Mr. Law's Official Announcement: He is a Wife-Doting Fanatic!
Chapter 647: This Big Jerk
“Cecilia, you look so beautiful…”
The man murmured in a seemingly casual tone, yet his eyes shone with an almost mad intensity…
Cecilia Vaughn saw Adrian Law staring at her like a hawk eyeing its prey, and goosebumps immediately rose on her skin.
Thinking that there was no way to avoid it anyway, she decided not to hide and instead faced the man’s agile figure head-on, grabbing Adrian Law’s tie in the process while he looked at her with surprise.
“You think I’m beautiful? Well, I think you’re very handsome too…”
“…”
Adrian Law obviously didn’t expect Cecilia Vaughn to suddenly take control. He curved his lips into a slight smile.
“Handsome enough to make you head over heels?”
“Of course!”
As if to prove her point, Cecilia Vaughn instantly half-crawled up, leaning against the man’s waist, wrapping her arms around him, and then kissed Adrian Law’s Adam’s apple.
…
“I am infatuated with you, but I’d rather see you head over heels for me.”
This was supposed to be a convoluted statement, but Adrian Law instantly understood what Cecilia Vaughn meant.
The man swallowed, his sensual Adam’s apple moving up and down with such captivating masculinity that it almost instinctively made one want to scream.
“Alright, but I want to see how you make me lose my mind… Just this isn’t enough.”
“How about this?”
Cecilia Vaughn tossed her glossy hair, simultaneously grabbing Adrian Law’s wrist. Since Adrian wasn’t exerting any force, and was completely compliant with Cecilia’s actions, he fell straight onto the other side of the velvet carpet.
Cecilia Vaughn straddled the man’s waist, stretching out her slender fingers to hook onto his belt.
“How about this, is it enough?”
Cecilia’s eyes were as gentle as water, shimmering like a tranquil lake.
The light poured down from above, casting a golden glow throughout the room.
She even deliberately used her toes to lift the silk ribbon of her blouse that had fallen nearby, half covering her delicate shoulders.
Sometimes, it’s not complete exposure that is most attractive.
Rather, it’s this half-hidden, half-revealed state that feeds the imagination.
…
Evidently, Adrian Law was bewitched by this scene.
Adrian suddenly felt as if he had been submerged in a vat of wine, unconsciously becoming drunk.
“Cecilia, you enchantress…”
The man’s voice was hoarse.
He stood up abruptly, and under Cecilia Vaughn’s astonished gaze, retrieved a wine glass from the coffee table and filled it with vintage Bordeaux wine.
“Hey… don’t pour me alcohol, I don’t drink…”
Cecilia Vaughn was afraid she’d end up like last time, where a few sips left her so intoxicated she was at Adrian’s mercy.
…
Adrian Law chuckled lowly.
“No, it’s for me…”
Saying this, Adrian Law, beneath Cecilia Vaughn’s disbelieving eyes, began to pour the wine drop by drop on her shoulder.
The crimson liquid, like a flower blooming from the depths of hell.
So bewitching, eerily beautiful, and decadent.
…
Cecilia Vaughn didn’t know whether to laugh or to find it helpless.
“I didn’t plan for you to drink this way either…”
This was a bit… over the top?
What a shame for that newly purchased velvet carpet to be ruined by Adrian Law.
Feeling a need to retaliate, Cecilia quickly snatched the glass from Adrian Law’s hand and poured some on his hand, like painting an artwork.
“Adrian, I really like your hands… Well, now I can officially say your hands smell of wine.”
“You little rascal…”
Adrian Law couldn’t help but laugh at her words. Looking at Cecilia Vaughn’s mischievous grin, he fleetingly felt as if the entire room was infused with a certain vitality.
…
Before he met Cecilia Vaughn, he never knew that such life could exist in a solitary villa.
Besides adding more zeros to his accounts, Adrian Law couldn’t find a reason to strive for in life.
Even though earning more money was just a number to him.
After all, his life, though extravagant, was often dictated by Wyatt Law, who deemed nothing should diminish Adrian’s quality of living.
And Adrian Law himself cared little for luxurious clothing, fancy cars, or even the age-old allure of a beauty’s embrace.
One may wonder why we’re born into this world, and perhaps along the way, we’re filled with colorful dreams, but ultimately, we just leave behind an empty shell.
But meeting Cecilia Vaughn made Adrian understand.
That everything in life has meaning.
There will be someone, waiting for you at home, turning on the little light by the door.
There will be someone who loves your cooking, even if you think it’s nothing special, they’ll praise it, claiming it’s better than any five-star chef’s dishes.
There will be such anticipation that you feel excited about having a child, regardless of gender, as long as it’s yours together, it will be wonderful.
…
Cecilia Vaughn fulfilled all of Adrian Law’s expectations for a partner, even exceeding them.
Perhaps fate was favoring him from above.
Adrian Law, lost in thought, couldn’t help but lower his head, softly kissing the wine stain on her shoulder.
“Cecilia, you smell so good… like wine…”
“Hey, you have it too, okay, and it’s even stronger…”
Cecilia Vaughn suddenly laughed softly.
“Would you say this scene is as decadent as a luxurious feast?”
…
“Where did you find a feast? If you like, I could replace the water in the pool with wine.”
As for delicacies…
Adrian Law considered it and realized the imagery seemed too strange.
Cecilia Vaughn, evidently, also imagined the sight of skewers stacked in a jungle, and instead of thinking about the metallic scent of Golden Currency, inexplicably felt hungry.
Isn’t the image of a foodie always intact?
…
“Cecilia, as long as you like, I’ll do anything.”
“No need, no need! Then why don’t you just give me the stars in the sky?”
Cecilia Vaughn cast a suggestive glance at Adrian Law.
In an instant, they exchanged smiles.
It felt as though the warmth in the room increased due to the smile.
Cecilia Vaughn actively embraced Adrian Law around the shoulders and neck, her lips slightly parted, offering her own lips.
“Adrian, I love you…”
“In this lifetime, loving you is the simplest thing I’ve done, and the decision that required no hesitation.”
“Me too…”
The man spoke, and without warning, claimed her…
“…”
It wasn’t meant for you to kill the mood at this moment!
So painful! QAQ
You big jerk!
Cecilia Vaughn felt like crying without tears, and in frustration, she lowered her head, biting hard into the man’s shoulder.
She must leave a mark!
