Monsters Are Coming

Chapter 1635: Chapter 415: Void Battlefield, Version Update_2
The Mingwu Emperor suddenly raised his head, his eyes still burning with anger:
"Ye Ming, look, look at what they are saying. They call me a burden, even claim that I’m Shuyan’s inside man, conspiring to harm you on purpose. It’s simply ridiculous, slanderous even, making things up maliciously...."
The more he spoke, the angrier he became, his chest heaving:
"I admit, my decision back then was flawed, leading the tribe into hardship, and you... you sacrificed yourself as a result. That’s my fault, I’ve never tried to shirk it, but how could they twist the truth like this, smear my sincere efforts as collusion and treason? I find it hard to swallow this indignation."
Ye Ming looked at His Majesty, sweat forming in his heart.
Clearly, His Majesty was now taking this seriously.
He immediately comforted:
"Forum players only see the result, not the cause behind it. They have never experienced that desperate situation themselves, naturally unable to understand the difficult considerations behind each of your decisions."
Faced with Ye Ming’s persuasion, the Mingwu Emperor suddenly understood.
Recalling the unbearable filth of the forum comments, and comparing it with his own furious demeanor, he couldn’t help but feel embarrassed, saying grudgingly.
"Hmph, a bunch of vulgar riffraff." He eventually summarized resentfully, as if finding a way to save face.
Then he exhaled a long breath of vexation.
Forcibly suppressing the discontent within, he closed the forum light screen, his gaze becoming sharp once more:
"You’re right, it is I... who lost my composure. From now on, we’re brothers in the same camp; arguing with them is meaningless. Our gaze should be set forward... Also, don’t call me Your Majesty anymore, just call me Evil Elder, going forward you will be the leader."
Speaking as such, Ye Xie (the Mingwu Emperor) flexed his wrist, feeling the power flowing through the new body, continued:
"Where to next? It’s time for this new body to get some exercise."
Seeing Ye Xie had let go of the notion of arguing right and wrong with forum players, shifting his attention to real problems, Ye Ming slightly raised the corner of his mouth, nodded:
"Before setting out, we need to plan the use of the remaining sacrificial power. My initial thought is to prioritize resurrecting the tribe members, then head to the Fallen Star Sea Area for hunting, to rapidly strengthen our power."
Saying this, he then pulled up the Space Bag interface and shared it, his expression serious:
"Purchase vehicles, Rune Resonance Weapons, Automatic Cultivation Technique... We have a total of 1.73 million sacrificial powers left."
"Regarding the resurrection of tribe members, the Mingwu Army has 999 resurrection slots still available, and the basic cost for resurrecting each tribe member consumes 5,000 sacrificial powers, totaling 4.995 million sacrificial powers, which far exceeds our current reserves."
"Furthermore, after resurrection, the tribe members will not have any initial life soul in their Star Vein Slot. To form basic combat power, each must embed at least one initial life soul. Calculating at the lowest price of a First Generation Soul, it also requires 500 sacrificial powers, so the actual resurrection cost per tribe member is 5,500 sacrificial powers, totaling 5,494,500 sacrificial powers."
"If considering efficiency, and wishing they can quickly form effective combat power, an ideal start should include: having a Level 1 Body Refining Level, allowing the body to directly inherit the attribute bonuses of the initial soul, so the most reasonable start should be 15,500 sacrificial powers."
After a brief silence, Ye Ming continued:
"Thus, the 1.73 million sacrificial powers we currently have is just a drop in the bucket for rebuilding the army... Therefore, I suggest employing an elite-first strategy: use this sacrificial power to resurrect 110 core tribe members first."
"Calculating at an opening of 15,500 sacrificial powers each, this consumes a total of 1.705 million sacrificial powers, leaving 25,000 sacrificial power, which can be used to buy basic Healing and Spiritual Recovery Potions to be prepared for emergencies."
Ye Xie nodded in agreement after listening to Ye Ming’s explanation:
"Let’s go with your idea, when resurrecting tribe members, priority should be given to snowballing, accelerating our growth, rather than dragging the team down; the first batch of resurrected warriors must have sufficient combat power to immediately participate in hunting as reinforcement, so the 15,500 sacrificial power opening is very necessary."
"Blindly pursuing quantity, resurrecting a large number of tribe members with low initial combat power will instead deplete resources, making our steps difficult...."
Ye Ming saw that Ye Xie understood his idea, and nodded solemnly:
"Next, let’s draw up the list of these 110 core members together, let them be reborn and follow us... into conquering the future."
Their gazes intersected, each seeing the burning determination and hope in the other’s eyes.
...
Three days later, in the Fallen Star Sea Area.
On the Initial Island.
Deep in the dense forest, a team consisting of over a hundred players was efficiently clearing away the monsters that lived in groups.
The only magic system and support player in the team was Ye Xie (the former Mingwu Emperor), who stood on a slightly elevated hillside.
He held a Magic Wand named "Ming Erosion Language," and gray-white mist continuously emanated from its tip, quickly engulfing the area ahead spanning nearly a thousand meters.
Besides obscuring vision, the mist also impaired the efficiency of monsters within, with their skin emitting a slight "zzzz" sound of corrosion, continuously weakening their defense and internal qi-blood circulation.
This was Ye Xie’s own creation, a range-weakening magic he called: Decay Mist, which combined the Dissolve soul as well as his comprehension of the Mingwu Element.
As the mist spread.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
Over a hundred dark shadows like specters leaped out from the shadows of the forest, piercing into the fog zone.
They were all dressed in simple black clothing, wielding sharp short blades or daggers.
Moving swiftly, they all took the assassin stream route.
They were the first batch of core tribe members, carefully selected and resurrected by Ye Ming and Ye Xie.
