Chapter 1346: Giving Reward to Nightfire’s Hard work: Part-3
“Oh… My… Fuck,” Nightfire muttered, mouth dropping open at the sight before her.
Far below, volcanic mountains rose jagged and ominous, rivers of molten lava glowing red-hot as they flowed in slow, sensual ribbons down their slopes. Beneath those peaks, a dark river cut through the mountain range, the lava seeping into the water and filling the entire valley with drifting clouds of hot, smoky mist. The clouds twisted and glowed, shrouding everything in mystery and light… it looked as if the entire room was floating on the edge of another world!
It was so mesmerizing that Nightfire, for a second, forgot to breathe. Her heart thudded hard as she pressed up to the window, eyes wide with wonder.
“Do you like it?” Victor asked, watching her closely.
Nightfire hummed and nodded her head, fighting a smile, not wanting to let too much slip. “That’s good… I mean, I haven’t seen something like this before,” she replied, trying to play it cool since the owner was still standing near, even as her fingers clutched the table with excitement.
The owner still smiled softly and asked them to sit. She handed over a menu card, her voice gentle and respectful as she asked for their order.
Nightfire glanced at the owner with a surprised look, but simply said, “Surprise me,” her tone smooth and calm as she handed the menu back.
Victor raised his eyebrows, surprised and a little amused by Nightfire’s words. He nodded in agreement, “The same for me. Surprise us.”The owner nodded with understanding and, after a gracious bow, walked away—leaving Nightfire and Victor alone in the surreal, glowing room.
Nightfire leaned in, curiosity in her eyes and her tone playful, “You cannot just make an owner act like a waitress, you know!”
Victor shrugged with that infuriating, confident ease. “I can… I mean, I am their almighty Dragon Emperor, right?” He grinned at her, wicked and smug.
Nightfire stared at him for a few seconds, lips pursed, eyes smouldering with mischief and impatience.
“Can we fuck now?” she asked bluntly, her tone dead serious, her eyes burning with need.
Victor met her stare with a deadpan expression. “Nope,” he replied/
Nightfire growled, cheeks puffed with frustration as she glared at the mountain view. Victor chuckled softly, the sound making her pulse race.
“I know you’re really holding back,” he teased, voice dropping to a wicked whisper, “but believe me… it tastes so goooddd~ when you hold back~” He dragged out the words.
“Yup, you’re definitely a sadist!” Nightfire retorted, her tone annoyed as she kept pouting, still transfixed by the landscape.
’What do you think?’ Nightfire asked inwardly.
’Uh? Why are you asking me that?’ Ashara replied, her voice ringing dryly inside Nightfire’s mind.
’Well duh, you’ve been with me this whole time!’ Nightfire shot back with a roll of her eyes.
’…It’s good,’ Ashara responded, sounding half-embarrassed.
’Just good?’ Nightfire pressed.
’Arrh! Fine… It’s awesome, okay!’ Ashara groaned, finally admitting it.
Nightfire smiled, lips quirking in a smirking expression. ’So… you want to switch places?’
’Huh? Hell no!’ Ashara shouted, a sharp jolt of panic in her voice. ’That would be the freaking most awkward thing ever!’
Nightfire hummed with a tiny, pleased shrug, amusement flickering across her features. She watched the room and Victor, the tension between her thighs growing stronger with every heartbeat.
Soon, the owner arrived, her smile serene, followed by a waitress holding steaming plates, the scents of exotic spices and rich flavours filling the room.
The owner waved her hand with a graceful flourish as the waitress stepped forward and lifted the silver lid. Instantly, a coil of delicate white smoke drifted up from the dishes, swirling in the golden light before vanishing.
“Heaven’s Exotic Cuisine!” the owner announced with a proud, radiant smile, her eyes gleaming.
“This… is the Heaven’s Heart!”
Nightfire and Victor stared, wide-eyed, as a massive, glistening heart was revealed on the plate…. its surface perfectly seared, deep red and gold. Their surprise only deepened when the waitress, without hesitation, sliced the heart open with a small knife. A thick, perfumed steam billowed out, richer and hotter than before, and suddenly a rush of intoxicating aroma filled the air. Out from the cut, golden pearls—small, glistening balls—spilled onto the plate, slick with a glowing yellow liquid that looked almost magical.
Nightfire and Victor both gulped unconsciously as the scent hit them.
Victor leaned forward, eyes bright with curiosity and hunger. “What’s this?” he asked.
The owner, beaming with pride, explained in a rich, reverent tone, “It’s the Heart of the Molten Beast—cooked with rare Golden Fish eggs, harvested from rivers flowing through molten lava. A delicacy found only in the highest heavens, reserved for those capable of accepting it”
“Oh? That’s… incredible. I never knew something like that existed,” Victor murmured, genuinely impressed. He glanced at Nightfire, then back at the dish, and added, “Can I… get a few more? Of course, I’ll pay for them—”
“No, no, Dragon Emperor!” the owner exclaimed, shaking her head vigorously.
“It is our greatest honor to be chosen by you. Just your presence here is worth more than any gold or jewel. In fact, I already feel guilty that you had to pay for the entire hotel just for tonight—”
“Whole hotel?” Nightfire interrupted sharply, eyebrows drawn together in a frown of disbelief.
The owner blinked, startled, then glanced anxiously at Victor, “D-Did I misspeak, your Majesty?”
Victor sighed, running a hand through his hair, while Nightfire glared, demanding an answer with her eyes. The owner remained silent, sweating bullets, until Victor waved his hand in permission.
“Yes… you might have noticed, but there are no other guests. Today, the entire hotel—all rooms, every staff member—was reserved exclusively by our Dragon Emperor,” she explained, her voice a mix of awe and fear.
Nightfire raised her eyebrows, turning to Victor in utter shock, “Entire hotel? Really?” Her gaze swept around the luxurious room, taking in every opulent detail.
It was obvious nothing about this place came cheap.
“What about the people in the dancing room?” Nightfire pressed.
“That’s our staff, Majesty,” the owner replied with a respectful bow. “Every person you saw tonight is part of our team, trained for your event.”
Nightfire blinked again, then asked the question burning in her mind, “Then… what is the cost of—”
“There is no need,” Victor cut in smoothly, but Nightfire only narrowed her eyes and fixed the owner with a sharp stare,
“How much?”
The owner looked between Victor and Nightfire, face paling as sweat beaded on her brow. She looked ready to bolt, but Victor waved his hand again, allowing her to answer.
With a trembling breath, the owner bowed and whispered,
“Well… It’s ten million—MAJESTY!”
She yelped, voice rising in panic as Nightfire’s eyes rolled back and she fainted in her chair.
“Oufff!”
