Life Game In Other World
Chapter 1908 - 1907: Tyrant
Vissen
"I felt the wrath of the Divine Being," Sulan lowered his gaze to He Ao, "What have you done?"
"Just some things I should do," He Ao smiled at him, "Maybe your Divine Being isn’t too pleased about it."
Sulan’s brow lowered, he lifted his gaze and glanced around, "Are you chatting with me here just to secretly make other arrangements?"
"Perhaps." He Ao raised his head and took a look at the rapidly descending rift of time-space distortion overhead.
At that moment, the gigantic helmet had once again appeared in his field of view.
The endless whispers were violently echoing in his mind.
He could even feel the slightly aggravated battle intent spreading in his heart, an attachment of the War God’s corruption.
Sulan was indeed summoning the War God’s remains to this space.
"Are you trying to obtain something from the War God’s remains?" He Ao gazed at Sulan before him, chuckling softly, "You received the War God’s ’Grace,’ became an Angel on the War God path, and now you try to dig your old master’s grave, hoping to scrape some food from your old master?"
"Denos, no matter how sharp-tongued you speak, no matter how many little tricks you do behind the scenes, it won’t change the fact you can do nothing now." Sulan chuckled, looking at He Ao.
He opened his hands, and the surging power instantly gathered in his palms.
The purple brilliance that linked all regions together burned fiercely at this moment, and the delicate Array emitted a terrifying aura.
Radiant brilliance converged on the Firmament, rushing toward the inverted rift in the sky.
That purple glow wrapped around the rift like chains.
"Denos, watch closely," Sulan lowered his head to gaze at He Ao, his smile growing larger, nearly turning into a sneer, "I’ve kept you alive all along for this moment, to let you witness it firsthand, soon I will surpass the Angel and enter the next Domain."
His laughter grew louder, causing the entire chaotic space to vibrate with this tearing sound, "You’ll never know how good a choice it is to work for a Divine Being; everything others dream of is within reach."
The radiant purple brilliance flickered, coalescing into endless mist. Amidst this mist, vague scenes began to emerge.
He Ao gazed at the indistinct scenes, recalling he had once glimpsed them before.
Outside those scenes, crimson light constructed a dense web of runes, resembling chains or sharp cuts, slicing through the scenes entirely.
Through these cuts, you could vaguely see the form behind them.
It was the Netherworld, a Netherworld wound created by the War God Power’s slicing.
In the last dungeon world, He Ao had intensified the War God Power cutting the Netherworld wound, leading the Grim Reaper’s plan to transmit Netherworld power through this wound to fail.
And now, this blurred wound appeared again in He Ao’s field of view.
This time, the orchestrator was no longer He Ao.
He Ao raised his gaze, quickly scanning the chaotic space and the three regions below.
The Netherworld, of course, wasn’t directly summoned; the interstitial space carried by Sulan served as the medium for summoning the Netherworld.
Therefore, Sulan previously tried to use the Coffin of Time to forcibly pull the War God’s Tomb into that interstitial space, thus directly allowing the Netherworld and War God’s Tomb to ’contact.’
After that plan failed, only then did the Grim Reaper have to initiate an alternative plan.
The Kovotra Ruins provided the Array’s foundation, Vissen was the altar, the interstitial space was the medium.
Through this method, as well as Sulan’s weaker connection with the War God, he forcibly pulled the Netherworld and War God’s Tomb together.
Thus, Sulan had to pull these key regions into this chaotic space, because in the stable time-space of the dungeon world, such a summoning would be more difficult and would attract the Federation Angel’s hindrance.
Several thoughts sorted through He Ao’s mind, gradually allowing him to understand the core structure of this mysticism ceremony.
He raised his head, watching the scene in the sky.
The blurred clouds had spread over the inverted rift, and the Netherworld’s power was attempting to invade the War God’s Tomb.
At this moment, radiant red light lit up within the tomb, emitting dazzling brilliance, forming an invisible barrier that kept the entire mist at bay.
Accompanied by the formation of this barrier, the mist quickly spread, attempting to thoroughly cover the barrier in the sky.
The mist, like corrosive acid, penetrated the interior of the red brilliance bit by bit, gradually eroding it.
Below, each region’s purple light shone with radiant splendor, pushing the ceremony with intense force and speeding up the process.
This certainly wasn’t Sulan’s merit.
The main force of this ceremony did not come from Sulan but directly from the Grim Reaper, with the decision-making entirely in the Grim Reaper’s hands.
Sulan was never in a hurry before, but suddenly became impatient now. Clearly, it wasn’t him who was anxious, but the Grim Reaper behind him.
It seems He Ao’s operations in Wint City made the Grim Reaper feel some crisis, accelerating the process.
He Ao raised his head to look at the giant War God’s Tomb above.
The tomb was now covered in dense fog.
The Grim Reaper placing the Netherworld and War God’s Tomb together surely wasn’t to come over for a reunion with an old buddy.
It was most likely attempting to use some method to completely erase the War God’s power remaining on the Netherworld, allowing the Netherworld to restore its integrity.
If that is truly to be realized, the safest moment would undoubtedly be when the War God’s Tomb was completely summoned.
Acting now, if the ceremony gets ruined, the War God’s Tomb might break free from the summoning, and the entire plan would fall through.
He Ao previously deduced this too, so he took advantage of the brief pause before the initial sacrifice started to deal with Yilan City and Wint City first, weakening the Grim Reaper’s setups and power.
Reality proved that his judgment was correct.
If the Grim Reaper controlled Alice and used the Eternal Divine Nation to channel power into the New Netherworld, then attempted to corrode the War God’s Tomb here, He Ao wouldn’t be able to handle the setups on both sides.
Although he could use multiple Character Cards simultaneously, his Soul entity was singular, the power of the Super Memory and Void Consciousness followed his Soul entity.
But he didn’t expect the situation in Wint City wasn’t fully resolved, causing the Grim Reaper to become anxious.
He Ao lifted his gaze, taking in the fully concealed mountain peak before stepping forward and charging toward Kovotra below.
The core array and power of the entire ritual were situated within these ancient Kovotra ruins. As long as he demolished the Kovotra ruins, the entire ritual would collapse immediately.
His movements were swift, approaching the deep pit ruins in an instant, but just as he was about to enter the ruins, his field of view suddenly blurred.
A wasteland constructed of bones appeared once again in his vision.
He did not fall into the Kovotra ruins but instead entered that interstitial space.
A huge red figure stood at the end of his view, lifting his head with a smile as he looked at him, "Big brother Denos, you sure like dreaming."
He raised his hand, intense red brilliance gathering in his hands, transforming into two flame-wrapped crimson blades, as he looked at He Ao, "Did you think I would let your plan succeed so easily?"
He Ao’s figure sliced through the sky, stabilizing above the firmament.
His gaze lifted, scanning the surrounding space, as purple brilliance flashed across his sight.
The fractures spanning this space, caused by the previous ritual failure and the tremors of the War God Power, were now completely repaired.
A steady stream of power seemed to continually replenish this interstitial space, most likely sourced from the Netherworld.
This space was far more stable than he had imagined.
The difficulty in destroying this space would be extraordinarily high.
"Feeling your own helplessness?" Yet ahead, Sulan merely lowered his head, laughing slightly derisively, "I’m not that fool Alice, who delivered her soul directly to you without even the chance to summon Divine Grace before being sneak-attacked and taken out."
He opened his hands, and blazing flames erupted instantly from within his body.
These flames fell upon the ground, as skeletons and Witch Demons clawed their way out, immediately becoming cloaked in flames.
As these intense flames burned, their bodies instantly expanded, transforming into enormous Skull Giants, Witch Demon Giants towering at twenty-three meters.
Then, three Cerberus dashed out from behind Sulan, catching his flames and instantly becoming fully enveloped by fire, expanding into colossal hunting dogs towering a hundred meters.
Threads of firelight from these Cerberus dropped onto the wasteland, rapidly morphing into flame-enveloped gigantic hunting dogs.
These skeletons and hunting dogs overlapped densely, their flame-wrapped bodies emanating scorching heat waves, all staring at He Ao.
Sulan sneered as he looked at He Ao, "The power of the Divine Being has always been with me, already fused into me, as long as within the realm covered by Netherworld’s power, Divine Being’s support is inexhaustible,"
He lifted his hand and suddenly swung it forward, "What do you fight me with?"
As his hand stretched forward, the Netherworld beings below wrapped in flames rushed towards He Ao without hesitation.
Rapid flames swept across He Ao’s face in an instant.
He Ao lifted his head, glancing at the foremost Netherworld beings.
Almost in an instant, these Netherworld beings turned their direction, charging towards their comrades behind.
Boom—
Violent firelight exploded between heaven and earth; it was the sound of a giant skeletal undead lifting a bone sword, shattering a Flame Hunting Dog.
Immediately, dense brilliance lit up between heaven and earth, scattering into a series of explosions.
That was the sound of Sulan’s Netherworld legion mutual slaughtering.
"Cognitive modification?" Sulan lowered his gaze towards He Ao, coldly laughing, "These creatures are all carrying my cognitive barriers, which aren’t so easily breached, let’s see how many you can change."
He raised his hand again, pulsating flames landed on the earth, endless skeletons and Witch Demons crawled up from the ground, endless Flame Hunting Dogs emerged from the void.
"Ahhh!!!"
Accompanied by a furious roar, a massive figure surged up from the land; it was a giant Rock Demon.
Then in an instant, blazing flames fell upon this Rock Demon, enveloping it fiercely.
Also, as the flames ignited in the moment, the Rock Demon rushed out violently, delivering a punch to a nearby flame-burning Cerberus.
The surrounding Cerberus immediately charged in, tearing the Rock Demon apart.
But the next instant, these Cerberus began slaughtering each other.
Sulan coldly watched this, keeping his hand raised, and from behind him, endless undead creatures, Cerberus, and demons charged out, tainted with flames, possessing terrifying might, rushing towards He Ao.
He smiled, watching He Ao: "Denos, you don’t know how many undead are in the Netherworld; it’s the destiny of all life in the whole cosmic starry sky. I have ample time to drag it out with you, only as long as your spirit and soul still have power."
He paused momentarily in his tone, lifting his head to glance above, smiling, "But the city you protect is soon to vanish."
He Ao lifted his head, looking towards the sky.
The clouds in the sky had dissipated, revealing Vissen covered in a purple brilliance.
"Don’t you find it interesting?" Sulan’s voice continued ringing in his ears, "It adds a sense of closure to your regret,"
He raised his hand, pointing at the empty Kovotra ruins, "You surely didn’t see the sight of Kovotra’s destruction back then, didn’t see those precious ones turning into the true state of sacrificial blood mist, did you?"
Then he looked at Vissen enveloped by the purple brilliance array, "Now, you get to see it, the boy you picked, along with his family, will be just like your son, your grandson,"
He slightly opened his hands, "Bang, exploded, turning into my further advancement’s materials."
He curled his lips into a smile, "I think your judgment was right, Kovotra is indeed a good place, before it supported me to join the ranks of the Eternity, now it’s pushing me further, stepping to the top of the cosmos, it’s just that there are too many Angels in this broken place, everywhere are obstructions, otherwise, I would have sacrificed half the world for an even better effect."
He paused in his tone, "Hey, why aren’t you speaking? Haven’t seen the sacrificial scenes, or a bit regretful?"
He raised his hand; the light covering the entire city opened a little gap, exposing Anke collapsed on the street, "Come, I’ll open a live broadcast for you, look at this guy, does he look familiar to you?"
Buzz—
Before his words completely fell, a black sword light sliced through the firmament, reaching his forefront.
He gazed at the figure appearing in front of him, halting his action, his lips curling into a slight smile, "Do you know my Talent Sequence? It’s Talent Sequence 245: Tyrant,"
His voice suddenly amplified, a booming sound echoing between heaven and earth, "Upon meeting a monarch, why not kneel?"
