Chapter 320 - 320: Ch 320: Meeting with the Ryukan City Lord

The city lord of Ryukan, Ushida had a habit of playing with his pet rabbits after waking up in the morning. This way, he was always able to start his day in a good mood.

But on this certain day, when he went to do exactly that, beside the cage where his beloved rabbits lived, he found a letter.

With the kind of person he was, there was no way Ushida was going to forget a letter here. So there was only two possibilities why it was here. Either one of his servant had put it here who was in charge of cleaning the cage and feeding the rabbits. Or, someone from outside had sneaked in to do this.

But Ushida was unwilling believe the second option. Their was no way he could believe that someone could enter this place which was located in the deepest depths of his extremely well guarded mansion without any of the guards noticing. He was very certain that one of his servant was responsible for this.

But still, with some worry, he opened the letter and immediately his eyes widened in suprise. The content of this letter was just that insane.

So he immediately burned it away. Then he suddenly left the room without even playing the with the cute rabbits. He was not in the mood for that after seeing the letter.

After about an hour had passed, Ushida found himself in a remote corner of his own city. Currently, with how busy the city of Ryukan had been, people were overflowing here. So finding a place like this in such a situation was actually quite impressive.

As for the reason why the great city lord had came here while completely disguising himself with a dirty black cloak, the reason was very simple. He was told to come here.

In the mysterious letter that he had gotten this morning, this place was mentioned as a meeting spot. Even though everything about that letter was extremely suspicious, the things written in it were so important that he could not miss this opportunity even though there was a high possibility that everything written on the letter was fake.

Currently, the biggest problem that his city was suffering in the recent prosperous time was the sudden arrival of quite a few extremely powerful bandit groups.

With how busy his soldiers were in maintaining the law and order of the city, they were currently unable to move. He had asked the dark organizations of his city for help but even though they were always replaying to him positively, actually they were not listening to him at all and were not doing any work.

So Ushida was actually extremely worried about the situation. And while he was trying his best to think of a solution, he suddenly got this letter.

As for what was written there, the sender of the letter had supposedly taken care of all the bandits and they also have clear proofs about their identities.

Ushida was very sure that these bandits were somehow someway getting support from his enemies. So if this party actually have clear proof about their identities, then there was no way Ushida could miss his opportunity to get his hands on that.

While thinking about all this, as he was waiting, suddenly someone dressed very similarly to him appear before him and even before Ushida could register what was happening, he was caught by this person and was taken away.

Ushida was a mid level knight and he definitely was not weak by any means. But before the person who had suddenly captured him, he actually felt powerless.

But fortunately, he did not have to feel this way for too long. After only a few minutes had passed, Ushida was freed and was put down on the ground.

While being carried, he had very clearly understood that he was powerless against someone like this. If this person wanted to kill him, they could have done so without him even realising that he was in danger.

That was why, even after he was brought to an unfamiliar place, Ushida managed to keep his calm and did not start panicking.

He looked around and found that he was inside a house. And this location did not look like some kind of jail. Instead, it was a decently well built reception room.

While Ushida was checking this room out, the person who had captured him took her hood off. And immediately, the face of a super beautiful foreign lady with dazzling golden hair appeared before him.

He was surprised to see that the person who had captured him was this beautiful. But once again, he displayed his qualities as a decent leader and manage to get back to his senses all on his own.

Then, he lightly bowed his head and greeted the lady before him with respect. Even though he was brought here forcefully, he showed no sign of holding any grudge regarding that.

Elise also greeted him with a slight but beautiful smile and then the door of this room opened. From there, four more people came in.

Two among them were ladies and the other two were men. And after seeing the face of one among these four, Ushida made a dumbfounded experience.

And the person in question was obviously Sakura. As a decently powerful noble, Ushida had interacted with Sakura's father in quite a few occasions. And even though Sakura had spoken to him very rarely, it looked like he still remembered her face.

But before he could ask her anything, Ushida was stunned after seeing Weiss. She was just that beautiful and mind blowing. And this time, even his noble practice was not enough to break his stunned state.

So Elise snapped her finger with a gentle smile still on her face and that sound finally made Ushida to come back to his senses. And immediately after that, he bowed and apologised for being distracted.

Weiss did not mind that at all and asked him to take a seat. There was a tea table in the room surrounded by sofas and Ushida did what Weiss told him to do and sat down on one of the sofas.

Them everyone else present in the room also took the seats and finally the meeting between these two sides was going to start soon.
