"...I feel like suffocating just breathing the same air as my supervisor at work. Do you think I’d dare to pursue her? Her personality is just... If it weren’t for the high salary, I’d have quit long ago. It’s torture every single day."

"There’s a reason why some people are unwanted."

"It’s not like no one wants her. I think even a vegetative patient could barely endure the supervisor’s torment. If they can’t, then it would require a medical miracle."

The two chatted a bit more, finished their cigarettes, and finally left. Only after they were gone did Ash turn his gaze back to Vishi. Vishi’s face was dark; she clearly recognized which subordinate had bad-mouthed her and would surely seek revenge later.

"Don’t mind them," Ash gently hugged her and whispered, "Neither of us is wanted."

Vishi couldn’t help but let out a chuckle, glancing at Ash with mock annoyance. She hummed proudly, pinched Ash’s waist, "I wasn’t bothered at all!"

"Let’s go out," Ash said, "I’ve understood your feelings."

"And you..." Vishi raised her head intending to ask more, but she was met with Ash’s bright eyes and a faint smile on his lips. Words were left unspoken.

Understanding dawned on her. She pursed her lips, hugged Ash briefly, then suddenly pinched his cheek hard and snatched back the gift, "Not giving it to you!"

Ash was both amused and annoyed. After leaving the restroom with her, Vishi suddenly unwrapped the gift and stuffed a piece of chocolate into his mouth.

Sweet, rich, with a hint of alcohol—liquor-filled chocolate.

"Is it tasty?"

"Delicious."

"If you say you want it now, I might consider—"

"I want it," Ash reached out with a smile, "Miss Vishi, would you give me this Valentine’s Day chocolate?"

Vishi seemed surprised by his reaction, hesitated slightly, then bit her lip and looked at him with a complex expression.

"Take it," she stuffed the gift back into Ash’s hands, then leaned in and pointed at the corner of his mouth, "You’re a mess eating it, look..."

She leaned in, kissed the corner of Ash’s mouth, then turned and left without looking back, fleeing like she was running away.

Ash stood dumbfounded for a few seconds, sighed lightly, then turned around to see Diya rushing over and pulling him away.

"What’s going on?"

"No time to explain, just come with me!"

Ash was dragged to Diya’s office, watching in confusion as she started a video conference, and his expression quickly changed from puzzled to shocked.

"Let me introduce you; these are my three sisters, respectively White, Black, and Red," Diya pointed at the three on the screen, "I also have a younger sister, but she’s not relevant today, so I won’t introduce her."

"Hello," Ash greeted, unable to help but ask, "Are you quadruplets?"

The four sisters on screen looked identical, with only differences in hair color and aura. White was composed and elegant, Black was calm and polite, Red was wild and focused, while Diya was lively and cheerful—a stark contrast among the four, visible only because Ash knew they were four distinct individuals. Before Diya explained, Ash almost saw no difference between them!

"Yes, isn’t it amazing?" Diya formed a hand gesture with pride, "If we stood together, you’d surely think I know the Clone Technique!"

"It’s impressive," Ash nodded, "But why did you rush me here?"

"I have something to tell you," Diya paused, "Actually, the job I’m doing now is run by the four of us sisters together."

"Huh?"

"Here’s the thing: White is doing her Ph.D., Black is in a band, and Red is an extreme sports influencer. But their jobs don’t cover living expenses, and coincidentally, I’m quite lazy, so the four of us share Aurora’s job, rotating weekly. Although the salary is split four ways, we can rest for 25 days a month and focus more on our hobbies."

Ash listened, dumbfounded, taking several seconds to process the complex information. He took a deep breath and asked, "Why are you telling me this now?"

Diya exchanged glances with her sisters on the screen, opened a drawer, and pulled out a large bag of gifts, "This is the Valentine’s Day chocolate we made together."

Ash took it, bewildered, responded with uncertainty, "...Thank you?"

"Ash, don’t you get it?" Diya emphasized, "This chocolate is from the four of us sisters!"

"Yes, I know, and then?"

"You still don’t get it!" Diya said anxiously, "The Lissdia you know is a common image of us four sisters!"

"So if you pursue me, you’ll have four girlfriends!"

Ash was astounded, "Do opportunities like this exist!?"

"Of course, it’s temporary," Diya said, "Just like how the four of us rotate to go to work, we can also take turns being your girlfriend until you realize who you genuinely like—and then they will willingly step back."

As Diya spoke, she pressed the mute button on the computer as if ignoring the furious expressions of her sisters in the video conference, wanting to jump out and beat her up. She looked at Ash somewhat nervously, "I’m sorry for deceiving you for so long, do you hate me?"

"Of course not; I’m just a bit surprised," Ash scratched his head, "Paying one salary to hire four people—I can’t tell if the company is losing or gaining..."
