Mated To My Best Friend's Lycan Alpha Brothers
Chapter 621 Unexpected Peck
(Author’s POV)
“Ahhh~ …. finally, back to where we belong~ …” Dion muttered, stretching and yawning as the plane touched down.
He looked at the two sisters, still sleeping soundly. Suddenly, a mischievous idea struck him, and a wide grin spread across his face. He leaned down and whispered to Myra, “Wake up~ …. lazy head, it’s time to go~ ….”
“Umm~ Mom~ … two more minutes,” Myra mumbled in her sleep but didn’t wake up. He tried again, calling her name, his voice raspy yet tender. “Myra~~~h …. Myra~ …. we need to go.” This time he leaned even closer, his lips brushing her earlobes.
Hearing her name, Myra groggily opened her eyes and turned her head to look at the source, but before she could see who it was, her lips touched Dion’s.
Dion, taken aback by the sudden movement, became very still and blinked rapidly. His heart started pounding wildly in his chest. Drey mmnnhhh in excitement.
“What are you guys doing?” Wendy’s surprised voice interrupted their moment. Myra, who was still not fully awake, snapped out of her dazed state at once and pushed Dion away instantly.
“Nothing~ … there was an~ … eyelash on your sister’s cheek. I was just helping her to remove it.” Dion rubbed the back of his neck as he made an excuse, but his face was bright red.
He had been intimate with countless she-wolves but never let anyone kiss him or vice versa. But this sudden, unexpected peck was making him blush. This was a first.
Myra got up from her seat and straightened her clothes. She was doing her best to avoid any kind of eye contact with Dion.
“Ohhh~ …. really,” Wendy feigned to shrug the topic off but could tell something was definitely cooking between her sister and Dion. A knowing smile appeared on her lips, but she quickly hid it.
“Let’s not waste any more time and get off,” Alaric spoke, his voice stern. He glanced at Myra with a cold expression and started to walk off.
Wendy mumbled, her voice low, “Sis, he seemed to be in a bad mood. Did we do anything to offend him?”
“Don’t mind him. Al is like this,” Brave said.
They all got out of the plane and headed straight to the cars that were waiting outside for them. The sun had just set, and the sky outside was a mix of pink and orange.
“Young Alphas,” Matthew Shaw, the pack’s beta, greeted them with respect.
“Matthew,” the four of them nodded.
“Alphas? Why is he calling them that?” Wendy asked Myra, her voice only audible to her sister.
“I don’t know~ …. mu~st be, must be a Kimberg’s custom or something like that,” Myra immediately tried to cover nervously.
“Ms. Miracle~ …. please come this way,” Matthew opened the back door for them.
“Mr. Shaw,” Myra greeted him with a warm smile and settled inside. Wendy followed behind. She immediately gasped as she looked at the car’s interior. “Whoa~~~~ …” Embarrassed, she quickly covered her mouth.
Matthew took the driver’s seat.
Wendy asked, “Are they not coming with us?” pointing towards the Lycan brothers.
Matthew answered, “The young ma~sters~ …” he looked at Myra and continued, “~have to be somewhere. They will meet us directly at the mansion.”
Wendy hummed in acknowledgement, but the hint of disappointment on her face was quite evident. Myra, on the other hand, sighed in relief. After that surprise lip-lock, she was feeling way too awkward to even be in the same space as Dion.
The car drove off as Wendy became all chirpy, talking to Matthew, asking about places to visit in Kimberg. The beta patiently answered each of her queries.
An hour or so had passed when they finally arrived at the Moon Shine’s packhouse. The sky outside was completely dark now, with bright, clear stars twinkling. As soon as they stepped out of the vehicle, the chilly evening breeze greeted the two.
“Myra~ … Wendy~ …. you both are here~ ….” Sara’s excited voice caught their attention. She and Nora were descending the stairs, coming straight for them.
“Ms. Everests~ …” Myra greeted politely, but Sara hugged her. The moment she touched Myra, she felt her cold skin and goosebumps all over her arms. Then she noticed Wendy’s slightly red nose tip. “Yona~ …. bring me two warm cloaks. My girls are freezing here.”
Yona followed Sara’s order. Once she came closer, a look of disgust and annoyance flashed across her face, but she quickly masked it with her usual professional smile. None of them saw it, but Wendy did. ‘Did I see it correctly, or did that maid grit her teeth at us?’ she thought. ‘Maybe I am just jetlagged and imagining it. Why would she?’
Next, Nora pulled both of them into her arms and mumbled, her voice soft and a little choked, “I heard what happened there. Are you two alright?”
At his mention, Myra bit her lower lip and hugged her back, replying, “We are okay.” Nora pulled away as they all headed inside the house.
“Sis Nora~ … your house is so beautiful, just like a castle,” Wendy exclaimed.
“Thank you so much, Wendy. I hope you like your room as well,” Sara replied with a warm smile. She then added, “Yona will take you to your rooms. Freshen up and come down. Then we will all have dinner together. Yona~ … help them with their luggage.”
Yona obliged with a sour mood, but outwardly she tried her best to maintain her expression.
“Mom, what about my brothers? When are they going to come?” Nora asked, searching for them.
“They and Noah will be here any minute,” Sara told her.
“Alright, I’ll go with Myra and Wendy too.” Saying this, she hooked one arm with Myra and another with Wendy as the trio walked inside the elevator.
Yona looked at them with contempt. Her hands on the suitcase tightened, making her knuckles white. ‘Those filthy human trash get to live a life like honoured princesses while I~ …. the true princess has to wait on them. This time~ … I will have to make sure neither that tramp Myra nor her sister survives.’
