Chapter 159: Potential 5th?

Tyler and the ladies sat through the rest of their classes for the day. Everything felt so trivial, even dueling. Students would walk up to them, and they’d simply disarm them within seconds. Kass and Nyx weren’t in their class, and Master Sanju approached the dean about sending them to the third-year dueling class.

The dean slowly walked into the dojo, and everyone fell silent. He handed Tyler, Sophie, and Amanda transfer passes. Tyler could tell Adam was bummed, so he asked the dean for a favor. The dean sighed and reluctantly allowed Adam to transfer to the third-year dueling class.

"If he gets hurt, it’s on you," the dean said sternly to Tyler.

"Not gonna happen. Do you honestly think anyone at this school could touch me anymore?" Tyler laughed.

"No, nor any one of your wives, for that matter. Which is why I worry about Adam. The remaining third years will target him for duels. You can’t interfere, so be ready to heal him," the dean said while shaking his head and walking away.

They walked to Professor Clark’s class and handed him the transfer passes. A line was already forming to duel Tyler.

"Next."

"Next."

"Next."

"Okay, this is getting pointless. No more duels with Tyler. Try Nyxara."

This repeated all the way to Adam, who finally started struggling. The third years were like hungry sharks until Tyler slammed his staff onto the ground.

"Picking on the little guy because you can’t defeat the big fish. Just remember your place," Tyler said while disarming the entire classroom.

"Uh, Tyler. You’re kind of becoming a dick." Nyx laughed.

"So? Who are they to bully him just because they can beat him?" Tyler asked while shaking his head.

"Thanks, bro. That was getting annoying." Adam gave him a fist bump while breathing heavily. "I’ll pull my weight. Just give me some time. I’m up to A rank now."

"Good. Don’t stop until you’re SSS." Sophie smirked.

"I like this new edgy Tyler. The old one was getting boring." Kass grinned.

"Right? He’s basically telling everyone, ’Don’t fuck with anyone he cares about, or they’re toast.’" Amanda giggled.

’I really am becoming an egotistical dick. What is wrong with me?’ Tyler thought.

"You’re really not. You were bullied and saw your friend being bullied. You took out 1,000 of the Necram scout bots with ease. With great power comes great responsibility. For fuck’s sake, I killed someone to prove my point," Ash said sternly.

"Just don’t lose the good-natured person you are at heart and in your soul, and you’ll be fine. Your eyes wouldn’t be turning gold if you were on the wrong path," Ritsu reminded him.

After the day concluded, Tyler felt better about everything. School was boring. Fighting was fun.

They were all eating dinner in the cafeteria with a lot of third years, and they noticed many were missing.

"Did they sign up for the war?" Tyler asked while tossing a fish into Ash’s mouth.

"Nom. Nom. Nom. More, please!" Ash chuckled.

"Yes. Many third years took the 2,000-credit monthly allowance to go train with the military," Nyx said while drinking her blood.

"That’s a shitty salary," Sophie admitted while eating her second steak.

"Seriously, that’s all they get?" Tyler said while shaking his head. "What a fucking joke."

"Tyler, a word?" a random student asked while tapping him on the shoulder.

"Uh, sure?" Tyler got up and walked away with the female student.

"I just wanted you to know that there are a lot of women wanting to know if you are interested in inviting anyone else to your little harem," she asked with a shy smile and a blush.

"Honestly, not right now. If there wasn’t an apocalypse happening, I’d maybe consider it, but as a prince, beyond SSS and learning to become an Eidolon, I have too much on my plate. You’re very thoughtful and beautiful, though. Thank you for asking," Tyler said politely.

"Why are you so damn perfect?" She jokingly punched her fists into his chest.

"I’m really not. I actually think I’m kind of becoming a dick. You saw me in the dojo today." Tyler sighed.

"You stood up for your friend. What’s the big deal? I’m Mina, by the way. Are your ladies open to at least having more friends?" she said politely.

"Yeah, sure, come have a seat," Tyler offered.

"Hey, ladies, this is Mina. She wanted some new friends, so I said I know the perfect women," Tyler said with a kind smile.

They all waved and glared at Tyler.

"Friends. F-R-I-E-N-D-S. Get that shit inside your heads." Tyler laughed, which made Mina laugh.

"Seriously, he’s a gentleman and said he’s happily married and doesn’t want anyone else inside his harem. A lot of my friends signed up for the war, and I don’t really have anyone around, so here I am."

"Nice to meet you," Sophie said politely. "Nyx is the vampire—"

"You are all famous. I know who you are." Mina giggled.

{Literally just friends? You turned her down?} - Amanda

[Yes. Why is that so hard to believe?] - Tyler

{It’s not. Just making sure. She’s cute, though.} - Nyxara

[I really am happily married to the four of you, and it was easy to turn her down.] - Tyler

{You could have invited her. She’s hot.} - Kass

[Stop it. I already have the four of you. I don’t need anyone else. Four wives in six months is plenty.] - Tyler

{You’re a sweetheart. We’re all just messing with you. Happy to make new friends. This school is boring and feels empty.} - Sophie

"Are you all, like, talking somehow?" Mina asked politely.

"Yup." Tyler smirked.

"Well, this is embarrassing. I should just go..."

"No, stay. We were just giving him shit about not inviting you to the harem. There is a lot going on, though, and there are, like, 10 million steps you have to take just to get in," Sophie admitted.

"Really? Damn, seems like you are all lucky then," Mina said politely.

Tyler noticed his phone was buzzing.

"We need you at Artic Academy. The enemy is on its way."

"Sorry to cut this short, Mina, but we have somewhere to be," Tyler said while teleporting the ladies away.
