My Celestial Ascension

Chapter 579: Yuan’s Past (Part-2)

“Anna is right, darling. Now that you hae both me and Anna as your mothers, and Lily as your sister, you’re not an orphan anymore. In this life, you’re our beloved son.” Grace pulled him into a tight embrace, showering his face with kisses.

Yuan hugged her back, a gentle and peaceful smile on his face. He was truly happy that both of his mothers had taken the truth about his reincarnation so lightly and continued to love him unconditionally. It felt as though a heavy weight had been lifted from his shoulders, a burden he’d carried ever since he became conscious of this world.

‘I’m so lucky to have Mom Anna and Mom Grace. I never could have dreamed of a life like this before I reincarnated into this world… I’ll do anything to keep them happy forever,’ Yuan thought, his heart warm in Grace’s embrace. Seeing the peaceful smile on his face, Grace couldn’t help but smile back.

Yuan then looked at both Anna and Grace, his expression full of tenderness. “I’m really lucky to have both of you as my mothers. Most people only have one, but I have two. I love you both so much.”

With that, he pulled Anna and Grace into a tight embrace.

A couple of minutes later, Yuan continued, “The world I lived in during my past life was quite different from this one.”

“Different? How so?” Valeria asked, raising an eyebrow, clearly intrigued by the idea of his previous world.

Yuan took a deep breath and, with a smile, said, “Well, for starters, the world I came from was very advanced in technology. We had vehicles that could travel 20 times faster than a carriage or horse, and we called them cars.”

He continued, “We also had vehicles that could fly through the sky. People would board them to travel long distances that would otherwise take days or even months by car. These were called airplanes.”

“There were other types of vehicles, like bikes and various forms of public transportation, but cars and airplanes were the most common.” Yuan recalled the cars, buses, trains, and airplanes that moved freely in his previous world.

When Anna and the others heard about these incredible vehicles, they stared at Yuan with wide eyes, speechless. The idea of such advanced technology was almost incomprehensible to them. They realized just how far behind their world was compared to Yuan’s previous one.

In this world, the concept of flying vehicles or self-moving machines that traveled faster than a horse or magical creature was unimaginable. If such things were to appear, people might think they were the product of witchcraft or demons from the demon continent. This mindset was one reason their world lacked the technology that could drastically improve their lives.

“U-Unbelievable… to think such unique vehicles exist. People here would be astonished if they learned about or saw one,” Mireya mumbled, her voice full of surprise. She couldn’t help but feel intrigued by the idea of these vehicles Yuan described.

“Well, there are many other technologies that could easily improve life here,” Yuan said with a smirk, anticipating their reactions. “One such device is called a smartphone. Not only can we use it to communicate with people in real time, no matter how far apart they are, but it also has many other functions.”

“With a smartphone, we can take pictures, record videos, and watch online content for entertainment. We can listen to music, and it has a variety of other features as well.”

Seeing the dumbfounded looks on their faces, Yuan continued, “So, basically, my previous world was far more advanced technologically than this one. But we didn’t have magic or cultivation—at least, not to my knowledge.”

Yuan paused for a moment, pondering the possibility of Earth having hidden magic or cultivation. “Even if my past world had magic or cultivation, it must’ve been kept secret by powerful people, manipulating everything from the shadows.”

Hearing about his past life, Anna and the others were left in shock, speechless at the idea of such a technologically advanced world existing.

“That’s truly unbelievable… to think such a world exists, so advanced in technology yet lacking in magic or cultivation. I’d love to visit it someday if I could,” Lily mumbled, still dazed by Yuan’s revelations.

Emma raised her eyebrows and asked, “So, the shock absorbers you installed on our carriage—are those from this Earth you spoke of?”

“That’s right,” Yuan replied with a smile.

A few moments later, Grace kissed him on the cheek and asked, “So, how was your life in that world? Did you have a girlfriend?”

Yuan looked at her, his expression softening, before shaking his head with a bittersweet smile. “No, I didn’t have a girlfriend, nor was I married. Actually, I died very young, from a rare disease. I was the same age as I am now and still a college student when I passed away.”

He paused before continuing, his voice tinged with nostalgia. “However, I did have a childhood sweetheart back at the orphanage where I grew up. Her name was Luxuria—but I called her Lulu. She was the sweetest girl, with eyes as bright as the moon.”

As Yuan recalled his memories of Lulu, a dazed smile appeared on his face, as if he were lost in a daydream. “When we were in the orphanage, we spent all our time together, even slept in the same bed. She never left my side—until the day she was adopted and taken away.”

His voice grew sad as he reached the end of the story. “I was powerless to stop them from taking her. I was too incompetent to find her again, and I even forgot about the promise we made before she left.”

A distant smile crossed Yuan’s face as he remembered that promise, a promise he had failed to keep.

“I see… so that’s why you want to return to your previous world and meet your childhood sweetheart, Lulu. After all, she is your first love, and first love is always special,” Anna said as she wrapped her arms around Yuan’s chest and hugged him tightly.

“Was she beautiful?” Lily asked with a smile, raising an eyebrow.

“Indeed. She was very beautiful and charming. Also, a bit annoying, considering she always forced me to do her work as well,” Yuan responded with a dazed smile, reminiscing about the past.

“No wonder you’re smiling while talking about her. You clearly care about her a lot. That’s why you’re trying to find a way back to your previous world,” Emma said with a smile. She was happy that Yuan wasn’t hiding anything and was being honest with them.

“I hope you can reunite with her one day. So don’t lose hope. In the world of cultivation, everything is possible. Although it will take a lot of time and effort to find a way to that world, it’s not impossible,” Fang Xiaoyan said with a positive smile, like a supportive wife.

“Xiaoyan is right,” Yuan nodded with a wide grin. “One day, I’ll definitely find a way back to Earth. After that, I’ll search the entire Earth for Lulu and apologize for not keeping my promise.”

‘Just wait, Lulu. I’ll find you soon. Hold on until I come searching,’ Yuan muttered inwardly, his expression determined.

Grace hugged him and whispered in his ear, “Believe in yourself, Darling. We will always be here for you.”

“And besides, if we manage to return to that world, you have to give Anna and me a tour. You must promise us,” Grace said in a demanding tone.

“I promise,” Yuan smiled. “I’ll show you the entire world and let you experience everything it has to offer.”

“And what about us?” Rose asked with a frown.

“Of course, the same goes for all of you,” Yuan said with a wide grin.

Hearing this, everyone chuckled happily and excitedly.

A few minutes later, Yuan and his wives decided to retire for the night, even though morning was only an hour away. They somehow managed to sleep together in the same bed, with Anna and Grace resting on top of Yuan, hugging him tightly.

In the morning, Yuan and his wives were having breakfast in the dining room, while Miss Zara was scolding them for waking up so late. Since she had cleaned the floors the night before going to bed, she overheard everything that had happened in Yuan’s room.

‘I never thought Yuan had such monstrous stamina! He made love to his wives all night and only fell asleep when morning came. This is ridiculous!’ Miss Zara cried inwardly as she served breakfast with a flushed face.

“By the way, aside from waking up late, what are your plans? What are you going to do next? Perhaps accept some missions from the Hunter Association?” Miss Zara asked, curious about their next move. After all, they had accomplished what they came to the capital city for.

“Well, we want to continue traveling. We’re searching for a specific place, and to get there, we first need to find another special location that will lead us to it. That’s why we must travel the world,” Yuan replied in a calm voice.

“And what’s so important about this place? Is it where you were all born?” Miss Zara asked, narrowing her eyes in puzzlement.

“No. We were all born here. But we can’t tell you the reason for going there—it’s confidential,” Yuan said.

“I see… I won’t ask about it, then,” Miss Zara said before leaving.

After breakfast, Lily trained Little Zoe for about an hour. She was surprised to see how much Little Zoe had improved in her sword skills—she could now easily swing her sword a hundred times.

“Amazing! Little Zoe, you’ve really improved after just two weeks of training,” Lily praised her with a happy smile.

“Didn’t I tell you I wasn’t slacking off in my training? But you didn’t believe me,” Little Zoe said, puffing out her cheeks with a proud grin as she looked Lily directly in the eyes.

“Well, sorry for doubting you, Little Zoe,” Lily sighed, apologizing.

“Now that I’ve proven I wasn’t slacking off, it’s your turn to keep your promise and give me my gift,” Little Zoe said with a cunning grin.

“Pfft!” Yuan and his other wives couldn’t help but laugh at how cute Little Zoe looked while demanding her gift from Lily.

After thinking for a while, Lily decided to give Little Zoe a real sword. However, the swords she and Yuan used were meant for cultivators and were quite heavy. Normal people couldn’t even think of lifting such swords from the ground, much less wielding them in combat. Little Zoe would have to become a cultivator to use one of those swords.

After pondering for a while, Lily said, “Give me some time to think of an appropriate gift, okay?”

“Okay, but make sure you come up with a gift soon,” Little Zoe said with an excited smile.
