Chapter 783: Chapter 390: Divinity Transformation Rules; The Final System Update (3)

The Ring Spirit called this a Soul Body.

Therefore, creating life is the process of creating a Soul Body. Once a Soul Body comes into being, it has no fixed form.

The kind of life form it creates depends on the non-living matter it combines with.

Plants, animals, insects, microorganisms, and so on.

After understanding the principles of the Creation Space, Cheng Yang finally grasped the fundamentals of life: instinctual rules!

Humans are an embodiment of these three rules!

Yin Yang balances the body’s state, cause and effect drives our behavior, and contradiction creates instinctual inertia.

Thus, everything people do every day is purposeful, and this purposefulness is a manifestation of cause and effect. To resist this cause and effect is a manifestation of contradiction.

The conflict between cause and effect and contradiction leads to intense thought.

’Why not do it? Why do it? Why not do it that way? Why do it that way...’ It’s an endless resistance.

This continues until the mind becomes chaotic, leading to a certain phenomenon: ’Who am I? Where am I? What am I supposed to do?’

This is known as a state of chaos. Well, in layman’s terms, your brain turns to mush, or you could say it crashes.

To put it more bluntly: you’ve gone mad.

And don’t madmen affect their surroundings?

"Ring Spirit, that’s one hell of an explanation," Cheng Zongyang remarked.

However, based on his own understanding, Cheng Zongyang thought, ’This energy probably manifests at the genetic level.’

Genes determine a person’s future.

Modifying and enhancing genes in a technological world would be the equivalent of altering energy points and increasing energy strength.

It was different methods achieving the same brilliant result.

Having been taught a valuable lesson, Cheng Zongyang felt he had gained a lot.

Next was the Reincarnation Space.

It wasn’t much different from what he had initially guessed. It was, in essence, the Reincarnation of Soul Bodies. But it also had other functions.

Such as inheriting and sealing memories, and rewinding and predicting time.

Soul Body Reincarnation is the recovery and recycling of Energy Bodies. They can be cleansed of impurities, reshaped, and later transformed into other life forms.

A simpler explanation would be: cleansing impurities is drinking Meng Po Soup; reshaping is becoming a new Soul Body; and other life forms means being reborn through the Six Paths of Reincarnation.

Cheng Zongyang could determine all of this, as long as he paid the required Points.

The second feature: inheriting and sealing memories.

Before a Soul Body enters Reincarnation, the Reincarnation Space can choose to preserve some or all of its important memories. These memories can be awakened at the appropriate time, bringing special advantages or a unique purpose to the Soul Body’s new life.

Simultaneously, the Reincarnation Space can also seal painful or dangerous memories to protect the Soul Body from the influence of its past in its new life.

This is equivalent to being born with memories of a past life. In layman’s terms, the Meng Po Soup was watered down.

For certain special Soul Bodies, the Reincarnation Space can perform in-depth mining and analysis of their memories. By interpreting the memory fragments within a Soul Body, one can uncover past histories and secrets.

This Ability is similar to the Soul Realm function of the Soul Gathering Stele, but the Reincarnation Space’s version is more comprehensive and offers more room for manipulation.

The third feature: rewinding and predicting time.

The Reincarnation Space possesses a certain ability to rewind time.

Under specific conditions, Cheng Zongyang can enter the Reincarnation Space, inhabit a Soul Body, and witness past events and history.

It’s akin to transmigration and possession, allowing him to see things from the perspective of the Soul Body’s original owner to observe the surroundings, solve mysteries, or find things.

In simple terms, he can go back to the past to get things done.

The Reincarnation Space can also make a certain degree of future predictions based on a Soul Body’s existing trajectory and path of fate. While these predictions aren’t absolutely accurate, they can serve as a reference.

Cheng Zongyang now fully understood these two new functions.

But what the Ring Spirit meant was that these two functions were prepared specifically for him.
