Chapter 1345: Giving Reward to Nightfire’s Hard work: Part-2

Next, Victor and Nightfire were led to a huge hall that was covered with warm lights, and chandeliers were hanging on the ceiling, glittering with warm light all around—so magical and… romantic?

“Hmm…” Nightfire hummed, taking in the shimmering glow that clung to her skin, catching in her hair, making everything feel unreal. She glanced at Victor, who was staring at her with an amused expression.

“You really went all out, didn’t you?” Her voice was low, playful, but the glint in her eyes gave away a flicker of excitement.

Victor shrugged with a small, knowing smile. Honestly, she deserved all this and more. He remembered seeing her broken, shattered after she put her life on the line for him, risking everything, even though she didn’t like a single moment of it.

Compared to that, this was nothing… She deserved a night painted with stars.

As they walked inside the grand hall, suddenly, people wearing sleek, dark suits entered the hall too. They moved almost silently, falling into pairs around the edges of the floor, everyone keeping to the shadows, leaving only the centre bare… like the stage of some secret, royal performance.

“What’s going on here?” Nightfire blinked in surprise, eyes darting from face to face.

Where did all these people come from?

“Don’t worry, just focus on me,” Victor said, voice velvet-smooth as he stepped in closer. As he snapped his finger, music swelled out of nowhere—deep, slow, hauntingly beautiful—and the people who stood in pairs suddenly began to dance.

Their movements were fluid, otherworldly, as if enchanted; every turn and sway meant to mesmerise.

Nightfire blinked. Then, only she understood where she was…

“Oh!!” She flinched, heartbeat jumping, when she saw Victor dropping gracefully onto one knee in front of her. For a wild second, she thought he was going to lick her here, right in front of everyone, devour her with his mouth… her skin prickled at the thought.

But to her ’disappointment’… he only looked up at her with wicked eyes and asked,

“May I have the honour to dance with you, my lady?” His words caressed her like silk, the sound threading through the music, all seductive and enigmatic.

Any girl would have melted, would have said yes without thinking. But Nightfire only stared, suddenly struck by panic and longing both.

/Fuck! I don’t know how to dance!/ she screamed into their silent connection.

Victor just smiled, utterly unbothered, and lifted his hand.

Nightfire sighed, rolling her eyes, “Of course, my King~”

Victor slowly pulled her into the centre of the room as the people around them danced quietly, their bodies moving like living shadows. Every step echoed, the space growing smaller, more intimate. Nightfire’s heart was hammering faster and faster; she didn’t know what to do… she didn’t understand if she was supposed to dance or just fuck off and run away!

This was going to be awkward in the end anyway… just as her mind was tangled in panic and need, she suddenly flinched when his hand slid—hot, sure—onto her hip.

He pulled her closer, his body pressed flush to hers, his breath heating the shell of her ear as he whispered, “Just trust me with your body, darling~” The sound of his voice made her knees threaten to buckle.

Nightfire felt goosebumps chase up her spine when she heard his seductive words. She let out a throaty, amused chuckle and leaned closer, their lips nearly brushing. She whispered back, seductive and teasing, “I did that long ago, my perverted dragon~” Her words danced between them, smoky and electric.

Victor and Nightfire smirked at each other, heat flashing in their eyes. Then Victor’s legs began to move to the rhythm, his hands guiding her—one firm at her waist, the other gentle at her hand. The music pulsed through the floor, through their bodies, through every inch of skin.

Initially, Nightfire struggled to keep up, her body stiff with nerves and longing,

’Left, right… shit, left again… right… arrh… then left!’ she groaned inwardly, her eyes dropping to the floor as she tried not to step on his toes, breath shallow, blood roaring in her ears.

Victor, of course, noticed her struggle instantly. He giggled, a sound deep and dangerous, warm breath ghosting her cheek, and Nightfire gave him a dead glare,

“Sadist!” she snapped.

Victor blinked, feigning shock and innocence, but his smile betrayed him. “Now that’s offending,” he whispered, pulling her tighter, making her forget every other pair of eyes in the room as the world spun, music and light blurring, every step leading to something dark and dazzling…. something just for them.

He wasn’t enjoying her suffering; rather, he was loving her awkward steps and her stubborn attempts to act cool… she was so cute when she wasn’t haughty and naughty!

Her uncertainty made him want her even more.

Victor lifted her chin, his touch gentle yet commanding, and said, “Look only at me~” he whispered like an enchanter weaving a spell, voice low and hypnotic. She was entranced as she stared into his eyes, unable to move, their faces so close she could feel the heat radiating off his skin. Without realising it, her feet fell into step with Victor’s—she followed his lead instinctively, her body obeying him as if he held the strings.

Both of them drifted into their own world… staring into each other’s eyes deeply as the music slowed, their movement growing languid, intimate. The warm lighting washed over their faces, soft golden shadows playing across their features, enough to enchant them completely—nothing existed beyond this enchanted circle.

“You dance better than I expected,” Victor commented, his eyes never leaving hers.

“Uh? You mean I didn’t step on your toes?” Nightfire replied in her blunt tone, rolling her eyes.

Then she heard his next words.

“No… Just on my heart~” Victor murmured, a sly grin on his lips.

Her eyes darted away, cheeks flushing a fierce crimson as she stared at him, heat rising in her chest. ’I hate this perverted asshole!!! ARRH!!’ she screamed inwardly, her mind a riot of embarrassment and desire.

Victor giggled, feeling her love thrumming through their connection. Honestly, she was doing great—she hadn’t learned to dance, but she was already matching his movements, letting the music and his touch guide her. It was impressive.

Did she even understand what she was really capable of?

“So what do you think?” Victor asked, voice coaxing, eyes glinting with mischief and care.

Nightfire finally managed to look back into his eyes and said, “Well…” Her gaze flicked around the room, noticing that everyone was still there, eyes glancing their way. She leaned into his neck, letting her lips brush his skin, and whispered,

“I am fucking horny right now!” Her eyes glowed dangerously as she pulled back, tongue wetting her lips, her hunger barely restrained.

Victor chuckled, voice low and amused, “That’s not how you express your happiness, you know…”

Nightfire’s mouth widened, a flash of her monstrous side showing in her sharp teeth and dark, hungry gaze. “That’s how a succubus would express it, my dear~” she teased, letting her long tongue snake out to lick his cheek with a sensual flick.

Victor laughed even more, warmth and wickedness in his eyes. Suddenly, his grip tightened around her waist, making her flinch as her monstrous side faded with a gasp.

“Now you’ve got to hold it back~” he murmured, and with a sudden, graceful tilt, he spun her by the wrist. She twirled, caught off guard, the room blurring for an instant.

She blinked, dizzy, and before she could even gather her thoughts, he yanked her back—pulling her into his arms, their bodies colliding.

“This is what you get for now~” he said with a sly smile, then leaned in and caught her lips in a quick, heated kiss.

And then, just as their lips parted, the music finally stopped. Everyone in the hall froze for a moment, then bowed their heads and began to clap.

Nightfire flinched from the kiss, her breath stolen, then shoved him away with an embarrassed laugh. Her cheeks were beet red, burning hot, and she stepped back quickly. “I-I am hungry!” she stammered, trying to regain control, but her eyes were still wild with emotion.

Victor smiled softly, a deep, pleased look on his face. “Well, we have a place for that too,” he said as he clapped his hands. The owner appeared from the shadows and, with a graceful bow, guided them out of the dazzling dancing hall.

While walking, Nightfire’s heart was truly on fire—her mind racing.

First, she saw a play that stirred emotions she hadn’t felt in years, then a dance that brought their bodies and hearts so close… too close. Every step away from the hall made her ache for more, the memory of his hands and lips haunting her with every heartbeat.

And then that soft kiss, paired with his tender words… it was controlling all of her emotions, overwhelming her, making her tremble on the edge.

’Yup, I am definitely going to rape him!’ She thought, her expression turning dangerous as she struggled to calm the demon inside her.

Soon, the owner led them to another grand room—this one even more exquisite, with only a single table in the centre and a breathtaking view of—

“Oh… My… Fuck,” Nightfire muttered, mouth dropping open at the sight before her.
