His face was covered in sweat, and his pupils were dilated.

Eggy had a good grasp of Chu Feng, having been with him since their time in the Nine Provinces Continent. He had always remained calm no matter how precarious their situation was. It was rare for him to show such an expression.

“I’m fine. It’s over now.” Chu Feng squeezed out a smile to not worry Eggy.

“What happened, Chu Feng?” the Divine Deer asked.

It could use its powers now, but earlier, the golden-haired woman had sealed off its abilities. This was testament to the golden-haired woman’s terrifying prowess. Since she had displayed her malice, there was no way she would be so kind-hearted as to let him go.

Something must have happened.

“That entity attempted to possess my body and steal my treasures, but my bloodline power fought her off. I don’t know if she is dead or if she has only left. Hold on, let me ask about it.”

Chu Feng knew that the roar inside his dantian earlier had come from the red lightning beast. He projected his consciousness back into his dantian world, and he was awed once more when he saw the red lightning beast’s massive physique.

He knew how powerful his lightning beasts were. Other entities who entered his dantian world before the golden-haired woman suffered terrible plights.

However, the golden-haired woman was different. He could tell that she was in an entirely different class. Yet, an entity of her caliber couldn’t do much against his lightning beasts, either.

“Thank you, elder.” Chu Feng bowed to the red lightning beast.

He had felt powerless before the golden-haired woman’s prowess and panicked earlier. He might have reached pinnacle True God level, but he knew that the ‘god’ in his cultivation rank was merely just a name and was not true godhood.

But Chu Feng remained worried. Many questions floated in his mind.

The water inside the pool resembles the legendary Immortal Sea. Was it the Immortal Sea’s remnant power, or did that woman steal it from the Immortal Sea?

Or does it have nothing to do with the Immortal Sea at all, and is it just energy the woman gathered through her vile formation, just that it resembles the Immortal Sea?
