Chapter 1843 - 1357: The Thoughts of the Female Mages (Part 4)
"If there was a ranking for those who liked Ash, we might not even make it into the top ten."
Tamasi tilted her head: "Seems like it, so what?"
"By the time we enter Heaven, the internal factions are likely already settled." Hanna moved closer to Tamasi, placing a hand on her shoulder: "We might be excluded."
"I don’t care."
"Do you really not care?" Hanna massaged Tamasi’s shoulders, whispering near her ear: "No matter what ideas you have, no matter what you want to experiment with, no matter what you need, perhaps a single thought from the Master of Void Realm can help you achieve it."
"I’ll just ask him directly."
"Ash will certainly satisfy your requests, but won’t you feel embarrassed? If we are talking about equivalent exchange, shouldn’t we also contribute something?"
Tamasi hesitated a bit: "He can propose—"
Hanna laughed: "If he is willing to fulfill your needs unconditionally, can you really enjoy his kindness with peace of mind?"
Tamasi was silent for a moment, a frustrated voice emanating from beneath her mask: "I’m really not used to such conversations, just say your thoughts directly."
"Let’s form an alliance." Hanna returned to her seat, extending her hand towards her: "As people who likewise need Ash, let’s work together to bring Ash happiness."
Tamasi cast a deep look at Hanna and grasped her hand.
Outside the window, the starry sky had already been partially engulfed by colorful tides.
...
...
"I offer the Blood Moon to the great Master of Void Realm, he is the Supreme, the most powerful, virtuous, and benevolent existence, ruling the entire world with bonds and connecting all fates with the Mage’s Handbook!"
In the Kingdom of Blood Moon, Freyja unfolded her Void Wings and flew through the night sky, continually reciting the words as if singing. Wherever the sound reached, the earth bloomed with flowers, creatures were enchanted with laughter, and even the night’s darkness turned gentle.
"Freyja, wait for me!"
Siflin followed behind, feeling an indescribable sense of defeat—she was renowned for flight among the Blood Saints, yet she couldn’t fly faster than a Meiwa!
And clearly, it was a task for two people, yet Freyja alone had completed all the work, conquering three cities under Blood Moon in just over ten minutes, with Siflin not lending any assistance!
Freyja slowed down slightly, waiting for her to catch up, urged: "Faster, faster, we must conquer the Kingdom of Blood Moon as quickly as possible!"
"The fastest is surely Hanna and the others, we shouldn’t even think of it." Siflin chuckled with frustration: "You’re so eager to see Ash, huh? It’s the first time I’ve seen you work so hard."
"What are you talking about?" Freyja looked puzzled: "Ash is saving the world, only we can help him, how can we not give our all? This is a matter concerning the fate of the world!"
Siflin was rendered speechless by her words, even feeling her perspective was small: "I’m sorry."
"Besides, Ash said he needed my help!" Freyja clenched her fists, her pupils turning heart-shaped: "Ash needing help is so adorable! And once this matter is settled, he should be able to help me ascend as a demigod, then I can go to the Seven Heavens and be with him forever, yay, hehe~"
Seeing flowers once again start to bloom around the Meiwa, lost in indescribable peach-colored fantasies, Siflin rubbed her forehead, sensing the previous one-minded world-saving Meiwa was more endearing.
She hesitated for a moment, asking: "So, Freyja, you will ascend as a demigod and become Ash’s angel soon?"
"Of course!" Freyja swung her fists randomly: "I don’t want to stay in a world without Ash for even a moment!"
"But have you considered," Siflin chose her words carefully: "You actually spent a relatively short time with Ash before, not much interaction. Once you truly start living together with Ash, he may—"
"Are you asking if I’ve thought about him disliking me? I’ve thought about it." Freyja shook her head: "I actually know I’m not cute or interesting, just as ordinary as an advertisement slip, if Ash spends more time with me he will surely get tired of me and choose someone cuter, more excellent—"
"No way!" Siflin held her snow-white shoulder, loudly refuting: "You are the cutest and most interesting Meiwa!"
"Hehe, Sif is the cutest and most interesting little bat." Freyja giggled foolishly, "So don’t worry, I’ve seriously thought about it."
"But if Ash really stops liking you, wouldn’t you... be sad?"
"Sad, of course I’d be sad, but as long as I can be with Ash it’s okay."
Siflin froze: "Why? Even though he doesn’t like you anymore, why do you still want to be with him?"
"What does his liking me or not have to do with me?" Freyja blinked, reaching out to caress Siflin’s face: "Ash taught me the most important thing, which is the ability to love."
"We deserve to be loved, and deserve to love others."
"No matter if Ash likes me or not, just liking him alone makes me incredibly happy."
Freyja took Siflin’s hand, her voice light: "Come on, let’s continue helping Ash conquer the world!"
Siflin stared blankly at her, being pulled forward in flight. This Blood Saint Legend suddenly reached out and tightly embraced the Meiwa’s waist, the Meiwa both surprised and delighted: "Wow~ Sif is actually acting coy, so rare!"
"You just need to follow your heart and keep liking Ash as always," Siflin said earnestly: "I will help you seize happiness."
"We will all seize happiness." Freyja ruffled Siflin’s hair gently, saying: "Because we are pioneering the future of this world, fate won’t shortchange us, right?"
They looked up, seeing a starry sea that the Blood Moon couldn’t overshadow, now nearly half stained by colorful tides. Stars and colors intertwined, weaving a dreamlike night sky, together casting supreme glory.
The scales of victory began to tilt.
