Chapter 2055 Master abilities -1

“Master Laws?”

Richard furrowed his brows for a few seconds, glancing to his side toward his father, silent in thought, “…” Then he turned back toward the vast sea once more, his gaze lost in the endless horizon. “I have only a surface-level understanding. Just the common knowledge, the general information that everyone knows and repeats.”

He continued, “… It’s said that the eight Master Laws are what formed this world and shaped its very foundation. Seven of them are known, and one is completely unknown, hidden from all existence itself. They are not paths like the rest of the laws that contain a sub-law and minor laws branching from them. Each Master Law has only a single, indivisible law, whole and absolute, without division or fragmentation.”

He paused briefly, as if choosing his words carefully. “I also heard that you can’t be born with affinity toward one of them. It’s something you must strive for, something you must pursue with your entire existence. You have to search for them to find them, or sometimes… they are the ones that find you.”

“I also heard that trying to assimilate a Master Law is a hopeless possibility, because the success rate is almost nonexistent, nearly zero compared to the long history of the universe…”

Then he looked at his father again with a faint, playful smile. “What, do you think that when I was trying to create an anti-life ability, I accidentally added a Master Law to it? Hehe… heh?”

Robin did not laugh with him.

He kept a serious, heavy expression while watching the sea, his eyes steady and calm. “What you told me is indeed the surface-level view.”

Then he paused for a moment, his voice lowering slightly. “There are hidden truths that only those who enter the world of Master Laws know. Secrets buried so deep that even some Behemoths know nothing about them, and never will.”

Then he smiled at his son and gently patted his thigh. “For example, did you know that Master Law abilities are translated into Fundamental Laws?”

“Huh?” Richard frowned deeply, confusion clearly written on his face.

“I was surprised too!!” Robin laughed openly.

“Do you mean that all Fundamental Laws came from the eight Master Laws?” Richard nodded several times. “…That makes sense. Everything that came after the formation of the universe, Essential, Fundamental, and Complementary laws, all came from the convergence of the eight Master Laws. All existence traces back to them.”

“No, no, that’s not what I mean,” Robin waved a few times, correcting him calmly. “Of course, all Heavenly Laws are derived in one way or another from the Master ones. That is natural. That’s why I used the Fundamental Laws, the closest to the Master, to try to understand them more deeply and eventually reach a Master Law in the end, just as I did with Creation and Spacetime.” “What I mean is something different… I’m talking about the abilities, the combat techniques of the Master Laws themselves!”

Robin showed a wide, meaningful smile. “…Some time ago, I was puzzled by the names of the laws used by the children of the Cosmic Elder. As you know, the first batch arrived some time ago at the Holy Covenant Academy.”

He continued, “Laws such as: Denial of Perfection, Forced Stability, Asymmetrical Symmetry, Fair Exchange, and others. All of them are harmonious with nature, deeply aligned with the Master law of Balance, yet at the same time, you cannot find them in nature itself, as if they exist beyond natural reality.”

His smile widened even more. “They were extremely powerful laws, so powerful that they could be placed alongside the Fundamental Laws without shame. And yet, they are not necessary. If they vanished, you wouldn’t feel the absence of anything. For example, Denial of Perfection. It’s an extremely powerful law that makes its user reject the idea that there is anything beyond them. Any incoming attack is destroyed, any obstacle is crushed, and any resistance is erased, and yet…. this law has no role in practical life. The universe itself is fundamentally built on the principle of imperfection anyways.”

“What the…?”

Richard was astonished, his mind struggling to process what he had just heard. “I know, I know, it’s mentally exhausting”

Robin waved his hand several times, as if trying to brush away the weight of the topic itself. “That’s exactly why I waited until the Cosmic Elder sent the second batch of his children, eighty additional children. On that day, I caught him at the right moment and managed to ask him directly about the true nature of those powerful laws he distributes to his children. He answered me calmly, saying that they were techniques he himself had once created and used, and that the moment he used them, they immediately transformed into Fundamental Laws.”

“A technique?”

Richard furrowed his brows deeply. “Just using a technique once turned it into a Fundamental Law? A law that can be used to build foundations and systems?”

“Imagine that!!”

Robin looked genuinely excited, his voice rising slightly. “When I questioned him further, the Cosmic Elder began to explain everything in more detail.”

Then he continued, “He told me that the fifth level of any Master Law grants its owner a special status in the universe when it comes to laws themselves. Anything they do becomes more powerful than any other Fundamental Law. Because of that, any powerful technique they execute instantly transforms into a law. A law without affinity, but also without any affinity requirements, because it is not a law of nature. A law that anyone can study, as long as they are capable of comprehending it and understanding its structure!”

“Impossible!”

Richard jolted in place. “There have been many Master Law users who appeared and reached the fifth level. There must be countless powerful laws

like this. Why do we never hear about them? Why is there no record of them at

all?”

“Because they don’t exist in nature. You can’t observe them, you can’t document them and write cultivation techniques for them.”

Robin raised a finger slowly, emphasizing each word. “But Master Law users can sense those new laws directly, and they can write cultivation techniques for them, just as the Cosmic Elder did… hoping that his children’s use of those laws derived from balance techniques will one day cause one of them to comprehend Master Balance itself.”

“Oh…”

Richard looked forward again, his eyes unfocused. “No wonder, then. No one who uses a fifth-level Master Law would ever write such cultivation techniques for someone else. Perhaps the Cosmic Elder truly is the only exception.”

“Tsk tsk~”

Robin shook his head slowly. “According to the Cosmic Elder, there are two others who do it as well.”

Then he looked forward again, his expression turning distant. “One of them is my ark enemy, someone I have never seen before, and the second is a woman equal to them both in power, a woman who commands many followers. Both of them do the same thing. They hand their followers laws derived from their own

Master Law techniques.”

Then he stared toward the horizon, his voice lowering.

me to retrieve his law. That person didn’t just use the law in a way that harmed the All-seeing god’s interests, but also derived law-techniques from it and distributed them to a number of his closest followers, those who grew under his guidance and protection… what audacity. Richard did not fully understand anything that had just been said, but it was

clear that his father was speaking in a deliberately vague and layered way, as if hiding meanings behind every sentence. So he did not ask. He simply nodded

slowly.

“So this is what you think I possess? That I somehow reached one of those

derived laws?”

Robin remained silent for a few moments, as if thinking, then turned to Richard

as if suddenly remembering their conversation.

“Hm? Of course not. How would you possibly obtain one of those? Hehe~”
