Maybe it was because she had two glasses of fruit wine, Cecilia Vaughn’s usually serene autumn-like eyes were now smoky and misty, which made Adrian Law’s heart skip a beat for no reason as she looked at him.

"Cecilia, you’re drunk..."

Adrian Law reached out with some concern to check Cecilia Vaughn’s forehead temperature. Earlier, this little drunkard had been complaining about feeling hot, so he opened the car window for some fresh air, worrying she might catch a cold.

Unexpectedly, Cecilia Vaughn directly kissed his Adam’s apple.

The string in Adrian Law’s heart snapped instantly.

What further shattered Adrian Law’s self-control was that Cecilia Vaughn seemed to feel one kiss wasn’t enough and gently stroked his moving Adam’s apple with her hand.

"Eh, why is yours different from mine... so fun..."

"..."

Adrian Law was speechless, feeling as if a fire was ignited all over him by this confused girl, yet the instigator appeared naive and compliant, as if she hadn’t done anything.

"Cecilia, come down."

"No! You’re being mean to me! You’ve changed!"

Under the influence of alcohol, Cecilia Vaughn’s personality became somewhat childish; she pouted and pinched Adrian Law’s Adam’s apple indignantly.

"Why didn’t you tell me you have this and I don’t? I’m not convinced..."

Suddenly having a thought, the drunken girl snuggled further into Adrian Law’s embrace.

"Mm... If I turn into a boy, will I have one too..."

Adrian Law felt strange sensations throughout his body under her constant movement; he let out a low hum of discomfort.

"No, sweetie, some boys themselves don’t have such a noticeable Adam’s apple either."

"Then why do you have one?"

Cecilia Vaughn blinked her big eyes innocently, seeing the man tug on his tie, and burst into giggles.

"I want to play too."

"..."

"You, come down."

"I’m not..."

The girl defiantly put her hands on her hips, taking advantage of being perched on top of Adrian Law, and for once, looked down at the man in front of her.

"I’ll drive you crazy! You didn’t let me drink before..."

Adrian Law was amused for quite a while, seeing her small and playful appearance, feeling quite a headache, unsure whether he should settle the account with Cecilia Vaughn.

"Sweetie, it’s not suitable for girls to drink so much. You’re reeking of alcohol, I’ll take you home and make some hangover soup, and you can change your clothes; all we need to do is take the elevator and we’ll be home."

"I won’t go... Adrian is a big meanie, you actually dislike my smell."

When did he say that?

...

Adrian Law was full of helplessness while Cecilia Vaughn saw him shut all the car windows, and protested defiantly.

"Hey, not getting off doesn’t mean you can trap me here."

The girl angrily glared at Adrian Law.

Yet unbeknownst to her, that gaze, like a flowing autumn water, was not angry at all, just deeply charming and lovely.

Adrian Law saw her rare adorable look, no longer able to suppress the beast within his heart, stared directly into Cecilia Vaughn’s eyes.

"Are you really not taking the elevator?"

"Not taking..."

Cecilia Vaughn played her little game, glancing at the safety exit and stairwell nearby, her childish mischief wanting Adrian Law to carry her upstairs.

"Adrian, look there... um... um..."

However, before she could say her plan, the man swiftly embraced her shoulder and neck, his thin lips pressed down, accurately capturing hers.

!!!

Cecilia Vaughn stared wide-eyed in astonishment.

In her alcohol-induced daze, she didn’t feel anything particularly wrong about it, only recalling Adrian Law previously disliking her for smelling of alcohol and wanting her to clean up, so her little temper came up.

"Whimper, you’re mean, you said I was dirty and smelly just now, yet you’re kissing me..."

"Big meanie..."

The girl’s black eyes sparkled brightly like a river drenched in rain.

Adrian Law was already burning with fervor inside, a sharp glint flashed in his deep eyes.

"Sweetie, I don’t mind anymore."

Actually, he never did mind at all...

Adrian Law deeply savored the sweetness in Cecilia Vaughn’s mouth, perhaps due to the two large glasses of fruit wine she had earlier; aside from Cecilia’s inherent sweetness, there was an added sour-sweet aroma.

Cecilia Vaughn’s cheeks flushed red from his kiss, feeling uncomfortable as Adrian Law’s arms pressed heavily against her in the limited space of the car.

"You’re hurting me."

"Cecilia, be good, can we go home..."

Although things had already escalated, Adrian Law, seeing the innocence in Cecilia Vaughn’s eyes, didn’t want to take advantage of her here; he still wanted to take this little princess home.

"No..."

Cecilia Vaughn just finished speaking, when the man slapped her bottom hard.

"Mm... you hit me..."

Even in her muddled state, Cecilia Vaughn instinctively felt it was improper, her face turning red as she couldn’t think of any way to retaliate other than aiming to bite Adrian Law’s tongue.

The man quickly sensed Cecilia Vaughn’s intention, secretly amused by his wife’s naivety; the corners of his lips curled into a charming arc, yet he held her tighter, kissing her in a wild storm-like manner, soon drowning all her rationality.

The man was apparently in high spirits, while Cecilia Vaughn didn’t know why, a sudden wave of nausea came, Adrian Law noticed Cecilia’s pale face and immediately stopped, patting her back.

"Cecilia, are you okay..."

"Mm... I feel awful..."

The girl pointed painfully to her throat and directly vomited all over...

...

Seeing Cecilia Vaughn in distress, although the mess inevitably spattered on Adrian Law’s clothes, even with his usual cleanliness, his first thought wasn’t disgust but quickly holding Cecilia, gently patting her shoulder to soothe her.

"Cecilia, relax, you probably ate too much, come on, I’ll take you upstairs to wash up."

The man glanced at the chaotic state inside the car, quickly sent a text to Wyatt Law, asking him to arrange for cleaners, then swiftly carried Cecilia Vaughn towards the elevator...

...

Adrian Law took off the dirty coat from Cecilia Vaughn, wiping her face and hair with a damp towel first.

"Cecilia, wait a bit before showering, stay quiet here for a while, I’ll go make some hangover soup."

Drinking gets people in trouble.

Adrian Law truly hadn’t expected, not only did Cecilia Vaughn have poor alcohol tolerance, drinking might also upset her stomach.

After all, she only had a couple of drinks.

Seeing the girl obediently sitting by the dining table through the reflection in the transparent mirror, deep affection emerged in the man’s heart...
