Hearing America’s response, Homelander nodded and walked up to Strange.

"Strange."

Homelander’s expression was solemn, like an elder entrusting an important responsibility, "America is a poor girl. She has no one to lean on in this World, and she has suffered hardships that a girl of her age shouldn’t have to bear. You must take good care of her. Understand?"

Success!

Strange roared wildly in his heart.

The prey had finally been successfully snared, and the gates to the Multiverse were already open to him.

"I swear to you, Teacher!"

Strange immediately straightened his body and promised with absolute certainty, "I will use my life to protect her. I will definitely take good care of her, and I will never let any danger get within half a step of her."

"Very well."

Homelander smiled slightly and said in a slightly deep voice, "I believe you won’t let me down; you certainly wouldn’t want to see what I look like when I’m disappointed."

Strange’s heart suddenly contracted.

He forcefully suppressed the fear in his heart and pretended to be calm on the surface.

Right now, he didn’t want to stay for even a single second longer, and immediately raised his hand to draw a golden Portal circle in mid-air.

"Come with me, child."

Strange tried hard to flash a kindly smile at America.

America looked back at Homelander, and Homelander mouthed words of encouragement to her.

She smiled sweetly and nodded in response.

Afterwards, she waved goodbye to Homelander, Natasha, and Skye, and stepped into the Portal following Strange.

The sparks quickly gathered, and the room grew quiet once more.

Natasha, however, furrowed her brow, her gaze sharp as she stared at the spot where the Portal had vanished.

"I don’t like that mage."

Natasha spoke bluntly.

In her long career as an Agent, she had met countless people and possessed an almost instinctive intuition for danger and lies.

"Anthony, you should reconsider."

Natasha looked at Homelander with a serious expression, "My intuition has always been very accurate; it has saved my life countless times. That Strange... gives me a very wrong feeling."

Skye also chimed in in agreement, "I think so too. The way he looked at that girl makes me feel very uncomfortable."

"He is hiding a secret."

Natasha made her judgment, "He took that girl away, and it is definitely not as simple as he claims. Do you want me to check his recent movements right away?"

After listening to Natasha’s analysis, the smile on Homelander’s face remained unchanged.

"Thank you for your concern, Natasha."

He gently patted Natasha’s arm, "But I trust my disciple."

"But..."

Natasha still wanted to persuade him, but the moment she locked eyes with Homelander’s seemingly bewitching eyes, her heart couldn’t stop pounding wildly.

She hurriedly looked away, swallowing back the dissuasion that had reached her lips.

Alright, since Homelander had said so, it wasn’t her place to persist.

After all, this man had never made a mistake.

...

Earth 616 Universe.

She had been searching for a full day and two nights.

Scarlet Wanda’s mood was terrible.

She had already lost America’s trace.

No matter how she probed Chaos Magic into the cracks of the Universe, she couldn’t find a shred of that girl’s aura.

"Why can’t I find her?!"

Wanda roared angrily, her violent magic energy losing control and blasting the surrounding trees into pieces.

"Why can’t I perceive her existence anymore?!"

Wanda irritably grabbed the darkhold in front of her.

She knew that relying solely on her own blind search was of no use.

"Tell me, guide me."

Wanda’s pale fingers stroked the dark-colored book cover, "How to find that girl, tell me the path to my children’s side."

The darkhold seemed to understand her plea.

Circles of red magic arrays emerged from the pages once more, accompanied by a whisper.

Dark red mist permeated from the pages, rolling continuously in mid-air.

Finally, the mist outlined a clear figure; it was a woman.

Wanda stared intently at that figure.

But when she saw the woman’s appearance clearly, Wanda froze.

Because that woman’s face was identical to hers.

"What does this mean?"

Wanda furrowed her brow, a trace of confusion flashing in her eyes.

Why would the direction pointed by the darkhold be herself?

She leaned closer, observing the details in the image more carefully.

Soon, she discovered something unusual.

That "Wanda" in the image looked younger than her, and there was no lingering sorrow in her eyes.

More importantly, the "Wanda" in the image was not wearing the familiar red robe she knew, but rather a Kamar-Taj mage robe.

This was a variant of her from another Universe? A Kamar-Taj mage?

In these countless Multiverses, countless possibilities existed.

She had seen variants living ordinary family lives, variants turned into centaurs, and even a Speedster Wanda variant.

But a variant who joined Kamar-Taj to learn mystic arts was something she was seeing for the first time.

However, the darkhold would definitely not display this image for no reason.

Wanda seemed to understand.

America’s trace was shielded by some kind of force, causing her to be unable to track and locate it.

However, the soul resonance between variants could not be completely cut off!

Perhaps the darkhold was telling her: if the route to find that girl didn’t work, then change to another path.

Finding this variant, there must be a way to go to that Universe!

"You can’t escape, little mouse."

Wanda looked at the dissipating image in mid-air and said softly.

She stepped back a few paces and came to an open space.

Wanda raised her hands, and red Chaos Magic gushed out from her body.

She changed her casting direction.

No longer searching for that illusory star-energy girl, but instead beginning to search the vast network of the Multiverse for the "herself" carrying the Kamar-Taj aura.

The red magic array spun frantically beneath her feet, her consciousness crossing countless planes and eliminating tens of millions of interference signals.

Finally, she felt a faint resonance.

That was a soul fluctuation of the same origin.

"Found you!"

Wanda suddenly increased her magic output, and the red Chaos Magic surged straight toward the dome.

Space twisted.

An illusory spiritual body slowly condensed and formed ahead.

As soon as this spiritual body landed, it immediately retreated alertly.

She looked at the gloomy, terrifying forest filled with a thick, evil aura, her brow furrowed tightly.

She was originally just looking for a way home in an unknown dimension, when she was suddenly dragged here by an irresistible, massive suction force.

But when she discovered the woman in front of her, she suddenly froze in place.

Because she saw herself.

Herself, wearing a dark red robe, wearing a Strange crown, and exuding an ominous aura all over.
