Chapter 1842 - 1357: The Female Mages’ Thoughts (3)
Felix pondered: "Demi is three years older than me..."
"I’ve actually suspected whether your uncle’s murder is related to Beverly, after all, only this could force your father to return." Dedarose sighed, "Beverly is also the type of woman who would rush into the flame like a moth, unwilling to stop until she’s burned out."
The milk tea in her hand was only faintly warm now. Felix looked up at the starry sky, the myriad starlight seemingly falling into her eyes.
She recalled the fairy tale her mother told her when she was young, that those who had passed away didn’t leave, but transformed into stars to watch over their loved ones on earth from the night sky.
So, father, mother, are you watching me...?
Felix suddenly chuckled aloud, murmuring to herself, "A mage shouldn’t be so naive."
She exhaled a long breath, withdrew her gaze to the bustling street ahead, her lips turned up slightly, and she drained the milk tea in one gulp.
There are some people you must reconcile with, because without reconciling with them, your life cannot truly begin.
"Then, what should I do?" She looked at Dedarose: "Aunt."
The first beauty under the starry sky hesitated slightly, then a smile bloomed beneath the veil as she intimately took Felix’s hand, "Don’t worry, I’ll help you."
"Now, let’s complete the task," she looked up at the cathedral standing at the end of the pedestrian street, tightening the white gloves given by Ash: "Seven Heavens is our battlefield."
Void Wings, unfold!
Felix and Dedarose flew to the top of the cathedral’s bell tower, every pedestrian on the street raised their heads to gaze at them. The legendary Void Wings and Holy Domain’s Void Wings were rare sights for ordinary people, and their dazzling tail feathers made both heaven and earth pale in comparison.
The crowd stared at them, enthralled by the captivating Supreme Void Wings.
Dedarose removed the veil, along with the singing of the peerless songstress, the heavenly sound, enhanced by Miracle, walked in the sky, as if walking on the ground! A white feather appeared in Felix’s palm, and as she gently blew the feather, the air currents within a thousand miles flowed, carrying Dedarose’s song to the furthest corners of the Starry Land.
As all beings lost themselves in the ethereal and enigmatic song, Felix’s command pierced their eardrums, reaching their souls: "I dedicate the stars to the great Master of Void Realm, he is Supreme, the ultimate power, ultimate virtue, ultimate goodness, governing the world with bonds, connecting all life through the Mage’s Handbook!"
She lifted her head, witnessing the splendid starry sky gradually dissolving under the pressure of dazzling colors.
"World, submit to the glory of the Master of Void Realm!"
...
...
"I dedicate the Gospel to the great Master of Void Realm, he is Supreme, the ultimate power, ultimate virtue, ultimate goodness, governing the world with bonds, connecting all life through the Mage’s Handbook!"
In Yisu’s Imperial Palace, at the Witch’s office, Hanna, clad in purple gauze, sat in a chair issuing the highest directive to the nation using the Gospel System:
"In the name of music, pray for the protection of the Master of Void Realm!"
Black Crow sat opposite her, a hint of incredulity in their tone: "Is that all it takes?"
"If this isn’t enough, then my two years of ruling through the Gospel would have been in vain." Hanna opened the refrigerator, took out red wine and ice water—Black Crow said they only drink water, so she gave them the ice water—and then casually opened the wine’s cork, gulping it down directly.
Afterwards, she wiped the wine from the corner of her mouth and smiled: "I used to pour it into a glass and let it breathe slowly, but one day I found it too cumbersome and drank directly, somehow finding it quite enjoyable."
"If this can conquer the Gospel, there’s no need for me to be here." Black Crow said: "I should go help in other nations."
"You know their strength, there’s no problem. Besides, if you went, it wouldn’t help—conquering the world needs broad intimidation, your close combat skills aren’t useless, but they’re only for preventing sudden incidents." Hanna chilled her cheek with the wine bottle: "And don’t you find this pairing intriguing? Freyja with Siflin, Felix with Dedarose, me with you."
"Do you have something to tell me?" Tamasi frowned: "I’m not very accustomed to these roundabout conversations... It’s as convoluted as dealing with Igula and Tanomu."
"Barring surprises, Ash will soon be the Supreme Master of Void Realm." Hanna stood up, pulling open the curtains, saying: "With his abilities, it’s easy to protect our ascension to Demigod. But I guess you’re not in a rush to step into the Seven Heavens?"
Tamasi nodded: "I want to perfect my philosophy on earth, solidify my beliefs, and before that, I won’t step into Heaven."
"I feel the same way." Hanna said: "My Empress definitely doesn’t plan to return to earth, so I must cultivate the next generation’s Chief Witch in the Gospel and fully implement my governance policies before ascending at ease."
"Have you noticed, Black Crow, you and I are both anomalies." She turned to Tamasi, "While it’s not that we don’t like Ash, for us, liking is merely the most glamorous packaging of this relationship, the things we seek in Ash differ from everyone else."
"For you, Ash is not so much a lover as the most intimate comrade-in-arms; you wish to follow him to the ends of time, to practice your Ya Sha Jin philosophy with him."
"For me, Ash is my shortcut to realizing my ideal; conquering him means conquering this world, seizing supreme power."
