Chapter 1928: Seeing His Own Heart

Wanton desire ruins the Earth

So, the rain falls with divine destruction magic embedded into it. It falls from the Supreme Divine Dimension and wash away all the corruptions in the Earth

The higher the corruption, the higher the flood.

The lower the corruption, the lower the flood.

And so, Azief watches as the world is bathed in rain.

In some parts, the rain was so heavy that it broke all high towers and everything that is magical turns into nothingness, evaporating like it was a smoke that is being swept away by a gust of wind

In some parts, the rain is like a drizzle, and only for a short time period.

The rain falls, the corruption is cleansed and the people there look at the sky and prostrate themselves in awe and fear.

Odin said that this sow the seeds for the War of the Gods.

Because magic always leave a trace.

Before that moment, Earth, while it has some magical energy it was not much.

But the divine essence of the One for All, even if it is a faint trace amount is enough to transform many things.

Earth suddenly is full of magic power.

This magic power strengthen the unseen barrier that protect Earth but also allowed other alien beings like Odin to come down and yet still have the ability to exercise their power.

Odin also revealed that when Earth is still a land of molten lava he did come here.

Surt, Thor and Loki also had come here in the past in the early stages of Earth development

There is also Olympians that were here long before there was even dinosaurs. Surprisingly enough, before the dinosaurs there is other living creatures on Earth

But Odin did not let him linger on that scene and instead he only saw a glimpse of this race before the dinosaurs

It is clear to Azief now that Odin didn’t suddenly appeared five thousand years ago on Earth

He was an older existence that Azief had thought

Even a millions and trillion of years ago, he was here.

When one think of how long that is, even the mind find itself hard to wrap itself around the ideas of living a trillion years

Because trillion itself could not be imagined in the head.

Azief look at all of this, look at the war, see the cause and effect of all of these things and how it relates to the decision of when Odin decided to send the All Source to Earth

The Seven Intergalactic Power that rules many start system in the Omniverse, owe Earth. When they fought that war on Earth, they created cause and effect and all the destruction that they wrought at that time had to be paid off.

Sending the All Source, is returning back the All Source to where it should have been.

In a way, the Seven Intergalactic power has been borrowing the fortune of fate and luck of Earth for almost five thousand years inside that war.

Azief right now is like a reader with a third person view.

He could see all of the stories and understand it from the beginning from a perspective not of his own but from a higher dimension

And then all of this scene began to zoom forward yet his eyes could see through it all.

Thousands of years, tens of thousands of years, million, trillion of years passed by and he was there, watching all over it and understanding thing he did not understand before, a higher understanding of his own past, Earth past, the motivation and desire of those beings, and knowing what beings and evil creatures that is watching him, wanting him to succeed, wanting him to fail and this…..this is something more important to him than any treasures

Because it lets him understand certain things he did not understand before.

So that he could know…who could be his enemies and who could be his friends and allies

Before, all of this “beings” that Wargod said to watch over him had no faces. Azief had to imagine them and he could not imagine them

Because this enemy was abstract.

But now, he could put a face to these enemies.

He could put a face to this beings that is watching over him.

There is a fiery determination in his heart that is budding. To break free from this gaze and to break free from his destined fate

And in this years, he could feel that his Essence Avatar of Chaos and Essence Avatar of Harmony is now on the stage of sublimation

He could feel that they are about to be perfected. The time did not take his lifespan but it sharpened his soul, clear his mind and clear his heart

But he felt Odin shows him all of this for more than just to sharpened and complete his Essence.

There were times when he is in this memories, these past fragments of time that some scene is shown to him in more detailed than others

Like Odin is beside him, telling him to memorize this point of time. Telling him to remember what happens in this time

Azief also knows that a trillion years of memories is not something that is easy to store in one mind

The mind always store redundant memories in other places. And things that are not important, people that are not important would always be forgotten.

So, Azief also did not insist to remember every memories but store it and seal it so that one day when something related to that memory appears, the corresponding memory seal would be unlocked and he would remember it

But there were some parts of this time fragments that he could not help but stay for long.

Every time he was with “her”

Azief never thought Odin even collected these part of the memories. But Odin said that the memories are not only his. It is a collection of wills that created these memories.

And since Azief is in there, that also means his memories are also in this

And all of the greatest hits was there

He and Sofia. And even if he did not want to, he found himself, staying there in those memories.

He usually seals those memories. It is not wise to revisits those memories. But here, today, that memories that he sealed, leaked out

He saw himself in front of a mall. Killing zombies, the front of the mall is littered with heads

And then he opens the steel shutter. The shutter going up and then as he looks in front of him, there was…her

Both of them looked at each other in shock.

“Sofia?”

“Azief?”

The wind blows, and there was an awkward silence between them.

“You….” Both of them muttered at the same time

“Anyway, hurry up! Come in before more these things comes here” Sofia gesture to him to come inside.

Azief look at this memory from a distance. This is how he met her after the Fall.

The scene changes and now he saw Sofia under a peach tree. Sofia eyes were red, moist and then tears come out from those eyes.

Azief remember this. It was when she returns back to her village

“At that moment, under the tree, looking at the skies, with eyes that was full with tears…..she was beautiful”

That was his thoughts then. That was his thoughts now

At that time, that was the first time Sofia cried on his chest. That day, she lost her family.

A lifetime relationship, an oath spoken, only death would defy.

That was what supposed to be between them

Azief still remember how arrogant he was in those days

“Let us raise hell in this new era” that was what he said in those days.

“Like an eight-grader syndrome” Azief thought to himself as he smiles at himself. Azief fast forward this scene. Because there is a cringe speech he make at that time

But at that time, those speech are the words he use to motivate himself. At that time, he did not feel it was cringe.

Because at that time…death are all around him

Cringe is nothing compared to the feeling of surviving from close calls every moment

Azief could see that both him and her, at that time was full of anger. There is wrath building up and a burning fury to the world, to everything around them

Now, Azief is mature enough to know…..that the feelings that they felt at the time might seem similar but the circumstances is different

Because Azief had long been angry at the world. A simmering resentment that has exploded when he got power.

Now revisiting the past, he felt a different feeling from looking at himself in the past.

Sofia reminded him of that past

If he look at the past, whether it be the past before the Fall or even after the Fall, Sofia was there

She was the first one. The first one where his heart is requited. And that is special for anyone. To love someone…and to be loved back
