Lycan King's Regret: Punished The Wrong Daughter
Chapter 202- Thank you, Arabella!
Chapter 202: 202- Thank you, Arabella!
Third-person POV:
Before Angela could move, one of the rogues grabbed her arm while another came up behind her, blocking her way back to the fence.
"What’s a pretty woman like you doing out here all alone?" one of them asked, laughing as his companions surrounded her.
Angela struggled to free herself, but her eyes kept searching the trees, hoping to catch a glimpse of her daughter.
Where are you, sweetheart? Please, stay hidden.
One of the men caught her chin and turned her face toward him. "I’m talking to you, woman!"
Angela barely heard him. It wasn’t until he leaned forward and tried to kiss her that she reacted. She shoved him with all her strength, sending him stumbling backward.
"You bitch!" The rogue charged at her, furious at being humiliated in front of his companions. Before Angela could defend herself, he struck her across the face with the back of his hand.
The force sent her stumbling sideways. And that was when a small white wolf emerged from behind a nearby tree.
She stood there for a moment, looking at the man who had just hit her mother. Then she opened her mouth and let out a scream. It was nothing like the howl of an ordinary wolf.
The sound was so piercing that Angela immediately dropped to her knees, covering both ears. Around her, the rogues cried out in pain, releasing their hold on her as they collapsed to the ground.
"Make it stop!" one of them screamed.
Another rolled helplessly among the fallen leaves, blood trickling from his ear as he pressed both hands against his head.
Even Angela couldn’t bear the sound. She tried calling Arabella’s name, but her own voice was drowned out by the terrible scream coming from the little wolf.
After a while, Arabella finally stopped screaming.
Angela slowly removed her hands from her ears. The rogues were still groaning on the ground, and she could hear distant voices coming from the direction of the pack territory.
Her pack members must have heard that terrible scream. She knew it wouldn’t be long before they arrived. She had to get Arabella out of there before anyone saw her wolf.
"Arabella, sweetheart, come to Mama," she called, struggling to her feet. She had barely taken two steps when one of the rogues grabbed her from behind.
"Where do you think you’re going, bitch?" Before Angela could turn around, he struck her again. She lost her balance and fell forward, hitting her forehead against a large stone. Blood immediately began running down the side of her face.
The pup went wild.
Arabella growled at the man who had hurt her mother, her small body trembling with rage. Then, without warning, her eyes turned completely silver.
The rogue took a step back. "What the hell is—"
A bolt of lightning shot from Arabella’s eyes and struck him directly in the chest. He dropped dead before he could finish speaking.
For a moment, nobody moved. Even Angela, who was trying to push herself off the ground, froze at what she had just witnessed.
Another rogue turned to run, but a second bolt struck him before he could reach the trees.
"Arabella! No, sweetheart!" Angela cried, but the little one didn’t seem to hear her.
Her silver eyes moved from one rogue to another, sending bolts of lightning at every man who tried to escape. Angela kept calling her name, begging her to stop, but within moments, all the rogues were lying motionless on the forest floor.
"Arabella, please! It’s Mama!" Angela heard footsteps approaching from behind.
"What on earth is going on here?" Dr. Billy demanded as he hurried into the clearing.
The senior doctor had heard the commotion. He stopped in shock when he saw the bodies scattered across the ground.
"Angela? What happened?" Arabella immediately turned toward the unfamiliar voice and her silver eyes flashed again. Angela saw it happening. She saw the little wolf turn toward Dr. Billy, and knew exactly what was coming.
"ARABELLA! NO!" She threw herself between them. The lightning struck Angela before she could reach her daughter.
Her entire body jerked violently, lifting off the ground for a brief moment, then she fell backward and hit the earth with a heavy thud.
And this time, she didn’t move.

By the time Rick and Chris arrived at the forest, several pack warriors and pack members had already gathered around the clearing.
The bodies of the rogues lay scattered across the ground, with Angela lying motionless among them.
A few feet away, little Arabella sat beneath a tree, her knees drawn to her chest. She had shifted back into her human form and was completely naked, trembling and crying as she looked at her mother’s body.
"What the hell happened here?" Chris demanded, surveying the scene.
Dr. Billy stood nearby, looking shaken. He had tried everything he could to save Angela, but there was nothing more he could do.
"Alpha, there’s something you need to know about the child."
He had promised Angela that he would keep Arabella’s secret, but after what had happened, he knew he could no longer hide it. He explained how Arabella had gotten her wolf at the age of three and how Angela had been bringing her to the forest.
Chris looked at Arabella in disbelief. "You’re telling me that little girl killed all these rogues?"
Dr. Billy nodded. "Yes, Alpha. She was frightened, and when she saw her mother being attacked, she lost control."
Rick had been listening without saying a word. He slowly approached Arabella and crouched in front of her.
For the first time in six years, he properly looked at the little girl. Her face was wet with tears, and she kept glancing toward Angela, waiting for her mother to get up. "Daddy..." she whispered.
Rick smiled.
Then, for the first time in her life, he leaned forward and kissed her forehead. "Thank you, Arabella." The little girl looked at him in confusion.
"Thank you for making things easy for me," he continued softly. "Your mother was nothing but a burden. I didn’t need her anymore, and thank Goddess... and thanks to you, I won’t have to deal with her anymore." Arabella stared at him without understanding what he meant.
Rick stood up and turned toward the warriors. "Someone take the child home. Get her dressed and make sure she’s fed. And from now on, add wolfsbane to her food every day."
Dr. Billy looked horrified. "Beta Rick, she’s only six years old! Wolfsbane could seriously harm her wolf!"
"That’s exactly the point," Rick replied coldly. "She may have done the pack a favor by killing those rogues, but a child who can kill so many people without even touching them is a danger to everyone."
He turned toward Chris. "Don’t you agree, Alpha?" Chris looked at the dead rogues, after a moment, he nodded. "Do as the Beta says."
And just like that, the decision was made.
