Chapter 62 Second Legacy
After eating some fancy dessert and enjoying their time, Alex and his family left the hotel, completing their day with happy family moments.
The Next day as planned, Alex, Sophia, and his mother visited the hospital, and without facing any problems, the Life Serum treatment was
completed.
Dr.Elmer did many health tests to get the most accurate data, and after discussing Sophia’s condition with many good doctors at the hospital, he prescribed Sophia a detailed diet that she needed to follow.
Dr.Elmer also helped Alex with keeping the complete truth from his mother by telling her all the good benefits Sophia would get from her condition, making her way less worried about Sophia’s condition.
After spending close to six hours in the hospital, Alex left the hospital with Sophia and his mother in very happy mode as he had just stopped the worst nightmare of his previous life from repeating.

‘The night cycle should be completed in the Ancient World by now.’ Alex thought, ready to return to the game world.
‘I forgot all about the auction after my first meeting with Dr.Elmer.’ Alex thought after he tried to think about things he wanted to complete before searching for his legacy.
“Do I want to join The Private auction happening in a few hours?” Alex questioned, knowing there would be hardly any good items at the private auction and those items would sell for more than their actual value.
‘A Duke is holding the auction, and it is guaranteed to have most items he doesn’t want for himself, but there should be some rare items he placed to auction to attract wealthy nobles.’
Alex knew that the auction could have something valuable, but with no knowledge of the items being auctioned, the whole trip to another kingdom on a chance to acquire a useful item could end up with a lot of wasted time.
‘My chances of buying a valuable item in the auction would be meager with my small fortune.’
Alex knew that he was wealthy compared to most players, but his wealth was just chump change compared to real nobles, and if an item that he wanted to buy got an affluent noble interested in it, his chances of acquiring it would be zero.
‘I need to visit the Gold kingdom to acquire the [SS] Rank Assassins legacy, so attending the private auction is not a problem.’
‘I will go to the auction just to experience what it feels like to attend a private auction for only noble.’ Alex decided to go to the auction.
‘The auction will start in a few hours, which should be more than enough for me to obtain the second [SS] Rank legacy.’
After deciding in which order he wanted to complete things, Alex left his room and, after eating his meal, he left the hotel toward his first destination on the day, the Adventurer guild.
——————
‘I hope the Adventurer guild Branch Head gives me a reasonable price for the legendary forging metal.’ Alex thought, standing outside the Adventurer guild.
Alex came to the adventurer guild to buy two items, and to buy them, he needed a lot of merit points which he didn’t have, but he also didn’t want to waste time doing missions for a month to get the necessary merit point.
So Alex decided to sell the legendary forging stone he got as an additional reward for completing Bevel’s quest to the Adventurer guild branch Head in exchange for merit points.
Alex needed merit points to buy his [SS] Rank legacy from the adventurer shop, which was selling for a meager price of six thousand merit points.
The price was so low because nobody knew that it was a [SS] Rank legacy item, as the owner listed it for sale as a three-meter giant heavy shield that was sealed using many Rank five sealing magic spells with no other information.
The Legacy Shield was sealed, and to unseal it, one would need a peak grade Rank Five consumable unsealing scroll that would cost twenty-Five thousand merit points, four times the original shield amount.
Nobody was mental enough to gamble a Rank Five unsealing scroll to unseal a giant hunk of metal just to try their luck, hoping to get a treasure.
In Alex’s previous life, the shield was bought by a player named “Prince,” a Saudi Royal prince with unlimited money who liked spending money without care.
One day, Prince bought the shield to appease his curiosity, and after unsealing it, he hit the jackpot, a real tank category [SS] Rank legacy.
‘After getting this legacy, I would have two leaving me with the easiest legacy to acquire, and then I could complete the deal gaining real wealth.’ Alex thought as he walked into the adventurer guild building.
After entering the building, Alex approached the Elf receptionist to ask for a meeting with Branch Head after admiring her breathtaking beauty.
“Greetings, Miss Elf. I want to use one of my golden tickets to meet with Branch Head.” Alex said as he paced his adventurer card to the desk.
“Sir Hidden One, You have Two golden tickets. Do you want to use one of your golden tickets to meet with Branch Head?” The Elf lady asked after checking Alex’s adventurer card.
“Yes, Please arrange it as fast as possible because it is urgent,” Alex replied.
“Sir Hidden One, I suggest you delay your meeting with Branch Head or use your golden ticket to ask for help from the adventurer guild to solve your problem.”
“The Branch Head is in a terrible mood for some reason, and It is very likely he won’t even listen to your request, and you would end up wasting your precious golden ticket.” The Elf lady advised explaining why meeting with Branch Head was a terrible idea.
The golden ticket was a scarce currency in the adventurer guild that was nearly impossible to get as the easiest way to get one golden ticket for a guild member was to increase their Adventurer Rank.
A Guild member will get one golden ticket after every Rank increase, and as increasing the first two Adventurer Ranks is the easiest, most adventurers would only get two golden tickets in their whole life.
The golden tickets could be used in multiple ways, but their most basic use case was to use them to get help from the Adventurer guild.
An Adventurer could use a golden ticket to request a meeting with any guild member, including all high-Ranking adventurers.
The adventurer guild will ensure that the golden ticket user meets with the requested adventurer, but after that, the guild is not responsible for anything as the other party is only obliged to hear the ticket user’s request, but if he wants to accept it or not will completely depend on his decision.
In most cases, the high Ranking adventurers will never accept the ticket user request, and even if they accepted the request, they would demand an absurd amount of payment for their service.
The best and also the intended way to use the golden ticket was to ask for help from the adventurer guild, and the guild will do its absolute best to help you solve your problem.
“The Branch Head is obliged to hear my request, and if he wants to reject it after hearing it, I have no complaints, so please arrange a meeting with Branch Head,” Alex replied, knowing the Branch Head would be happy to buy a legendary Grade forging metal.
After hearing Alex answer, the elf lady didn’t give any reply and took a message crystal near her mouth and said something in a very low voice.
‘This is quite a primitive version of a mobile.’ Alex thought, seeing the elf lady using a communication crystal.
“Sir Hidden One, Branch Head has agreed to meet you and hear your request.” The Elf lady said after she got a response from the transmission crystal.
“Please go to the building’s second floor and give this badge to the guard on the second-floor stair; he will lead you to the Branch Head office.” She gave Alex a black badge and his adventurer card back.
Alex took the badge and quickly left toward the second floor, and within a few minutes, the guard led Alex to the Branch Head office.
“Adventurer, A friendly piece of advice if the Branch Head rejects your request, peacefully leave the office.” The guard said as ale was about to enter the office.
‘Do I look like an idiot?’ Alex thought after hearing the obvious advice but didn’t reply and entered the office.
—————–
After entering the Branch Head office, he looked around in the giant room to find the person he came to meet, but he saw no person inside the room other than fancy walls covered with different weapons and a table in the middle of the room filled with stacks of papers.
“Adventurer, state your request. You have one minute to summaries it before I kick you out of my office.” Alex heard a heavy voice from his side.𝙚𝙙𝙣𝒐𝙫𝙚𝙡.𝙤𝙧𝒈
