge.

Three Genesis Shards were now secured, the Sub-Zero Syndicate was completely destroyed, and Apex Bio-Tech’s primary black-site was left in ruin.

"We have a secure safehouse waiting in the District 7 mountain peaks," Bekka said softly, her breath warm against his neck.

"A private villa where we can regroup, count our winnings, and plan the next strike."

Luna and Sierra were already en route to the mountain sanctuary, bringing supplies and medical provisions for their extended campaign.

Leo nodded, gazing out at the vast horizon where the stars shone clear and bright above the smog layer.

He could feel the third shard integrating deeper into his core, expanding his biological pathways to sixty percent completion.

"Three down," Leo murmured into the midnight sky, his eyes reflecting the distant stars.

"Four shards to go until the heavens open."
