Chapter 147: Alexandria

After spending a night cuddled together against Tyler, they all appreciated Ash’s warmth. The fur coats definitely helped as the temperature dropped heavily "over-night." Thanks to Tyler’s warm flame spell, they were able to sleep comfortably and woke up with a swig of Esper’s magic juice. They didn’t waste much time and bundled up, packed up the tent, put in Kass’ void and headed out.

"Which path do you think we should take?" Nyx asked with her breath showing in the cold.

"The middle one. Her den is near." Ash said calmly.

Tyler pointed straight ahead and they continued walking. They were all surprised they didn’t run into any other beasts on the passage until they saw thousands of bones lying around the mountain area. Kass spotted fresh tracks and they continued following them until they heard a giant roar.

"She is magnificent..." Tyler said while staring at the massive blue dragon. Her white underbelly and light blue color were not what he expected. He imagined a dark blue dragon without any of the white highlights she had. He also didn’t expect such a prominent aura pulsating around her.

"Well, we’re sitting ducks here, let’s teleport upward?" Nyx suggested while grabbing Sophie and Kass.

Tyler grabbed Amanda and they teleported to a cavern about 10 miles from where they were standing. They all started shivering.

"White flame," Tyler whispered while releasing a more powerful warming spell to the ladies. Once they stopped shivering, they noticed the giant dragon flying straight for them. As soon as she opened her mouth, Nyx teleported onto the dragon. Tyler shielded the others from the blast with a fire wall. He was glad he guessed right as her ice shards melted away.

Nyx already had changed into her goddess form, which couldn’t have been comfortable for her in the snow. She took both rapiers and dug deep into the skin of the dragon, who howled in agony. She turned and shot fire at Nyx, but she teleported to Alexandria’s head and gave it a swift kick.

Tyler’s head started pounding, so much so he collapsed to the ground.

"Get this bitch off me!"

Tyler could hear the pain in Alexandria’s voice. The last thing he wanted to ever do to a familiar was hurt them, but he was glad Nyx did the heavy lifting for him.

"Contract with me and I’ll get her off you. She’s pretty persistent." Tyler said as calmly as he could while getting up on one knee.

"Now would be a good time for you all to show her what you can do..." Tyler said.

Expecting an onslaught of attacks, Alexandria readied up another fire blast but saw his 9 familiars leave his body freely, including Leviathan and Gaia in their Eidolons forms.

"You let them leave on their own?" She gasped.

"Yes, and you would be able to as well. So, if you don’t mind returning my wife and signing a contract, I’d be happy to patch you up." Tyler offered, finally standing on his feet despite his head pounding.

’System, create a contract with Alexandria similar to Leviathan. I honestly don’t care if she lives here most of the time if she’s more comfortable here but she needs to come to me when I ask or if we’re in danger.’

[Contract accepted.]

’Woah, so fast.’

Nyxara came flying into the room and Amanda tried catching her. They both ended up crashing into the wall, causing Sophie to laugh.

"Sorry! That looked hilarious." Sophie chuckled as Kass joined in on the fun.

"Seriously you two looked like you were going to form a giant snowball. Sorry if it hurt but that was fucking hysterical!" Kass joked while pulling out one of the jugs and handing it to the girls.

"Thanks... so much." Nyxara said while rolling her eyes.

Tyler had Ash prick his finger and signed the contract.

"Woah, you are one seriously powerful dragon. You just gave me an insanely nice stat boost. Let me heal you." Tyler said while restoring her to full health.

"You have a lot of Ash in you," She laughed. "Been a long time since I’ve seen a lot of you, I do not know 3 of you."

"I’m Vox. I was a plant of Bahamut’s to spy on Tiamat."

"I’m Rex. Tyler kicked my ass in the Forest of Unknowns on Vexarra."

"I’m Shadow. I was a platinum wolf until I met Tyler."

"Alexandria. Nice to meet all of you. I can’t believe you let us leave whenever we want," she exclaimed.

"You’re Eidolons, not caged birds. Just make sure you’re there when I need you, please," Tyler asked nicely. ℯ

"Nyx, Amanda you ok?" Tyler yelled.

"Oh! Now he notices us. I only took down a dragon for you!" Nyxara chuckled.

"Sorry babe, thank you. I didn’t expect you to go full on teleport goddess mode of destruction but I’m glad you did!" Tyler said while teleporting to her and giving her a hug.

"Seriously, thank you. That was really sexy," He whispered, causing Nyx to blush.

"Nyx, you look stronger. Did you get a reward for kicking Alexandria’s ass?" Sophie asked, noticing Nyx’s legs and butt looked significantly stronger.

"Yeah, I did. What do all of your stats look like anyway?"

"Anywhere from 70-90 for me," Kass shrugged.

"100s across the board," Sophie smiled.

"Same as Kass, kind of. My Mana is at 99." Amanda sighed.

"Why are you sighing? That’s amazing!" Tyler exclaimed while giving her a hug. "You are all so powerful!"

"Ok what about you though?" Sophie gave him a friendly grin.

"150 in everything except spirit. My Spirit is 170."

"Spirit?" Nyx asked. "Is that related to being a summoner?"

"I guess, what do you have? I have Strength, charisma, wisdom, mana, dexterity, constitution and spirit."

"All the same except I have vitality instead of spirit." Nyx shrugged.

"I think we’re all the same except for Tyler?" Kass asked.

"Guess so!" Sophie said cheerfully. "Can we please get out of this cold now?"

They teleported back to Esper’s and handed over the crystal hearts from the adventure. They didn’t need them and he had done them enough kind things over the past few months.

"Heya Esper," Alexandria stepped out in her Eidolon form.

Tyler and the girls were stunned by her beauty. She didn’t look a day over 25, had baby blue hair and a perfect body. Her eyes were also a very light blue and everything about her screamed beautiful and not fierce dragoness.

"Well you look good as ever, glad to see you agreed to join up with Tyler and company," Esper smiled.

"I almost blew them all to smitherians. I didn’t expect them all to just leave him freely like that. He even lets me go home whenever I want," she smiled.

"Why are all of my Eidolons super attractive?" Tyler asked with a light chuckle.

"The better question is why is everyone around you super attractive?" Vivian laughed.

"Seriously, your wives are gorgeous, you’re handsome. Are you ready to head out on this Death Valley Quest?" Maximus asked.

"Yeah, but I think we should rest first. I feel a lot more powerful with each contract I sign. I can’t believe when I signed your wife I was only rank D. That seems like forever ago and it was 6 months ago. This is crazy," Tyler said while shaking his head.

"Does he always do that when he’s talking to us?" Alexandria asked the girls.

"Yup." Sophie giggled.

"If we didn’t know he was a summoner, most people would think he was a crazy person. We’ve grown to love his quirks," Kass snickered.

"It really does look like he’s having a conversation with himself. It’s just weird because I can hear it. You know all of us can even when we’re not with him right?" She asked the girls.

"Yup, Tyler’s a pretty open book. We know what we shouldn’t share and what we should share. The only thing we don’t know a lot about is his younger years but he doesn’t really know about ours either so it’s not a big deal," Amanda smiled.

’They don’t keep secrets but he hasn’t told them about his reincarnation,’ Alexandria thought with a smile. ’They’d think he was insane anyway. Probably better that way.’

"Well, I’m beat. Which room, Esper?" Tyler asked.

"Take the new penthouse on the top floor. It’s reserved for you." Esper said while throwing them each a key.

"Woah, seriously? Thanks Esper!" Tyler smirked.
