“So what, Chu Feng? You might have inflicted pain on me, but I’m still standing perfectly unscathed here. Are you able to kill me? If you want to play, I can continue playing with you until your bloodline power dissipates,” the old entity said.

“Aren’t you forgetting something?”

“Did you forget that I’m a world spiritist as well? You are only unkillable because of this formation, but all formations are bound to have a weakness. Why do you think I allowed you to absorb my powers earlier?”

The old entity’s face turned severe. He realized that the situation was worse than he had imagined.

“Your formation allows you to siphon life force from the eight galaxies, but the siphoning speed is slow. The rate of siphoning is the same for everyone trapped inside the formation, regardless of their cultivation level or age.

“I found a starfield in the Seven Realms Galaxy that is devoid of life, but life force continues to flow from there into you. I’m guessing that you have buried treasures that surpass those in other galaxies there. That is where your formation core is,” Chu Feng said.

The old entity could no longer retain his composure.

Chu Feng had allowed the old entity to siphon his power away so that he could track the old entity’s flow of power. The deduction he had made based on that information was on the mark. The core of the colossal formation was indeed in that starfield.

“Hehehe...” The old entity laughed. “No wonder Jie Tianran suffered so much in your hands. You are indeed a cunning one. Yes, you’re right. The formation core is in the Seven Realms Galaxy. But so what if you have seen through that? Can you destroy the formation core from here, the Bloodline Galaxy?”

He formed a hand seal, and his spirit power flowed like a tide to envelop the surroundings. Humongous interweaving chains appeared out of thin air, completely isolating the area around Chu Feng from the rest of the world.

It was a powerful sealing formation, far stronger than the statues that had trapped Chu Feng earlier. It would have been nigh impossible to construct such a complicated formation on the spot; the old entity must have prepared it beforehand.

“Cough cough cough...” The old entity violently coughed out blood.

“It must have strained you to construct that formation,” Chu Feng remarked. He could still see the old entity through the chains.

“Constructing a formation of this caliber is bound to take a toll on anyone, but it’ll be worth it if I can trap you within. Chu Feng, why don’t you see if you can still reach me?”

The old entity looked at Chu Feng with calm and confident eyes despite coughing blood. He was certain that his sealing formation would stop Chu Feng from reaching him, though it was not as if Chu Feng could kill him anyway.

Chu Feng chuckled before closing his eyes. He wasn’t worried about the old entity making a move on him as the latter had devoted all his strength to channeling the sealing formation.

The old entity’s intention was clear—he wanted to drag things out until Chu Feng’s bloodline rampage ended. With that, he would be the victor.

Chu Feng immersed his consciousness into his World Spirit Space. He turned to the Asura Sword and sharply declared, “Asura Sword, you can either be mine now or leave my body.”

“Are you threatening me right now?” the Asura Sword asked.

“I don’t dare to do so. I’m sure you have your reasons for remaining in my body, and I won’t probe about that. However, I need your power now. Please lend me your power,” Chu Feng said.

“Good. I like to hear those words. You are already cornered, so there’s no point talking to you about the backlash. I’ll borrow that lass’s words. Show that hideous old monster outside what we’re capable of. Otherwise, he might just think that he’s some bigshot,” the Asura Sword said.

A spirit formation gate appeared above the Asura Sword.

The old entity opened his arms and roared. The rate at which life force flowed from the eight galaxies toward the old entity accelerated.

The Asura Sword lightly jolted, and a powerful surge of black aura gushed outward.

The sealing formations’ chains immediately glowed brightly, forming multiple layers of barriers. But the barriers and the chains were too weak to stop the Asura Sword’s black aura. In fact, the chains that came into contact with the black aura even melted.

“This power?” The old entity’s confidence also melted away.

Even those outside noticed the change in the situation.
