Chapter 333 - 333: Ch 333: Leaning About the Organisations

Weiss soon brought her to the mansion where everyone was staying. Before bringing the magus lady in, Weiss had made a quick trip inside and had already told Elise, Sakura and Frank to prepare some of their best food and they had been doing exactly that.

So as soon as lady Sera came in, she was immediately served something that she had never seen before. Even the ingredients were different from what she had seen in the previous restaurant.

The person who was serving her food was Elise. Weiss was still keeping Sakura away from anyone related a magi as she had no idea how they were going to react to her peculiar talent. Without learning about it beforehand, Weiss was unwilling to take any kind of risk.

The first dish was made using a monster meat and several herbs and spices were used which could only be found in the Brightshine kingdom. So Weiss was confident that this dish could not be found in this region and would be able to satisfy this gluttonous lady.

And her guess was actually correct. Sera was very satisfied with her food. And the amount that she was served, it was perfectly what she liked. So not only the food but the service was also top notch.

So while putting more and more tasty meat in her mouth, Sera smiled and asked Weiss what she wanted to know about. And the very first question that Weiss asked was about the three organisations.

Hearing this question, Sera could not help but laugh. Then while still continuing to eat the meat, she asked Weiss in teasing voice why was she asking this question to her while knowing that she was from one of the three organisations and was definitely biased toward the Kremsaw Society.

To this question, Weiss told her that as she knew almost nothing about these organisations, even the biased information would be very usefull to her.

Hearing this, Sera smiled again and started to tell her. First she told Weiss about the Shadow Crevice Mountain.

This was the oldest among the organisations here with rank 3 magi as their strongest.

In their peak, this organisation actually had a rank 5 grand magus in charge and the founder of this organisation was a famous rank 4 grand magus.

So, currently this organisation was in a decline.

But even a dying camel was extremely valuable. So even though their current situation was a bit troublesome, the foundation of this organisation was still extremely solid.

That was why, even though she was member of a different organisation, she would actually recommend Shadow Crevice Mountain to some people. And even though the name of this organisation had shadow and the dark element was their speciality, there collection and knowledge for other elements was not bad at all.

But after giving this organisation a lot of praise, she said a "but" and stopped. The meat dish that she was served, it was already finished.

Elise did not waste any time and immediately brought out the next dish.

It was a soup made with six types of vegetables and three types of meat. A rare wine was also used in the cooking process.

So this was definitely an amazing high class dish. And just tasting a little bit of this proved this fact to Sera. So her mood became even more pleasant than before and she continued speaking.

She told that even though the foundation of the Shadow Crevice Mountain was solid, there was very clear reason behind their current decline. And it was internal politics.

This organisation was divided into three main factions and all three of them hated one another immensely.

This kind of civil war like situation was not really an uncommon thing in an organisation. Specially for one which had several powerful families in it.

But the civil war happening in the Shadow Crevice Mountain was exceptionally brutal. So much so that bloodshed was very common. Even if two people were from the same organisation, if they belonged to different factions, they would try to kill one another in every opportunity.

Hearing this, Weiss fell into feel thought. As the Shadow Crevice Mountain have a deep foundation, they also must have a vast knowledge source. So this was an ideal place for Weiss.

But if this place was really this bad, then there was a high possibility that the knowledge was also scattered and divided. In that case, it would not be of much use to Weiss.

And she was looking for a calm and peaceful place to learn, test and experiment with magic. So having a chaotic and unstable place like the Shadow Crevice Mountain as her home was not a good thing.

Weiss was still planning to varify this information from other sources but her perception so far had told Weiss that Sera was not lying at all.

So the chance of this information being false or at least completely false was low.

As Weiss was thinking this, Sera took a large gulp of the hot soup and continued.

"One of the most important thing about the organisations is their strongest person. Having someone really powerful is extremely important for the survival of an organisation in the our world.

The Shadow Crevice Mountain have not one but three rank 3 magi which is a good thing. But among the three, one is basically on death's door and the other two are quite old too.

As for the younger generation, there are a few promising talents with the chance of reaching the rank of 3 but this number was lower than what would be expected of an organisation of this size."

Saying this much, Sera did not speak anymore and just smiled teasingly. She knew that Weiss was extremely intelligent and she would definitely understand that Sera was telling Weiss indirectly that the Shadow Crevice Mountain was slowly but surely dying.

And she was correct. Weiss completely understood what she was trying to say. But now was not the time to make any decisions. As she needed to know about the other two organisations first.

So as Elise brought out the next dish, Weiss eagerly waited for Sera to tell her more.
