There were so many that even the Nightmare Saint, which had spent countless years dealing with nightmares, couldn’t help but stare in astonishment.

Trillions of black orbs floated around them.

Each one contained a nightmare, and together, they represented an extraordinary amount of resources that the Nightmare Saint could use to increase its power.

The Nightmare Saint slowly turned its gaze towards the countless orbs, unable to hide the interest that had appeared in its eyes.

Then, Asher spoke again.

"These nightmares will be yours if you fight alongside me in this war. So, do you accept the deal, or do you want to fight me instead?"

Asher asked the question casually, as though he were offering someone a simple choice rather than presenting the Nightmare Saint with an opportunity to obtain an unimaginable number of nightmares.

The Nightmare Saint stared at the trillions of black orbs.

Its gaze gradually became more intense as it considered the benefits of accepting the offer.

With so many nightmares under its control, its strength would increase significantly. Not only would it recover the nightmares it had lost, but it would also gain far more than it had possessed before.

And considering the current situation, refusing such an offer would be incredibly foolish.

The Nightmare Saint didn’t hesitate for long.

It immediately nodded.

"I’m ready! So, when do we attack the humans?"

Its earlier frustration seemed to have disappeared almost entirely.

After all, there was no reason to remain angry when such a tempting deal was sitting right in front of it.

Asher looked at the Nightmare Saint and replied calmly, "You’ll feel when the time comes. Until then, go to that Blood Saint and get her ready to fight. Make sure the other Demons are prepared as well."

He paused briefly before continuing.

"After obtaining this many nightmares, the Demons will have an advantage in the upcoming war. And with that, I’ve fulfilled the condition I proposed."

The Nightmare Saint nodded without the slightest hesitation.

Getting the other Demons ready for war was hardly a difficult task for it. After all, it was a Saint, and there weren’t many beings who would dare to oppose someone of its status openly.

As long as it issued the order, the other Demons would have little choice but to take the situation seriously.

With that matter settled, the Nightmare Saint no longer had any reason to complain about the deal.

It had gained an enormous number of nightmares, secured a valuable opportunity to increase its strength, and agreed to participate in the upcoming war.

From its perspective, this was an excellent bargain.

Afterward, Asher allowed the Nightmare Saint to access the trillions of nightmares he had provided.

The Nightmare Saint immediately began absorbing and merging the nightmares into its domain, incorporating them into its own power.

As the process began, its attention was entirely occupied by the countless black orbs surrounding it. There was too much to deal with at once, and it was eager to make use of the resources Asher had given it.

However, after a while, the Nightmare Saint suddenly remembered that Asher was still standing nearby.

It turned its head and looked at him for a moment before asking,

"Why are you still here?"

Asher stared at the Nightmare Saint in disbelief.

Then, his expression immediately changed.

"Look at this bitch! You’re the one who destroyed my vessel, bitch! And now asking why I’m still here? How the hell am I supposed to leave without a vessel? Make a vessel for me first so I can get out of here!"

The Nightmare Saint stood silently as Asher continued cursing it without the slightest hesitation.

It simply stared at him, allowing him to vent his frustration without attempting to interrupt. After all, it had already learned that arguing with Asher was a waste of time. No matter what it said, Asher would always find a way to turn the conversation against it.

And after everything that had happened, the Nightmare Saint no longer had the energy to deal with him.

Once Asher finally finished cursing, the Nightmare Saint remained silent for a few more moments before speaking in an exhausted tone.

"Sorry. So, how would you like your new vessel to be?"

The Nightmare Saint didn’t argue or complain. Instead, it simply accepted defeat, knowing that this was probably the only way it could finally free itself from Asher’s company.

’Just make the vessel and get this guy out of my domain already.’

That was all it wanted at that moment.

"Just make a human vessel with a Master-rank core," Asher told it without any hesitation.

He had already decided what kind of vessel he wanted, so there was no reason to waste any more time discussing the details.

The Nightmare Saint nodded silently and immediately began creating the vessel.

In the next instant, a new human vessel with a Master-rank core appeared just outside its domain.

For a Saint-rank being like the Nightmare Saint, creating such a vessel wasn’t particularly difficult. However, it required a considerable amount of resources, which wasn’t a problem either. It simply had to sacrifice some of its nightmares and use them as the materials needed to construct the vessel.

Compared to the trouble Asher had caused it, sacrificing a portion of its nightmares was a small price to pay.

And so, after a short while, the new vessel was ready.

As soon as the human vessel had been created, Asher’s consciousness immediately entered it, taking control of the body.

After confirming that everything was working properly, Asher didn’t waste any more time inside the Nightmare Saint’s domain.

He gathered his mana and began manipulating it, gradually shaping it into the form of a bird. Once the transformation was complete, the newly created bird spread its wings and flew away from the Nightmare Saint’s domain.

The Nightmare Saint watched the bird disappear into the distance.

For a few moments, it remained completely still, as though it were making sure that Asher had truly left.

Only after confirming that he was finally gone did it let out a mental sigh of relief.

’Finally...’

It could finally focus on its own affairs without having to deal with Asher.
