Chapter 320: T4 Leviathan-class Hive Mothership

Chapter 320: Chapter 320: T4 Leviathan-class Hive Mothership

The T4 Hunter-class Leviathan, though labeled as a T4 Level creature, actually possesses a comprehensive Combat Capability that can only be considered Quasi-T4.

It boasts T4-level defensive capabilities, but its attack power, speed, and other factors are only around T3 strength.

Its role is somewhat similar to that of a Stellar Battlecruiser.

It excels at breaking through enemy lines, possessing formidable Biological Armor defense, while also wielding terrifying Biological Plasma Cannons capable of engaging enemies at medium range.

It is important to note that prior to this, Flying Zerg Units all had relatively short Firing Ranges.

It can be said that the emergence of this Zerg unit has significantly mitigated the Swarm’s disadvantage in range.

At this very moment, among the Swarm on the battlefield, dozens of T4 Hunter-class Leviathans have already been spotted.

But an even more massive figure has also made its dazzling debut.

It arrived accompanied by a terrifying Bio-plasma Cannon blast!

That Bio-plasma Cannon directly destroyed a T3 Knight-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer!

"That is... a T4 Colossus-class Leviathan!" Zhao Chen stared at the image, uttering the name of the culprit.

The T4 Colossus-class Leviathan, like the T4 Hunter-class Leviathan, is a Zerg unit belonging to the T4 Zerg Nest Mothership.

Its size is several times that of the Hunter-class Leviathan, but its movement speed is slow. In comparison, the Colossus-class Leviathan’s Firepower output is even more terrifying, and its Biological Armor is stronger.

Moreover, its Firing Range is also several times that of the Hunter-class Leviathan!

It serves as the primary Firepower output among the Zerg units subordinate to the T4 Zerg Nest Mothership!

"Now, only the T4 Guardian-class Leviathan is missing," Zhao Chen said with a somewhat bitter smile.

According to the recorded data on the T4 Zerg Nest Mothership so far, it possesses three types of T4 Level Zerg units, in addition to the vast numbers of T1 Flying Insects, T2 Spiked Serpents, T3 Self-detonating Beetles, and T3 Corrupted Wyverns.

However, those three T4 Level Zerg units are the signature forces of the T4 Zerg Nest Mothership!

They are respectively: the Hunter-class Leviathan, the Colossus-class Leviathan, and the Guardian-class Leviathan.

The division of labor among the three is very clear.

The Hunter-class Leviathan charges into battle, serving as the assault unit tasked with breaching enemy Defense Lines.

The Colossus-class Leviathan provides long-range heavy Firepower support.

The Guardian-class Leviathan, which has not yet appeared, is responsible for protecting the T4 Zerg Nest Mothership, undertaking escort duties.

Therefore, unless the T4 Zerg Nest Mothership is discovered, Zhao Chen and the others will not see the Guardian-class Leviathan.

It is also because of these three Leviathan Zerg units that the T4 Zerg Nest Mothership has another name: the T4 Leviathan-class Hive Mothership!

"Commander, the Morton Stargate has currently established five Defense Lines. However, the second line has already collapsed. That commander has ordered the Defending fleet to begin retreating to the third Defense Line. Our combat formation is fully deployed and ready to provide support. If we don’t support them soon, I fear they won’t even last an hour!" Charlotte reported.

Watching the battered Morton defensive fleet, their morale was indeed severely shaken.

Some T1 Interstellar Warships even showed signs of combat reluctance. If it weren’t for the Stargate being under the control of the Eldest son of Morton, leaving them with nowhere to flee, they would likely have already escaped.

"Charlotte, you must hold out for another hour!" Zhao Chen said gravely.

"One hour is not a problem. Commander, you can rest assured," Charlotte replied confidently.

"I leave it to you," Zhao Chen said.

Zhao Chen handed over command of the Fierce Dragon Fleet to Charlotte. This White Tiger General would now lead the Fierce Dragon Fleet in resisting the Swarm!

"Orders received," Charlotte’s eyes widened fiercely, her voice transmitted to every starship of the Fierce Dragon Fleet: "T3 Phoenix-class Heavy Carrier Starships and T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starships, begin deploying all stellar fighters and stellar drones.

Adopt the previous defensive combat strategy. Cover the defense line and resist the Zerg unit attacks. Do not penetrate deep into the Swarm!"

"Understood," Deputy Captain Red Eye, in charge of commanding the T3 Phoenix-class Heavy Carrier Starship, had already begun launching units of T3 Phoenix-class Stellar Fighters and interstellar drone swarms.

That expanse of crimson bloomed open in the flight paths surrounding the hull of the T3 Phoenix-class Heavy Carrier Starship.

From a distance, it looked like a fiery flower in full bloom.

Compared to the T3 Phoenix-class Heavy Carrier Starship, the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship was truly insignificant.

"T2 Black Rhino-class Interstellar Heavy Assault Frigates and T2 Snow Mastiff-class Heavy Interstellar Battleships, enter the third defense line of the Moreton garrison forces and assist in defending against the Swarm’s attack!" Charlotte commanded.

Nearly fifty T2 Fierce Dragon starships surged into the battlefield.

Shen Bing sat in the captain’s chair, her heart surging with unparalleled excitement.

This was a feeling impossible to experience at the Academy. Her entire body felt charged, every cell seemingly on the verge of explosion.

Even facing a Swarm as terrifying as this.

Yet Shen Bing felt not a shred of fear, only exhilaration!

That’s right!

Her place, Shen Bing’s place, was the battlefield! Not those boring lecture halls!

"Snow Mastiff-class Heavy Interstellar Battleship, prepare to open fire!" Shen Bing’s battle-ready voice rang out on the bridge!

Charlotte continued issuing orders: "T2 Lion King-class Heavy Interstellar Missile Ships, provide fire support to local areas based on the intensity of the Swarm’s assault!

Captain Bai Xue! Remember... our firepower needs are critical. Deploy all stellar missiles to where they are most needed!"

Captain Bai Xue, the wolf girl, curled the corner of her mouth into a somewhat morbid smile: "You and the Commander can rest assured. I will absolutely make those Zerg scum taste the art of explosion!"

Five T2 Lion King-class Heavy Interstellar Missile Ships lined up in a row. All interstellar missile launch silos were ready, each stellar missile prepared to fulfill its purpose at any moment.

Charlotte said sternly: "All T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruisers, form teams of three. Prepare for penetrating assault operations to annihilate primary targets!

Primary targets are Tier-4 Zerg units and T3 Hive Motherships within the Swarm.

Remember! If the attack cannot succeed, retreat immediately!

Do not get entangled with the Swarm."

"Understood!" The captains of all T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruisers replied in unison.

At this moment, the Fierce Dragon Fleet was about to face an unprecedented and brutal battle.

In fact, Zhao Chen knew all too well in his heart that, judging solely by the data before him, neither he nor his Fierce Dragon Fleet could possibly hold the Morton Stargate for even five hours.

But!

He was Zhao Chen. If he said they could hold it, then they could hold it!

"Fire!"

The first volley from the five T2 Lion King-class Heavy Interstellar Missile Ships unleashed their firepower. One stellar missile after another roared out with exhaust plumes, soaring over the third defense line of the Morton garrison forces.

They ignited the onrushing Swarm!

The explosions of the stellar missiles tore through the Swarm.
