Chapter 440: Chapter 416: Mortal Godslaying (Pseudo)! Reputation System

His eyes, clear once more, shone with a near-feverish, excited light.

However, the source of this emotional turmoil was not the faint but warm Divine Favor Power of Shuni flowing through him again, nor was it the wrinkles that had quietly faded or his restored Life Energy.

His entire attention was firmly locked on the thick notebook in his hands.

More precisely, it was focused on the blank space on the notebook’s final page, just below the name "Galvis," which he had signed with his own hand.

The soft light that had previously gathered did not dissipate. Instead, as if possessing life and will of its own, it transformed into a translucent quill pen made of pure luminescence.

This Pen of Light, held by no one, danced elegantly and firmly across the blank page on its own, leaving behind lines of clear, fluid ink that seemed to contain a kind of Law Power.

[In the year the new era began, within the ruins of the Eternal Song Forest, the mortal Roland, with common steel and will, saw through illusion and defeated the remnant soul of the Pseudo-God Corellon here.]

As the final character was written, the luminous quill and the ink together dissolved into specks of warm, glowing particles.

As if alive, they gently merged into the notebook’s pages, as if they had always belonged there, becoming an inseparable part of the epic.

And in that very instant, a tremor ran through Galvis.

A gentle yet irresistible warm current suddenly surged within him.

This did not originate from Shuni’s Divine Favor, but from some older, more fundamental "Rule" itself, silently pouring into the depths of his soul.

Although he felt no surge in Power, he clearly perceived that his connection to the land beneath his feet and to the countless stories flowing through the river of history had become tighter and clearer than ever before.

A realization dawned in his heart.

He, Galvis, was no longer merely a recorder and singer of stories.

He had been "certified" by this land, by this legend itself, truly stepping into that fabled order capable of invoking miracles with poems and songs, of glimpsing the threads of fate...

The ranks of the official Minstrels.

But the effects of this were not limited to Galvis alone.

In the center of the battlefield ruins, just as Roland took a deep breath, preparing to answer Avril’s question, something strange happened. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ

His vision blurred for an instant without any warning.

Immediately after, lines of golden text abruptly appeared in the air before him, obscuring Avril’s concerned face.

This sudden influx of information made Roland freeze for a moment.

He subconsciously tried to focus, to read and understand the meaning behind these cold words.

However, at this moment, he was already at the end of his rope.

Forcibly activating the Primordial Core, undergoing complete Dragonification, and finally unleashing that one strike beyond his limits had already squeezed his stamina, energy, and even his willpower to their absolute extremes.

The moment his mind relaxed even slightly, the fatigue and weakness he had been forcibly suppressing instantly overwhelmed his fragile hold on consciousness.

The golden text in his vision began to distort and dissipate, and the sounds around him became distant and muffled.

He felt the world spin. The last shred of strength supporting his body abruptly vanished, and he collapsed backward uncontrollably.

The expected pain of hitting the ground never came. He fell into a warm embrace, one that carried a familiar, pleasant scent.

Avril’s panicked and anxious cries seemed to pass through a thick curtain of water, indistinctly reaching his consciousness as it was about to be swallowed by Darkness.

"Roland? Roland! What’s wrong? Wake up!"

Her voice was the last thing he perceived from the outside world before he sank into endless darkness.
