Mage Manual

Chapter 1866: Final Observer Extra 4

In the beginning...

In the end...

Ash was slightly taken aback and looked ahead.

There was naturally nothing in front, because this is where everything starts, and beyond this starting point, nothing exists... right?

Of course not.

If Ash had not unified the mage plane but instead had an end-time serpent devour all worlds to unify the mage concept, this serpent would eventually devour its own tail until it completely collapsed back into chaos, returning the plane to its original state. After an incalculable amount of time, eight creation lives would be born again in the primordial chaos, with fate repeating cyclically, like a ring.

After the end, there is the beginning.

The Observer does not travel back in time to find the Land of Origin; instead, they traverse the end, reaching the Land of Origin after the plane has returned to chaos, like the tail of an ouroboros connected to its head!

Final Observer is also the Initial Observer!

All doubts melted away like ice under the sun, and he discovered a treasure of immeasurable value, yet Ash’s mood did not notably improve.

When he discovered traces of the Observer, Ash secretly held a faint expectation in his heart, a hope he himself was unwilling to admit... After all, praying for miracles as the Master of the Void Realm was rather weak.

He opened the most important "Exploration," and the pages flipped to a new one, revealing a golden tree diagram.

At the top of the tree were the words "Apocalypse World Line," and as it traced down, there were "Alchemy World Line," "Snowfall World Line," "Black Key World Line," "Clouded Heart World Line"... Ash quickly found their world line named "Sun Listening World Line," somehow named after the Sun Technique Spirit.

And at the bottom of the golden tree diagram, naturally, was the "Initial World Line," with a note beside it showing [Ash Sequence is Exploring].

Clearly, this exploration system is designed to assist Ash in leading the operators in conquering the world lines, but it is now useless to him.

However, Ash stared intensely at the page, his expression changing.

He saw in the top left corner of the tree diagram, in a blank space where nothing existed, there were two swirling data streams constantly tearing and changing.

The larger stream never produced any valid information, but the smaller one flickered a line of text within a millisecond:

[Apocalypse Sequence is Exploring].

The Observer isn’t dead!? What about Death Mad and the others? Are they not dead!? Or have they revived? But why aren’t they in the mage plane—

Ash quickly thought of the answer himself: If the Observer and the others really revived and lost the Bonds System, from their perspective, he might no longer have the capability to solve the end-time serpent. If there was a chance to leave the mage plane, they would certainly leave... at least the Observer would leave.

If the Observer knew Ash had become the Master of the Void Realm and could perfectly resolve the end-time serpent, he would run even faster. The Observer is a wicked, cruel, heartless fox, yet also a proud and resilient lone wolf... How could he allow himself to submit to Ash just to survive?

As for the Observer’s whereabouts, there is only one possibility.

Ash gazed at the exploration page for a long time, his eyes flowing with amusement, the corners of his mouth slowly lifting in a light smile: "Have you already rampaged through other worlds?"

Not within the mage plane, the "Aurora’s Mage Manual" could still communicate with other worlds. Clearly, the Observer had exploited the "Exploration" system’s loophole, reversing the invasion of other worlds and leaving the mage plane.

Then, what should I do?

There is clearly only one choice.

"Rarely do I venture out; it would be a pity not to bring back a gift."

Ash’s fingers traced the exploration page, murmuring to himself:

"It’s fortunate I came here alone."

Forces from other worlds have already projected themselves onto the mage plane, whether Ash knew or not, he could not possibly sit idly by now that he knows. Regardless of whether they are allies or enemies, he must venture beyond the world to understand the situation and decide his next steps as the Master of the Void Realm.

While he’s at it, he should see if the Observer is truly not dead, and if Death Mad and the others have revived.

If Ash doesn’t go now, he’d have to go with the Sword Maiden and others upon returning, so he might as well conduct the exploration alone and gather information to avoid them encountering unknown dangers.

Moreover...

"So-called mages are a group of adventurers with incurable greed and curiosity."

Ash laughed lightly, his fingertips resting on the swirling stream of data, and as a new data stream emerged, Ash knew it was a confirmation inquiry, nodded and said:

"Set off."

At that moment, the data stream assembled into a complete field, showing Ash’s destination—

"Aurora."
