There was nothing left to do but to stake his all on this.

“Hahahaha!” The old entity laughed heartily. “What are you doing, Chu Feng? Did you fuse with your world spirit as a symbol of love? Are the two of you planning to die together?”

He remained as confident as ever, but it didn’t take long for his smile to fade. He noticed some changes in Chu Feng’s body.

The lightning in Chu Feng’s eyes was no longer red and blue but nine-colored. His Lightning Mark, Lightning Armor, Lightning Wings, and Lightning Aura had vanished, but the nine-colored lightning around him crackled with greater fervor than ever. It was as if Chu Feng himself had become the embodiment of the nine-colored lightning.

Then, a terrifying aura gripped the surrounding space. It was neither oppressive might nor killing intent, but it made the old entity’s heart pound, and his eyes quivered in unease.

The aura was coming from none other than Chu Feng. A black aura had seeped out from him and enveloped his body, weaving perfectly with the nine-colored lightning. Ironically, he looked more like a demonic god than the old entity siphoning the life force from the eight galaxies.

Chu Feng wouldn’t be able to protect Sikong Changsheng while fighting the old entity, so the best option for him was to go into hiding. Naturally, the safest place for him to be right now was Chu Feng’s spatial formation.

“Here, elder.” Chu Feng opened his palm, where his spatial formation was hidden.

“Be careful, Chu Feng,” Sikong Changsheng said before entering the spatial formation.

The spirit power protecting Chu Feng vanished. Chu Feng was now exposed to the old entity.

“Very well, Chu Feng. I shall see what your double bloodline rampage is worthy.”

The old entity waved his sleeve. The hundred-thousand-meter-tall statues raised their staffs and unleashed light beams at Chu Feng, turning the sealing formation into a slaughter formation.

In response, Chu Feng whipped out his Lightning Flame Sword and casually swung it.

Chu Feng smashed the hilt of his Lightning Flame Sword into the old entity’s face.

The impact mashed up the old entity’s face, and his teeth shattered. His body convulsed due to sheer pain.

“You bastard, Chu Feng! You placed a formation on your hilt!” the old entity cursed.

The colossal formation should have protected the old entity from sustaining damage from normal attacks. That was how he had emerged unscathed from Song Changsheng’s attacks even though they were strong enough to obliterate him under normal circumstances. He was even able to absorb the energy behind the attacks and direct them back at Song Changsheng, eventually forcing the latter to escape.

It was for that reason that he remained fearless despite having fallen into Chu Feng’s grasp.

But Chu Feng saw through that. It also helped that his bloodline rampage had made his spirit power stronger than ever. So he constructed a formation on the Lightning Flame Sword’s hilt to remove the old entity’s immunity to pain, causing the latter to vividly feel every strike landing on his face.

And much to the old entity’s despair, he couldn’t escape from Chu Feng at all. He could only obediently take the beating.
