Chapter 4471: Opened
Chapter 4471: Opened
"The data had barely changed," I said as I looked at the data in front of me.
It had been five days since I had been, and there had been only a slight change in the data. I have been measuring it several times a day.
"Yes," replied Prime Fara, the small-scaled man.
"Last time, as well. I had spent nearly a month here before returning as things turned normal," said a sixteen-year-old looking storm-lynx tribe beastwoman.
She is the Prime who arrived two days ago. She isn’t the only one.
There are now thirty-three Primes. Twenty-six Peak Primes, six High-Primes, and one Initial-Prime.
The Initial-Prime is an old man, half-human with reptilian heritage, who looks like he has one foot in the grave. There are barely any scales on his body, but his eyes are reptilian.
He is an independent Prime and a very powerful one. He had killed Peak Prime.
He has comprehended two laws; nobody knows to what degree, but most predict that they are above most Peak Prime comprehended.
Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to kill Peak Prime. That Prime was not weak; he had comprehended the law.
To my senses, he is one of the most dangerous people in here. One of the people here, I should be very careful of.
"Don’t jinx it, Prime Karilan," said the man standing beside her, but the woman just rolled her eyes before focusing back on the curtain.
Yes, there are good chances that it might turn into nothing like the last two times, but not a single Prime is willing to walk away.
They won’t walk away until there is a definite sign. That curtain isn’t opening.
"So, it is just waiting." Stated Prime Grerus and flew back toward his abode. A few more Primes did that as well, but all those Primes, despite going back to their abode, kept their aura active.
It is to scare away any monsters.
As for the Silver Prime monster, well, if it comes into the range, there is no way we are going to avoid it. It will sense us, even if we were hiding.
Well, they.
I have a great stealth ability, which I have now acclimated to this place. If I had even a few seconds, I have confidence to hide.
I didn’t leave. Instead, I looked at data from the last few times and compared it with this.
I didn’t get any insight.
The only thing I could glean. It opens when certain conditions match inside and outside; nobody knows what they are.
I don’t mind waiting. It’s not like I have anywhere else to go quickly. Unlike me, these people are very busy, but they will stay here as long as there is hope of opening.
The resources inside are too important for them not to wait.
Inside the abode, I cooked myself a good dinner and worked on inheritance. I continued until the late afternoon, when I stepped out for an hour to attend a meeting.
It happens twice daily in the morning and late afternoon.
After returning, I once again worked on my inheritance before taking a break for dinner and then resumed working on it until late at night, when I began practicing the methods.
Beep Beep!
I was in a deep sleep when the sound rang out, and I woke.
There is a screen in front of me, and I am seeing the data on it. I couldn’t help but smile on my face. Instantly, I walked out of the abode.
A few seconds later, I was in front of the curtain, looking at the tools.
Confirming what my abode sensed.
Seeing that, a ball of energy appeared in my hand and divided into tens of parts and moved toward the abode. Visible and the hidden.
It took seconds for the Primes to come out of the abode.
The opening is going to take time. So, the process won’t be hidden. I might as well inform them, seeing they would have sensed it eventually.
I wouldn’t have done that. The opening of it had been swift; that would have given me an advantage.
"Is it happening?" asked Prime Grerus as he appeared beside me. "Seems like it," I replied, and the next moment projected the data.
"Finally,"
A smile appeared on the faces of many, but I could also see many of them becoming cautious.
Their soul sense strengthened, and I could see them getting ready to respond at a moment’s notice. Once it opens, no one will be friends.
They wouldn’t hesitate to kill one another. If the resource is important enough.
I plan to fight for it as well. It is as important to me as it is to them. I may not be able to use the law, but it helps me tremendously with my inheritance.
Though getting those resources wouldn’t be easy, there are very powerful people here; some I don’t want to fight at all.
Still, I prepared myself for all.
"As everybody knows, I have comprehended metal laws. If anyone finds a greater law resource of that element or even the earth element, I will be willing to trade it for a resource of equal value," she said, with many rolling their eyes at her.
Her law isn’t secret; it is common knowledge among the Prime.
I like to know the laws of some who hadnt shown it yet. They have it, I could feel it. I have become more attuned to this feeling in the realm, where every Prime had comprehended the law.
A few more people stated their laws and their willingness to trade, before focusing back on the curtain. The visible changes had begun to happen to it.
"It’s thinning," said the tall, horned Prime excitedly.
Others have become excited, including me. We have been waiting for it for days, even though it might not happen. It is happening.
Minutes passed, and the curtain became thinner and thinner till we could see what was behind it.
Many people got close, but they didn’t enter. It’s not safe yet.
Finally, after what seemed like hours, the curtain had fully disappeared, and we all shot forward without wasting even a moment.
