Maybe I really am a Villian
Chapter 313: Nightmares 2
He lowered his head and looked at his hand, only to find that the skin where the raindrop had landed had begun to burn away, as though someone had thrown acid directly onto it.
Asher stared at his hand for a moment, trying to process what he was seeing.
Then he slowly looked back up at the sky and opened his mouth.
"Fuck, it’s acid rain!"
The rain fell with ferocious intensity, each drop a burning lash of acid on the earth. Every place was being scorched by the acid rain, the grass igniting and curling into blackened wisps. The acid slowly began to burn Asher’s body. His skin was seared layer by layer, his hair catching fire and dissolving into nothing. A drop fell into his eyes, and his eyes slowly burned until he became blind. And then he felt it—his whole body being consumed, slowly, by the acid rain.
Asher stood silently as his body was slowly burned by the acid rain. Since there was nowhere to find shelter from the rain, he didn’t waste his energy running. Soon, all his skin was burnt away, and his bones began to show.
Asher stood there silently. With no eyes, he couldn’t see. And since he had almost no skin left, he couldn’t feel much either—other than the pain all over his body as his tissue, blood vessels, and organs slowly burned, and he kept bleeding. He wasn’t even sure how he was still alive, but he was alive somehow.
Asher then moved his head upward, and then he smiled with only his bones left—no smile formed on his face.
And then Asher screamed with all the power he could muster before his vocal cords also slowly burned away in the acid rain. 𝖿𝖗ⅇℴ𝑚
"7 OUT OF 10."
And after screaming this, Asher began laughing like a maniac.
He kept laughing, and then the intensity of the rain suddenly increased, as if the rain had actually grown angry at his audacity. But Asher didn’t stop. He kept laughing as long as he could, and suddenly lightning struck him from the sky, and Asher finally died while his body was cooked.
Before dying, Asher thought, ’Still 7 out of 10.’
After dying, Asher found himself in some other place. He opened his eyes to look around, but he couldn’t see anything—there was only darkness all around him. He tried to move his body, but he couldn’t move it more than a few centimetres, because as he tried to move it further, it would strike something hard around him, something that felt like hard rock.
"I see, so I am probably stuck somewhere underground without any way of escaping with this stupid normal human body, and the only thing I can do is wait till I slowly die when all the oxygen is used up."
Asher stayed silent for a moment and then said in a disappointed tone, "1 out of 10."
And then Asher stayed in that small space for around nine hours, and then slowly died as all the oxygen was used up in that place.
And then Asher again found himself somewhere different, with the same normal human body. And then, before he could even look around, he felt himself falling. Asher then opened his eyes, and before he could see anything, he fell into something—a silver liquid. Asher tried to swim up towards the surface, but then he sensed something eating his whole body, and then he realised that this silver liquid wasn’t liquid at all. Instead, it was small organisms that were slowly eating his body.
Asher sighed and then said, "6 out of 10." As he said this, those small bacteria entered his body through his wounds and started eating his body from the inside.
Asher again died a painful death.
And then again Asher found himself somewhere different. When he opened his eyes, he found a demon in front of him. It was a strange demon—it was almost six metres in height. It had six big eyes on its face with a big mouth filled with sharp teeth. It had four long arms, each capable of holding Asher easily, and each arm had six long, sharp claws. It had two long legs,2 meters long, on which it was standing while looking at Asher with angry eyes.
Asher looked at the beast and then raised his hand and waved towards it. "Hi, I guess?"
Just as Asher said this, the demon lunged at Asher and then held his body with its long arms, and used its two other arms to pull Asher’s arms. Then it severed Asher’s arms, and as Asher bled, it moved Asher’s body upward above itself and then drank his blood as it fell below.
As it slowly drank Asher’s blood, Asher, being held in its hands, looked down at the demon’s mouth that was stretched as wide as it could go, and then Asher said, "I guess he didn’t like my greeting, or maybe he just didn’t understand language?"
As Asher was muttering this, the demon threw Asher away. Asher’s body went flying for some distance and then crashed to the ground. Asher coughed up some blood and then looked towards the demon.
The demon’s face was stained with Asher’s blood, and now it was slowly eating Asher’s arms that it had severed some moments ago. It slowly ate Asher’s arms as if they were the most delicious thing in existence, and then, after eating both of Asher’s arms, it moved its gaze towards where Asher was sitting now. Asher’s body was pale due to the loss of blood, but there was still a smile on Asher’s face.
The demon moved towards Asher slowly, trying to see if Asher would escape or not. But Asher did nothing as it moved towards him. The demon reached Asher and then again held Asher with two of its arms, and then used one of its six sharp claws to gouge out both of Asher’s eyes.
