Chapter 3049: 3049. Celebration First

The elemental titan spirit body gave them a lot more uncomfortable feelings than excitement after they had begun to think about the point at which it had condensed mana when it was alive.

It also showed the obscene potential a spirit had.

Their versatility came from existing through and by mana. They also existed of mana.

Therefore, if anything changed in the balance then a spirit itself might become an elemental monster. Or it could become something intelligent yet also an elemental.

In different radical cases, then they might become something like the spirit plane that they had already seen. It was extremely rare but possible.

However, this was yet another example of the insane potential that a spirit had.

The word titan clearly came from the size and extreme density of mana within and making up the body. The fact that it had lasted over hundreds of years without being able to be properly fed on or broken down was a testament of that.

The further that Walker contemplated this, the more he realized that this form of spirit was also much more of a danger than he had realized.

When it was alive it had captured entire elemental planes causing them to be sealed and mostly destroyed. It had not actively done this though.

It had done this as a consequence of growing larger and more powerful. It had condensed its body around them making that part of it without any adverse effects at all.

He was looking at a spot where wind mana had cut through and shattered the stone body in a chaotic escape at some point not too long ago.

The stones had been converted in to extremely sharp blade like mana crystals that held wind and earth manas. Both manas keeping one another sharper.

It was like a strange balance of wind constantly flowing over a mountain making it pointed, but happening faster and more efficiently constantly.

"I think we should worry more about creatures like this than the intelligent ones at times. Creatures in the unknown like this are traveling in a view that they are not able to care about the smaller forms of life." Walker made this his stance.

He could consider the intelligent beings and do something about them. If they were strong enough to beat him, then that was that and he would fight nonetheless.

But something like this? He had no idea other than to become insanely overpowered to solve that issue. Even that would take a lot more time than he could understand right now.

Then again, was it a matter of strength in the normal terms?

Or should he look at what made up everything and build on that?

"Try to put this from your mind for now. We gathered some weird stones that we think have dark mana and water mana mixed together. Remey is calling them venom stones and they might be left over from a unique elemental plane that housed weirdly mixed manas."

"No, brother, look at the wood too!"

Walker was called away by Su before Midnight interrupted them right after Remey. But the sudden pulse of mana as it seemed to shake the body they were exploring for knowledge made them immediately drop every bit of curiosity and refocus on retreating.

Walker used space mana to attach everyone together before moving to where Gil was still in deep thought about his understanding of archer and te leven origins.

In the next moment, he had pulled them even further to the point that the massive body looked again like a breaking down elemental plane.

The massive amount of water mana that split from the body and appeared to encompass it for a moment before waves shot outwards had been partially ice. Condensed and trying to escape before it became water then waves of violent water mana.

The group easily protected themselves from it, but the new hole in the massive body proved to Walker that they should be leaving.

The risk here was clearly going to outweigh the benefits. Not to mention the new mana could and most likely would, attract more monsters.

"This is a good time to leave I would say."

"Agreed."

"Not worth the trouble, I agree."

Gil, Su, and Remey all had the same thought in mind and Walker was already using more space mana to move them.

They hadn’t necessarily fought major battles, but they had seen some very unique and perception altering things. The events and general feelings made a difference which was more important to them than finding material after material.

The sudden appearance of dense wind mana was their arrival in the wind elemental plane properly. They all braced but relaxed slightly having left behind the dangers of the outer elemental planes.

They saw the monsters right away too.

Not dangerous but present.

’Swift breeze butterfly

These butterflies exclusively live, breed, and feed on calm wind manas. If they ever stop flapping their wings slowly they will perish. It is the direct control of their flow of mana.

They will let their eggs float in the air absorbing mana. Their caterpillars will also consume wind mana while drifting in silk parachutes with the breeze.

They are extremely peaceful due to their nature. However, they do have distinct dangers associated with their wings.

Then they perish and their wings become very rigid while remaining light. Due to this their wings are known to become violent weapons accidentally carried by soft breezes...’

They all looked at the white and green pattern butterflies moving in peaceful circles and fluttered with barely a sound to it. But they also didn’t dwell since Walker was still teleporting them in bursts of mana.

He wanted to be closer to Genesis before he used one of the golem bodies as an anchor to teleport them all.

The difficulty before was enough that he felt more comfortable reducing the distance.

He was also absorbing more and more mana.

The celebration that was happening outside of the magic tower was not at all missing the magic of mages.

In particular, many young and new magic related class holders were showing off small skills and spells. Many were eager to learn from older mages or those with different understandings.

The guards and leaders of Genesis had gone fully in to preparing and setting up.

Tables, open booths, and even musicians with magical abilities were playing readily. Some were even related to the cathedral since the music they played often had healing effects.

The various representations of magic here were enough to immediately show anyone that there was a grand mystery to it. That the wonder of what kind of magic there could be out there unknown to them was always present.

Yet, even warriors who utilized their own mana were present. They knew very well that mana was part of everything and not just magic related spells or skills.

Besides this, the knowledge of what made up the world when it came to mana was more prevalent now. The existence of mixed and unique manas being the foundation of existence itself truly brought forth the understanding that magic was one way to manipulate the world itself.

However, as space mana fluctuated and one of Walker’s golem bodies in the sky flashed, everyone looked up at the party arriving.

Their sudden appearance added to the show of magic causing a small uproar of cheers before everyone reacted to more of what they were interested in.

"Home sweet home." The rest of the party was accepting of Walker using wind mana to keep them in the air and slowly let them down. But they were not feeling well enough knowing that the space mana moving them from such a distance shook up their stomachs.

This was a different kind of teleporting and it had some downsides.

Walker also felt the manas he carried with him reacting. He knew he could add the smaller elemental plane to the world now but it wasn’t the time. He would do that later when he had an ideal place for it to comfortably acclimate and bond with the world. Where it could do the most good.

"I am thinking we can enjoy the celebration. Then we can deal with what we learned and brought back. Gil, I know Alma was waiting for you to take her out to enjoy the atmosphere." Walker wasn’t subtle since one of his golem bodies had just been told that she was waiting for exactly that after Walker had told her they were returning.

With that, Su dragged Midnight off with Onyx also in tow. The three were going to be checking out all the food and magical chefs who had been making stir already.

Remey saw a familiar couple face from the alchemy guild and knew very well they had information about who might be demonstrating alchemy here.

Walker looked at the tower and knew very well he had someone to meet.
