Chapter 1102 - 1111

Ethan Grant led Serena Sullivan over, first greeting Mr. Sterling, then Simon Sterling, Claire Sullivan, Mr. and First Mrs. Sterling.

"Dad, Mom, Uncle."

Everyone skipped past Ethan Grant, their eyes landing on the belly of Serena Sullivan.

"With such a big belly, why are you even coming out?"

First Mrs. Sterling knew Serena Sullivan was coming and had already stood up. She went over and held Serena’s hand.

"It’s been so long, look at you, you’ve gotten so thin." Mr. Sterling commented critically.

Finally getting a daughter, she wasn’t raised properly and was taken away by Ethan Grant. Mr. Sterling didn’t find Ethan as pleasing as First Mrs. Sterling did. None of the men in the Sterling Family found Ethan pleasing.

"That’s not true!"

Serena Sullivan was pulled to sit down by First Mrs. Sterling, "I’m actually fatter."

After returning to Solaria, during that period when she was working, she lost a lot of weight, had to take medicine and injections every day, her appetite had become much worse, and Ethan Grant felt terribly sorry for her.

Opposite Serena sat Claire Sullivan and Simon Sterling. Looking at them, Serena felt strange.

"I brought your mother to meet people." Simon said with a different motive.

These words were meant for Mr. and Mrs. Sterling.

Today, neither of them could find any fault with Claire Sullivan; they knew that once Simon and Claire registered their marriage, there wasn’t much to say.

"When did I ever disagree!"

Mr. Sterling said irritably, "In the future, don’t you ever mention divorce again, you’ve embarrassed us thoroughly."

As the Family Head, Simon Sterling was the face of the Sterling Family.

His marriage with June Kane was an uproar in the Imperial Capital, and Mr. Sterling always felt mocked by his friends when out playing cards.

Now, Simon remarried, and he found the biological mother of Wyatt and Serena, he didn’t mind.

Even if some busybodies brought up Claire’s marriage with Joel Quinn in Solaria, he would glare at them, and if someone was tactless, he’d directly start cursing.

This was Mr. Sterling’s attitude!

"You ran off to the Imperial Capital with such a big belly, how could we not be worried!" Claire Sullivan took over the conversation; she and Simon came along, partly because of Serena.

"With Ethan here, there won’t be any issues." Serena replied with a smile.

Sitting there with his perfect demeanor was Simon Sterling, who glanced at Ethan Grant, "It’s precisely because he’s here that we’re worried."

The father-in-law looking at the son-in-law, he only saw more fault.

"Exactly, exactly!" Mr. Sterling echoed.

"What are you talking about! Ethan treats Nancy so well." First Mrs. Sterling glared at Mr. Sterling, dissatisfied that he kept talking about Ethan Grant.

"Where are the brothers?"

Serena followed up with a question.

The Sterling elders were all there, but the three brothers were not.

"The eldest and second brother have matters to attend to, and Wyatt is on his way." the old man said.

"No need to wait for them, let’s have lunch first, chat over food."

Mr. Sterling stood up, leading First Mrs. Sterling forward.

The others followed behind.

Serena moved clumsily; she and Ethan Grant walked at the back.

In front were Simon Sterling and Claire, they needed to go through a corridor and into another room to get to the dining area.
