Letting the questions and answers he got from the subclass upgrade linger for a bit longer in his mind, Valyr decided to spend a bit of time looking through the notifications he received from the system.

‘With how long the notifications went on in my head during the upgrade, I suppose my hypothesis of obtaining powerful skills from the upgrade must be true,’ muttered the young man to himself as a hint of curiosity appeared on his face.

‘Surely with me not getting any skills before the upgrade, the skills I’d obtain would make the effort worth it, right?’

Ding!

Summoning a notification screen in front of him, the young man went ahead and read through the notifications one by one.

‘That’s quite a significant jump.’

Reading through the first set of notifications from the system, Valyr inwardly whistled in slight surprise after seeing how much his stats had increased from the upgrade.

Before going through the upgrade, he thought that the stats boosted by the subclass would only go up by around 30 points each after it was upgraded to Uncommon grade.

Yet, contrary to his expectations, the upgrade gave him double that, with PER even going up by the triple digits.

‘It’s probably because of the titles Marcus gave me,’ surmised Valyr after giving it a bit of thought. ‘After all, my second subclass now gives as much stats as what the first subclass would normally give.’

‘On top of that, the stat gain for my second subclass is based off my main class. With my main class now at Ancient+ grade, the effects only compound further,’ he continued, only to then notice the new name his second subclass now had.

‘True Mystic Rune Alchemist, huh?’ Valyr let out a slightly wry chuckle. ‘With how I’ve been mostly relying on my own efforts to get through it, I suppose it only makes sense that it now has the word ‘True’ added onto it.’

‘Then again, no subclass is complete without the accompanying skills that comes with it.’ As those words came to mind, the young man soon shifted his attention towards the next set of notifications…

Only to be left at a complete loss after seeing how many there were.

By the time Valyr had gotten to this part of his notifications, the young man took a couple steps back to distance himself from it, only to then close his eyes as he tried his best to process what he’d just learned.

Aside from the fact that the first set of skills he obtained from the upgrade were initially something he would obtain after getting the subclass, there was still the mystery that was Mystia’s messages.

‘Is it pre-recorded?’ asked Valyr to himself, giving the woman in question a brief glance.

Seeing that most of her attention was still occupied towards teaching her other self Mystic Rune Alchemy, the young man eventually came to the conclusion that his thought might have been the case.

‘But does she know I’m going through the messages she recorded right now?’ he asked himself not long after, the curiosity he felt towards the matter causing him to scratch the back of his head.

In the end, he decided to save the questions he just came up with alongside the other questions he already had for later.

After all…

There was still one more set of skills he had to go through before he was done.
