“Jarvis… What is going on?”

“Sir, an unknown energy field is detected, repairing the armor and your body. The source of the energy field cannot be tracked.”

Tony froze, then he looked up, gazing into the distance toward Kamar-Taj. He couldn’t see exactly what was happening, but he could feel the source of that power.

Someone he knew.

“Mavuika…” he murmured.

Fury stood in front of the big screen in the command center, also feeling that layer of warm Fire covering his entire body.

His single eye narrowed as he watched the S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents being enveloped by the energy field. Some had wounds healing on their bodies, the fatigue on some faces was dissipating, and some who had fallen to the ground, thinking they were already dead, found themselves opening their eyes again.

“What is this now?” Fury’s voice was low, but devoid of fear.

No one could answer him.

Steve stood in the ruins, watching a wound on his arm healing rapidly, his brows furrowing slightly.

He had seen many supernatural phenomena, but never anything like this—as if someone were using their own power to cover the entire World.

Natasha and Clint Barton exchanged a glance. Natasha had run out of bullets, but at this moment, she felt her arms filled with strength.

Clint Barton touched a wound on his shoulder that had been scratched by shrapnel earlier; the bleeding had stopped, and the skin was healing at a visible rate.

“Is this… Mavuika’s power?” Clint Barton asked.

Natasha nodded. “It should be.”

Wanda stood at the edge of Times Square, dark red Chaos Magic flowing around her.

She could feel that golden Fire covering her entire body; it wasn’t scorching or Burning, only warm.

She closed her eyes, feeling the will contained within that power—a firm, protective, unyielding will.

“Mavuika…” she whispered.

Pietro stood beside her, also feeling that power. His speed instinct told him that his body felt lighter than before.

Hulk stood in the middle of a ruin, his green skin covered by that layer of golden Fire.

He didn’t roar, didn’t speak, just stood there feeling that power, his breathing slowly steadying.

Asgard.

Hela was patrolling the walls of the Golden Palace, watching the figures cleaning up the battlefield, when she suddenly felt a warm power cover her entire body. She was too familiar with it.

The Ode of Resurrection.

The corners of her mouth lifted slightly. It was a masterpiece she and Mavuika had completed together, the rules she had inscribed in the underworld for a millennium, the laws Mavuika had ignited with her own Fire.

She looked up into the distance toward Earth. She could feel that Mavuika was there, driving the rules of the Ode of Resurrection with her will.

The Valkyrie felt that power; the wounds on their bodies were healing, and the wings of their pegasi were regaining their luster.

The armor on the warriors of the Undead Legion was being repaired, and their bodies were becoming more solid, more real.

Fenrir raised its head and let out a long howl toward the sky. There was no hostility in the sound, only an instinctive response. It sensed the power of death and life intertwined, sensing an existence as powerful as its Master.

Hela stood on the wall, watching the gradually dimming cracks in the sky, watching the battlefields being cleared, a rare, almost gentle light in her eyes.

Kamar-Taj.

Golden Fire surged from the Akasha, enveloping the body of every mage. Those injured by the warship’s artillery fire found their wounds healing, those who had exhausted their magic found they had regained their power, and the exhausted found their spirits renewed.

The cracks in the shield were filled by the golden Fire, becoming even stronger.

Ebony Maw and Black Dwarf were pushed back a few steps by the impact of that Fire. Ebony Maw’s face turned ugly; he could feel the power within that Fire, a more fundamental law power that transcended ordinary magic.

Black Dwarf’s warhammer smashed against the shield; this time, the shield did not move at all.

Mavuika hovered a thousand meters in the air, golden Fire Burning around her, illuminating the entire sky.

Her voice pierced through space, through the barriers of the Nine Realms, and resounded in the minds of everyone covered by the Ode of Resurrection.

It was not a voice heard through the ears, but one that went straight into the depths of the soul, like the Sun itself speaking.

“In the name of Mavuika, the Sun Goddess, the Ode of Resurrection shall protect all life until the war ends!”

The voice was warm and firm, like a beam of light shining into everyone’s heart.

Civilians running on the streets of New York stopped in their tracks, looked up at the sky, and tears streamed down.

The Valkyrie, gasping for breath on the Asgard battlefield, gripped their spears tightly, their eyes reigniting with the will to fight.

The mages in the courtyard of Kamar-Taj, who were struggling to hold on, straightened their backs, and the speed of their hand seals increased.

Thanos stood on the battlefield, looking up at the golden figure hovering in the sky. For the first time, a trace of an emotion he had never felt before appeared in his dark eyes—solemnity.

He looked down at the Infinity Gauntlet in his hand; the light of the four gems was still brilliant, but that golden Fire covering the entire battlefield made him feel an unprecedented pressure.

This woman was much stronger than he had imagined.

Thanos clenched his fist, and the gems on the gauntlet shone with an even more dazzling light.

“Very well,” he said, “such an opponent is worthy of the power of the Infinity Stones.”

…

Tony looked up at the sky; the Chitauri warriors pouring out of the wormhole were still circling, diving, and firing.

But on the ground, the S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents and New York Police, who had originally been beaten back step by step, were now staring at the sky with a look he had never seen before—it was not fear, not fatigue, but excitement.

A young Agent, who had just had his shoulder pierced by a Chitauri energy beam, bleeding profusely, should have been placed on a stretcher and sent to the rear.

But at this moment, he stood up. The wound on his shoulder was healing, the bleeding had stopped, the skin had regrown, and not even a scar was left.

He looked down at his hand, then looked up and roared at the sky: “Come on! Come again!”

More people stood up from the ruins. Some had just been blown away by the blast wave of an explosion, slamming into a wall, breaking three ribs.

Some had their abdomens slashed open by the claws of Chitauri warriors, their intestines almost spilling out.

Some had been hit in the chest by energy beams, their hearts having stopped beating.

But now, they all stood up, their wounds healed, their breathing steady, and their eyes shining like two stars.
