My Cat Turned Beastman Won't Stop Kissing My Neck

Chapter 169: Are You My Beastman Too?

After Gu Mian let go of Wen Qian, he turned and went to the kitchen to prepare some food for her.

Wen Qian sat alone on the chair, her gaze slowly sweeping over the three men before her. A trace of confusion flickered in her eyes.

’Knowing Gu Mian’s usual personality,’ she mused, ’he should have been upset long ago seeing me in such close contact with another male.’

But when Qi Ke had just thrown himself at her like a little cannonball, Gu Mian had acted as if nothing was wrong, his calmness astonishing.

After all, she had only mentioned Chi Heng’s name once before, and Gu Mian had flown into a jealous fit that lasted for quite a while.

"Qianqian, do you really not remember me...?" a choked-up voice suddenly rang out, shattering Wen Qian’s train of thought.

The silver-haired young man’s eyes were red-rimmed, his handsome face now looking somewhat wretched with sorrow. He exuded a kingly aura, yet at this moment, he was like a helpless child, kneeling humbly before her.

The man gently rested his chin on her lap as if seeking comfort, his long eyelashes trembling slightly.

At the sight, Wen Qian’s heart skipped a few beats. She felt a bit dazed, but that strange feeling was soon replaced by something else...

She swallowed subconsciously. Reason told her that some questions were better left unasked, but who could blame her? The two men before her were just too handsome, making it hard for someone like her, who was a sucker for a pretty face, to resist.

’If these two were on Blue Star,’ an uncontrollable thought flashed through her mind, ’they’d absolutely be male celebrities!’

But in such a complicated situation, Wen Qian could only suppress her inner amazement and try her best to remain calm.

"What’s your name?" the woman asked, clearing her throat.

"You really don’t remember us?!" Qi Ke, who was beside her, looked utterly shocked and zipped over to Wen Qian like a gust of wind. The resentful look in his eyes was practically overflowing, as if he’d been abandoned by the entire world.

Their eyes met. He then unfurled his two fluffy tails from behind him and swished them in the air a couple of times, looking utterly wronged. "What about my tails? You don’t remember my tails either?"

Recalling his recent time in the Beast World, Qi Ke’s heart filled with bitterness.

As fate would have it, during his time back in the Beast World, he had gone through another heat cycle. Throughout those long, agonizing days and nights, he had curled up alone in a corner, enduring both physical and mental torment.

He had finally managed to get news of Wen Qian, only for Gu Mian to send someone to inform him... that Wen Qian had lost her memories.

Seeing Qi Ke like this, Wen Qian felt a little unnerved, but her intense curiosity compelled her to figure out what was going on.

After much hesitation, she carefully spoke up, asking what exactly the relationship was between the two of them and herself.

The answer she suspected was confirmed, and Wen Qian’s world instantly started to spin. She stared at the sky, feeling all hope was lost, and silently roasted herself: ’Wen Qian, oh Wen Qian, you’ve really outdone yourself!’

’A life I never even dared to dream of... I’m actually living it?’

Wen Qian’s feelings were complicated. On one hand, she despised herself for being such a player, involved with multiple Beastmen. On the other hand, she couldn’t help but secretly praise her own good luck for being able to live this kind of life...

’I heard that in the Beast World, males outnumber females, and females are allowed to form Contracts with multiple Beastmen. By that rule, maybe my situation just counts as doing as the Romans do?’

But then her thoughts shifted, and Chi Heng’s image instantly appeared in her mind. They had held a marriage ceremony on Blue Star, and she had solemnly promised him that she would love him for a lifetime.

That heavy promise was like a giant boulder, crushing her until she could barely breathe. Inner conflict and struggle churned within her, leaving her unsure of what to choose.

Yin Zhi gazed quietly at Wen Qian. Although he couldn’t guess her thoughts, he keenly caught a hint of sorrow in her slightly furrowed brows and the desolate look in her eyes.

He instinctively assumed Wen Qian was missing her friends and family back on Blue Star. A wave of pity washed over him, and he quickly comforted her in a soft voice, "Don’t be sad. I’ve already arranged for people to work on a way to open a channel to Blue Star. If all goes well, you’ll at least be able to contact the people there."

As he finished speaking, he pulled his own phone from his pocket as if by magic and waved it in front of Wen Qian. "Even if we can’t meet for now, calls and video chats should be possible."

Hearing this, a flash of surprise appeared in Wen Qian’s eyes, which then turned into deep gratitude. She nodded gently.

Yin Zhi looked up at her, his smile tinged with adoration. His tiger tail behind him began to sway unconsciously, lightly tapping against her calf every now and then.

"Thank you."

"There’s no need for that between us," the man said, his gaze gentle.

The little fox Qi Ke, standing to the side, was not as oblivious as Yin Zhi. He looked down and studied Wen Qian’s expression, and after a moment, his lively fox eyes grew moist.

He stared intently at Wen Qian, who was still seated, his voice carrying a hint of grievance yet also a touch of certainty. "You weren’t thinking about that just now, were you?"

Wen Qian’s thoughts were so bluntly exposed that a blush instantly spread across her face. She let out a couple of awkward laughs, trying to bluff her way through.

But this subtle reaction didn’t escape Yin Zhi’s eyes. He slowly rose to his feet, his previously gentle gaze now narrowed slightly as if he had suddenly realized something. A trace of jealousy crept into his voice as he blurted out, "You’re thinking of some other man?"

The words hung in the air, instantly filling it with a tense atmosphere. Both men’s gazes were now fixed on Wen Qian, waiting for her response.

Hearing those three words, Wen Qian’s eyes went wide. She flailed her hands frantically in front of her like a little bird flapping its wings and hastily retorted, "You’re Beastmen, not men!"

The moment the words left her mouth, she regretted it. ’Isn’t this just digging the hole deeper?’

However, Wen Qian reacted extremely quickly. She immediately looked at the well-behaved boy standing to the side, trying to change the subject as if grasping at a lifeline.

"Um... who are you?"

Li Jiu jolted, realizing she was talking to him. He timidly raised his head, a hopeful look in his eyes. "Big sister, my name is Li Jiu."

Wen Qian was stunned for a moment, her gaze scanning the boy up and down like a searchlight. Li Jiu’s frame was slightly built, and his boyish face still held a trace of childishness.

Wen Qian couldn’t help but gasp, then asked in shock, "Are you one of my Beastmen too?"

At her words, Li Jiu’s face instantly turned so red it looked like it might start to bleed.

His hands nervously fidgeted with the hem of his clothes, and he ducked his head so low it nearly touched his chest. Just as he was at a loss for how to answer, Wen Qian added, "Impossible. You’re a minor... that’s illegal."
