Chapter 364: Dinner with Elizabeth [Bonus Chapter GT]
Elizabeth noticed the silver owl hovering over his shoulder. "So, you were really promoted to a second-year student," she murmured, her tone carrying a hint of sadness. She looked down at her food, visibly dejected. "Does that mean you will not be training with us or spending time with us anymore?"
"I am returning to the Eastern Realms tomorrow morning," Solomon reassured her, taking a bite of his food. "I will not be coming back to the main academy campus until I have successfully unlocked my two remaining aura cores. NOw that I think about it, I failed that challenge to unlock all cores within seven days."
Elizabeth ate slowly, her red eyes reflecting the sunset outside the window. "You are progressing far too fast, Solomon. Maybe you should take things a little slower. If you keep moving at this speed, everyone else will just be left behind."
Solomon looked at her, his expression straight and serious. "Then you guys just need to move faster, too."
[Vaelen: bro has zero chill.]
[trenthay: the grind never stops for Solo Man.]
[Dakota_Smith: Elizabeth just wants to spend time with you idiot!]

[Shadow: he expects everyone to keep up with his insane pace.]
[Sedrikk: harsh but true.]
They continued eating in a comfortable time and company with each other.
"By the way," Solomon confessed casually, breaking the silence. "I peeked into the training chamber earlier today. I saw you taking magic lessons from Madam Alfoy."
Elizabeth’s face instantly went beet red. A look of sheer shock and profound embarrassment washed over her features. She realized he had watched her fail to conjure a basic water spell.
"You can make fun of me if you want," Elizabeth muttered, looking away in shame.
Solomon did not look impressed by that self-deprecating statement. "There is nothing wrong with failing a technique. Why on earth would I make fun of someone who is training and trying their hardest to improve? At least you are actually trying to get stronger, and that is all that truly matters."
Elizabeth blushed deeply, her heart fluttering at the unexpected validation. "I possess a pure water attribute," she confessed softly. "It is frowned upon by the combat guilds, and most people consider it completely useless for battle. That is why I want to master royal swordplay instead."
"I actually find it beautiful," Solomon responded honestly.
Elizabeth blinked in confusion, tilting her head. "What are you talking about?"
"I find liquid to be incredibly beautiful, no matter what kind of liquid it is," Solomon clarified, his silver eyes completely serious. "Blood, tears, rushing water, falling rain... anything that flows is fundamentally alive to me. Being able to physically control and manifest that kind of flowing energy is just incredibly cool."
Elizabeth simply stared at him in utter shock, completely lost for words.
Solomon chuckled softly. "You might find that perspective a little weird, or think it is some kind of strange, morbid fetish. But to me, flowing liquid represents... life."
[Andy_Thornton: bro is so edgy but it actually worked.]
[Stepen_wood: the rizz king is back!]
[1Fizzy: he just called her magic beautiful!]
[James_hayes: Elizabeth is malfunctioning right now.]
[GoonLord: W SOLO MAN!]
They finished eating their meals. Elizabeth set her empty plate aside and looked at him. "Do you have any plans for the rest of the night?"
"I was told the academy enforces strict curfews," Solomon replied, stretching his arms.
Elizabeth grinned, a mischievous spark returning to her red eyes. "The mandatory curfew is 19:30 for first-year novices, and 21:30 for second-year students. It is currently only a little past 19:00, so you still have plenty of time."
"I should point out that you are still a first-year," Solomon noted logically.
She smirked, elegantly flicking her white hair over her shoulder. She turned around, looked back at him with a devious grin, and stated proudly, "There are no rules for royals."
She took a step down the corridor. "Are you coming?"
Solomon smiled slightly, shook his head in amusement, and followed her down the hall.
Elizabeth walked ahead down the corridor, while Solomon trailed a few paces behind her, quietly watching the gentle sway of her hips and the confident stride of her boots.
She suddenly stopped and spun around, clasping her hands neatly behind her back.
"Would you like to see the royal wing of the academy?" Elizabeth asked, tilting her head. "Only royals are housed there, and no one else is allowed entry."
Solomon chuckled, stuffing his hands into his pockets. "If no one else is allowed inside, how can I possibly go there?"
Elizabeth puffed her cheeks into a pout. "I am not in the mood for your jokes today. Just follow me."
She turned and led him toward a secluded sector of the campus.
The standard gothic architecture of the academy rapidly transitioned into something breathtakingly luxurious. The royal wing boasted towering ceilings vaulted with gold leaf and deep velvet drapes. Stained glass windows cast vibrant, multi-colored hues across polished marble floors. Intricate silver carvings lined every archway and doorframe.
Seeing this lavish sector just once would make a person view the rest of the academy as a dull, lifeless stone box.
[1Fizzy: the royal wing looks insane!]
[James_hayes: bro got the VIP tour.]
[Mezz_3863: Solo Man walking into restricted areas again.]
[sgtcwby: Elizabeth bending the rules for him.]
Elizabeth proudly showed him around the various high-end facilities, pointing out the private indoor gardens and the enchanted training rooms.
Solomon glanced around the opulent hallways. "What happened to the academy treating every student fairly and equally?"
"This is a different matter," Elizabeth responded, keeping her voice even. "The royal families personally fund the royal wings, and the high-ranking noble families fund the noble wings. The academic treatment and the grading systems remain the same as the other students."
"What about the dorms?" Solomon asked.
"We do not have shared dorms here," Elizabeth explained, gesturing to a row of ornate doors. "We each get a private room to ourselves."
Solomon whistled, genuinely impressed by the luxury, though he tried to downplay his reaction. "How come I got paired up with Arthur in a cramped double room then?"
Elizabeth looked at him seriously. "There are some noble families who are low-ranked or simply not recognized by the noble union. The union does not allow those specific families to access the funded noble wings, so their children end up in the normal dormitories."
She stopped in front of a grand oak door and turned to him. "Would you like to see my room?"
Solomon smirked, deciding to tease her. "Are you inviting me inside for the night?"
He fully expected her to yell at him or throw a punch. Instead, a bright pink hue spread across her cheeks. She looked down at the marble floor and murmured, "If that is what you want."
[Foodball: BRO SHE CALLED HIS BLUFF!]
[GoonLord: I AM SCREAMING!]
[M00N: Solo Man actually malfunctioning right now.]
[Nick: the rizz is too much.]
Solomon instantly lost his teasing mood, and a wave of nervousness washed over him.
’Why did I have to run my mouth and make it awkward?Everything was going so well and I had to ruin it. She probably found it creepy.’
