He had no idea who filmed the video. It was so crowded today, he couldn’t have known.

But now, everyone recognized his family of four, clear as day.

Not only that, but Yvonne Evans’s and Dylan Evans’s personal information—even the school and class Dylan Evans attended—had been doxxed.

The family was exposed so thoroughly by netizens they had nothing left to hide.

Normally, Maya Evans could keep things under wraps. After all, she lived in her own home—a huge mansion, no less. Other people had no idea what she really did, and neither did her relatives back home.

But now, that was all over. With how fast things spread online, she had become infamous in an instant!

Anne Sutton had just returned home with Ian. Before she’d even finished parking the car, Mrs. Sutton called. "Anne, you need to get online, quickly."

Anne asked, "What’s wrong?"

"Just take a look!"

Anne Sutton unlocked her phone and saw the video online. She watched as people viciously tore into her father’s family, the outrage even extending to the hotel they were staying at and the restaurants they’d eaten in...

Everywhere they went, people cursed them out.

No one held back.

Anne Sutton laughed when she saw this. "Who could have done this?"

’Was it one of the customers from today?’

Anne forwarded the video to Nathan Fawcett and asked, "You did this?"

"It wasn’t me," Nathan Fawcett said. "But whoever did it, did a beautiful job."

"Then it must have been a random bystander."

Nathan took a look and replied a moment later, "I checked. It was posted from Mrs. Chase’s account. My mom must have told her to do it!"

"Huh?" Anne was genuinely surprised. "Why don’t you call and ask? Was it really your mom?"

Her opinion of Anna Linden had already improved significantly over the past couple of days, and now it was even better!

"I’ll ask her then," Nathan said.

Anne led Ian inside.

After a short wait, Nathan messaged back, "It was her. She admitted it!"

...

That afternoon, Mrs. Sutton was completely swamped at her restaurant.

Because the story had blown up online, tons of people came to eat at her restaurant. They all felt so bad for her and wanted to show their support.

Compared to how Sean Sutton’s family was being treated, the public’s reception of Mrs. Sutton was like night and day.

Anne took a nap with Ian at home, then returned to the restaurant to help out. Mrs. Sutton wouldn’t let her, saying, "What are you doing here? You don’t need to do any of this."

She had opened the restaurant because she wanted something to do for herself!

She couldn’t possibly let it be a burden to Anne!

Besides, Anne’s hands were for saving lives and performing surgeries. She couldn’t let her daughter tire them out.

Anne looked at her mother. "I just saw how swamped you are here."

"It’s fine," Mrs. Sutton said. "It’s just extra crowded today!"

Once Anna Linden was done with her work, she came over as well.

When Anne saw her, she greeted her, "Dr. Linden."

Anna Linden surveyed the crowd. "So bustling in here?"

Anne said, "I heard from Nathan that you were the one who posted those videos?"

"I had Chloe Chase post it." Anna didn’t deny it. "Beating him up would have been letting him off too easy! Seeing what a shameless bastard he is, I decided to have the video posted online! This will keep them from coming back here to cause trouble! A scumbag like that doesn’t deserve a moment of peace. You should drain him for all he’s worth!"

Not only did it get his whole family flamed online, but it also made Mrs. Sutton’s restaurant go viral.

When it comes to eating out, one place is as good as another for most people.

But if you add a bit of juicy gossip they’re eager to hear, the effect is totally different! It’s better than any advertisement.

Anne said, "You’re incredible!"

She was truly in awe of Anna Linden right now.

’She really is the woman I used to admire!’

Anna Linden glanced at her. "Go help your mother."

The restaurant was so busy that they didn’t get home until very late.

Lying in bed, Anne scrolled through the videos on her phone.

By now, Sean Sutton and his family were getting flamed so hard they were holed up in their hotel, too scared to show their faces.

They were planning to leave the very next day!

He had originally planned to stay in Veridia for a couple more days, since he still wanted to find Anne, but now...

With things as they were, he felt that if he didn’t leave, he’d eventually be drowned by the public’s outrage.

Nathan asked, "Not sleeping?"

Anne said, "I was just thinking, your mom can be pretty great sometimes."

Nathan looked at her. "I’m so happy to hear you say that! So... are you willing to marry me now?"

Anne looked at him, a slight smile playing on her lips. "Do we really need to get caught up in the details? It doesn’t seem that important."

"That won’t do!" Nathan insisted. "I won’t be able to rest easy until we make it official."

"You’re going to be the death of me! The great Head of the Linden Family, what kind of status are you looking for?"

Nathan said, "That way, you’ll be mine, and no one else can try to steal you away!"

"Stop being ridiculous!" Anne gazed at the man, the corners of her lips turning up in a smile.

Nathan leaned in, wrapped his arms around her, and his lips met hers.

...The next morning, Anne dragged herself out of bed, her body aching all over. She cursed Nathan under her breath as she got dressed.

She had taken the day off yesterday, but she had to go to the hospital today.

Nathan watched her. "Do you want me to drive you to the hospital?"

"No, thanks." Anne glanced at him. "It’s too much of a hassle to drive back and forth. You should just go straight to your office."

"You’re sure you don’t need a ride?" Nathan asked, watching her.

Anne just shot him a glare and ignored him.

Just then, Nathan’s phone rang. He glanced at the screen before answering. "Grandfather."

Anne froze when she heard him say that.

Anne and Nathan had both been so happy about Anna Linden’s change of heart these past two days.

She had almost forgotten that he even had a grandfather!

Nathan quickly stepped outside to take the call.

Watching his back, Anne felt a wave of anxiety.

By the time she finished dressing and came out, Nathan was already off the phone.

Anne asked, "What’s wrong?"

Nathan said, "My grandfather is coming back. He wants me to pick him up from the airport later."

Hearing this, Anne asked, "Now that you’ve changed your name to Nathan Fawcett and taken over the Linden Family, he’s not going to give you trouble, is he?"

Even though Anna Linden has agreed to it, that’s her father! Her approval probably doesn’t count for much.

"We’ll see tonight," Nathan said. "I’ll call you then."

"Okay," Anne said.

...

That evening, Nathan took Butler Walters to the airport to pick up his grandfather. When they arrived, Ryan Linden and Noah Linden were already there.

Seeing Nathan approach, Ryan sneered, "You actually dare to show your face!"

Butler Walters shot him a look. "If you dare to be here, why can’t the Family Head?"

"Family Head? Is he even worthy?" Ryan scoffed. "He’s just a bastard from the Fawcett family. His surname isn’t even Linden! It’s only because Aunt Anna has lost her mind that he was allowed back into the Linden Group! As soon as Grandfather gets back, Nathan Fawcett will be the first one kicked out of the company."

Noah Linden looked at Nathan Fawcett. "Nathan."

His tone was much gentler than Ryan’s. He said to Nathan, "Don’t worry. I’ll put in a good word for you with our granduncle about the company matters!"

Ryan glared at him. "Why are you sticking up for him? You’re such a disappointment."
