Minecraft: The Conqueror of Multiverse
Chapter 139 New Universes!!
Chapter 139: Chapter 138: New Universes!!
The absolute second Vane spoke, the entire dimension violently shuddered. A massive, rumbling roar echoed from deep underground.
The gray mist aggressively churned, and a colossal, imposing bronze throne slowly rose from the ground.
Once the entire space finally stabilized and returned to calm, a new set of system prompts appeared right before Vane’s eyes.
[The Infinite Pocket Dimension has been successfully upgraded.]
[New Feature 1: The main body can now enter the Infinite Pocket Dimension at any time to check the progress of your avatars. You can freely hot-swap with avatars and travel to different universes at will.]
[New Feature 2: The Infinite Pocket Dimension has now perfectly integrated with the Quest Mod, Inventory, and other core features. It will now generate a complete, comprehensive questline based entirely on the target universe.]
[Every time you complete a quest, you will receive items that directly aid in your campaign.]
[Reaching 10% Campaign Progress grants one gacha pull, allowing you to acquire rare items to assist in clearing the universe.]
A massive flood of information immediately surged into Vane’s mind, giving him a crystal-clear understanding of all the new features introduced by this upgrade.
Now, he could seamlessly hop between different universes at will, which would definitely stop things from getting too boring.
On top of that, the questlines were going to be far more structured, and the rewards would be significantly better. He wouldn’t have to endlessly grind his ass off just to manually craft endgame gear anymore.
“This feature is absolutely fantastic! I grinded so hard this run and I still didn’t even manage to craft the Sword of the Cosmos! Just thinking about it pisses me off!”
Whenever Vane remembered that he had entered the final battle against the Four Chaos Gods without managing to cobble together a single ultimate weapon, he felt incredibly depressed.
Failing to earn the achievement of literally one-shotting the Chaos Gods in the Warhammer universe felt like a hardcore gamer sinking hundreds of hours into a speedrun only to choke on the final boss.
But now? Everything was great. As long as he just followed the steps and systematically completed his quests, he’d steadily rake in the rewards. By the time he hit the final boss fight, he’d be fully decked out with an ultimate weapon, armor, and accessories.
“The only real downside is that the upgrade didn’t increase the total number of universes I can run at the exact same time.”
Vane felt a little disappointed. He had genuinely expected this upgrade to give him more avatar slots or something similar.
If he could only conquer four universes per run, it was going to take an absolute eternity to conquer the entire multiverse.
Just as Vane was getting ready to exit the dimension, he suddenly realized that since he was already here, he might as well just go ahead and pick the universes for his next run.
Thinking about it, Vane casually waved his hand, and the endless sea of stars representing infinite cosmic coordinates instantly appeared right in front of him.
Vane quickly located the Ultraman universe, which he had already planned on visiting beforehand.
Then, he casually grabbed The Wandering Earth, Space King, and Doom universes just to round out his roster.
The timeline for the Ultraman universe was your classic, hot-blooded, pure shonen struggle. It was a universe where a bunch of little kaiju desperately dreamed of defeating Ultraman and claiming the title of Monster King.
One day, the deeply evil little kaiju would absolutely defeat the righteous Ultraman and fulfill their lifelong dreams.
The timeline for The Wandering Earth was also incredibly straightforward. The sun was on the verge of experiencing a massive helium flash that would swallow the entire solar system. In response, humanity utilized absolutely everything at their disposal to manoeuvre Earth as a spaceship out of the solar system, embarking on an epic, wandering journey to find a brand new home.
As for the Space King universe? That one was a bit more… nuanced.
The absolute King of the Lunatics led a massive horde of lunatics, completely defeated all the xenos and enemies, and then immediately bailed. He essentially just left a massive mob of crazy people behind to just randomly run around the universe, aimlessly hacking, slashing, and bullying aliens.
And the Doom universe’s timeline was simply about desperately holding the line to stop the deeply evil forces of Hell and aliens from directly invading Earth.
Having officially locked in his four universes, Vane smoothly exited the Infinite Pocket Dimension.
At this point, the war was completely over, and the only thing left to do was handle the absolute mountain of post-war cleanup.
He decided to just let the Primarchs and the Imperial bureaucrats handle that mess.
Vane gave the scene a quick once-over before pulling his gaze back and summoning the Destiny Block.
“Construct a portal leading directly to the Minecraft universe.”
The absolute second he spoke, a massive, awe-inspiring portal violently erupted from the ground right inside the Sanctuary of Mankind, immediately radiating an intense, deep purple glow.
Vane casually stepped right through the portal. In the very next second, he appeared high in the sky directly above a breathtakingly beautiful megacity.
The entire city was perpetually bathed in the soft, warm light of a twilight sun, while the darker, shaded areas were gently illuminated by cozy, warm yellow lanterns.
The towering walls, grand temples, sweeping colonnades, and elegant arching bridges were all flawlessly constructed from richly textured marble.
The massive, sweeping plazas and heavily fragrant gardens were completely filled with meticulously crafted fountains that perfectly refracted the setting sun, casting brilliant, rainbow halos everywhere.
Massive, pristine white marble pillars effortlessly supported magnificent, awe-inspiring halls, while flower petals drifted endlessly through the air, creating a vibe that was both incredibly solemn and wonderfully dreamlike.
“Alright, let’s zone out a public hub area first. Once Guilliman finishes dealing with the Imperium’s massive backlog, I’ll call him over to officially handle the grand opening.”
Vane used Border Blocks to completely section off a portion of the beautiful megacity, ensuring that any players or multiverse entities who visited wouldn’t just randomly wander off and get totally lost.
Next, he rapidly generated a series of linked portals connecting to every single universe he had already conquered. This would allow beings from those specific universes to directly travel to this newly zoned-off hub area.
Finally, Vane pulled out the Bedrock cage holding Tzeentch and unceremoniously plopped it right down on the ground.
“I’m planning to have a little fun by basically kidnapping players from across the multiverse. Your absolute sole job is to design the stages and puzzles for these players, forcing them to use their brains and strength to desperately escape completely hopeless situations.”
“Remember, you have to make sure the stages are incredibly entertaining and have amazing production value. It needs to be a great way to kill time.”
Tzeentch stared directly at Vane, deeply questioning its own existence. Why does it feel like this guy is a vastly better Chaos God than I ever was?!
He’s literally planning to randomly abduct people from completely different universes, toss them into absolutely hopeless death traps, and force them to desperately fight for their lives—all just for his personal entertainment!
“Do you have a problem with that?” Vane asked, staring at the completely silent Tzeentch.
“Everything shall be exactly as you desire, my Lord,” Tzeentch replied quickly. “I will begin designing a beginner’s stage immediately, specifically tailored to ruthlessly filter out any unqualified candidates.”
“Excellent. As expected of…” Just as Vane was about to actually compliment Tzeentch, he was suddenly interrupted by a very loud gasp of pure amazement coming from right behind him.
Vane turned his head and realized that Big E had just stepped through the portal and was currently staring in absolute awe at the breathtaking scale and beauty of the city.
“What is this place?” The Emperor looked up, and noticing Vane staring at him, asked almost subconsciously.
“This is My World,” Vane replied, layering on the double meaning flawlessly.
“Did you build this entire city yourself?” the Emperor asked, pointing at the incredibly beautiful metropolis.
“Obviously,” Vane replied, a massively smug grin spreading across his face. “This is entirely my masterpiece. I completely overhauled and terraformed this entire universe.”
“That is genuinely incredible. As expected of a man who literally wields the authority of Genesis,” the Emperor said, genuinely amazed.
Vane quickly turned back to Tzeentch, who was still locked inside the Bedrock cage, and tossed out a few final instructions. He specifically warned the blue bird to make sure it actually designed good stages, otherwise, it was going to end up as cumin-roasted barbecue.
By the time he got back from the Ultraman universe, the very first Desire Grand Prix would officially be ready to launch.
Whoever managed to actually take first place would receive an incredibly generous reward.
Having finished dealing with Tzeentch, Vane turned his attention entirely back to the Emperor.
“Let’s go, Big E. I’m going to take a country bumpkin like you out to actually see the world.”
“See the world?” The Emperor paused for a moment, genuinely confused. “Where are we going?”
“To completely different universes, obviously. Are you really that dense?”
“To different universes?!” The Emperor instantly got a little overly excited. “Wait, am I officially becoming a dimension-hopping traveler too?!”
