Chapter 26: Drinking with a Half-Naked Teacher
Iris was trying to compose herself after her meeting with the principal when someone she knew well approached her.
"Are you all right?" Arthur asked, looking at her with genuine concern. His eyes met hers directly, almost as if he could see straight through her.
Iris’s first instinct was to lie. She opened her mouth, ready to say she was fine, but the words died in her throat. Arthur was looking at her with such genuine concern that she hesitated to lie.
"I’m fine." Still, Iris got up and avoided his gaze, taking a full second to regain her composure.
Iris knew well that her body was a big temptation and distraction. At times it was annoying; at other times, her boobs were the best distraction when she needed one.
She pressed herself against Arthur, the heavy weight of her massive chest deforming against his biceps. Then she grabbed his head and forced it down, shoving his face against her tits.
"I’m happy to see you," she said, trying to sound happy. "I was just taking a moment. It’s just a terrible, terrible time of year. My allergies are killing me."
"Iris. Your eyes are red. You were crying," he insisted, freeing himself from her boobs and immediately looking at her with worry again.
"I wasn’t crying." She tried to laugh. "I told you, it’s allergies."
"Right, and I was born yesterday." He leaned into her and wiped her tears with a soft touch. "You don’t look the least bit like someone with allergy problems right now."
"You’re too sharp for your own good, you know that?"
"I’ve been told." He smiled proudly.
"It was not a compliment," she said, flicking his forehead with surprising strength. "Anyway, where were you even going?"
"Secretary’s office. Documents." He gestured vaguely with his other hand, in which a folder hung forgotten. "They can wait."
"Can they?"
"They just did." He smiled. "You are more important." He said it with such honesty that Iris felt her eyes sting again.
"Listen," she said, holding back the tears...
She knew this was not the best idea. If she wanted to keep Arthur from finding out what had happened, she should get away from him as soon as possible, but...
"I don’t know about you, but I could use a drink. And I have a bottle of something at my place that would make you forget your own name," she suggested, hoping to have a good time with him.
Arthur raised an eyebrow. "Isn’t it a little early?" But she smiled and told him he was definitely going to accompany her.
"It’s never too early when you’ve had the day I’ve had." She looped her arm through his, pushing him closer to her boobs again. "Come on, stud. Keep an old lady company."
"You’re not old."
"Thirty-eight is practically ancient compared to you." She tugged him toward the exit. "Now walk. I’ll explain the virtues of a good whiskey on the way."
"Okay, let’s go," he said, following behind eagerly. He was hoping to find out what made Iris cry, his intentions couldn’t be more obvious.
The teacher found it ironic: normally a man would get a woman drunk to get into her pants, not to do something like that.
On their way there, Iris used her breasts as a distraction a few times, trying to keep Arthur from noticing how shaky she was. She had spent her entire life learning how to manage the effect her body had on men and how to use it to her advantage when necessary.
Especially when she was sober, she knew exactly how to brush against him, how to position herself to give him the best possible view of the cleavage she had just made even more pronounced. But her little tricks were barely working this time.
Once they arrived, she pressed a glass of whiskey into his hand, poured herself a generous measure, and settled onto the couch beside him.
"Okay, that’s enough about me," she immediately tried to change the subject. "What about you? Found a gym yet?"
"Found one, actually. Close to Amanda’s place."
"See? I told you you’d settle in." She took a long sip of her whiskey, letting the warmth spread through her chest. "You’re going to be the most popular guy on campus before you even start classes."
"I don’t need to be that popular, I don’t even think I want it..."
"Everyone wants to be popular."
"If I had one person who actually loved me and who I could really trust, I think it would be enough..." he commented, his tone carrying a hint of sadness, since Clarice had proved not to be that person.
"Seriously," Iris raised an eyebrow, "for some reason, you just struck me as someone who can’t settle for a single girl."
"What do you take me for?" Arthur asked in shock, the idea had never crossed his mind.
"Just putting it out there," she said, taking another big gulp from her whiskey cup, then filling it again.
They talked for a few more minutes, and Arthur returned to the main topic in the least subtle way possible.
"Iris." His voice was soft. "Now, could you tell me what happened today?"
"Nothing."
"Something happened. Don’t lie to me, please..."
"I said nothing." Her voice came out sharper than she intended, and she saw him flinch. She immediately softened, reaching out to touch his arm. "Sorry. I didn’t mean to snap. I’m just... it’s been a long day."
"You said that already."
"Because it’s true."
Arthur went quiet for a moment, thinking about what he should say next.
Then he set his glass down and turned to face her fully. "Iris, I’m not going to push you. But I want you to know, whatever it is, you can tell me. And whatever it is, I’m on your side."
The words hit her like a physical blow. Iris didn’t want to tell anything to anyone. She tried to laugh it off again.
"God, you’re sweet. You know that? You’re too sweet. It’s going to get you in trouble one day."
"Maybe..." He smiled and looked into her eyes again. "I’m right here. And I’m not going anywhere, so tell me if you need anything."
After that, they continued drinking, and Iris felt more and more like she was losing to her emotions. She should have stopped drinking long ago, but it felt so nice to drink with Arthur.
Then, before things could escalate and she lost control of the conversation, she decided to bring out the big guns.
He was immune to most of her teasing that day, but what about her literal underwear?
It all began with a few drops of whiskey on her blouse. It was an excuse for her to go to her room, remove her blouse, and then her pants, because it was too hot.
Iris was not a woman built for subtlety or discretion. Her waist curved inward like an hourglass, and her hips flared out in a way that made men forget what they were saying mid-sentence.
The lace did nothing to contain her impressive body. And her breasts... Those magnificent, impossible, gravity-defying tits pressed against the thin fabric.
When she came back, Arthur’s eyes went wide he wasn’t expecting to see her only in underwear.
"Something wrong, stud?" she asked, settling onto the couch beside him, letting her impressive chest rest against her folded arms. "You look flustered. Is there something wrong?"
Iris smiled, pressing herself even closer against him, her breasts squishing against his chest as though they were struggling to break free from her bra.
