KIL FUL KING
Chapter 58: CHP 58: THE BATTLE OF SEEMA
Chapter 58 — Seema’s 75% Luck: The Battle Inside the Void
The enormous crater trembled beneath the pressure of Juyew’s power. Dust filled the air, and the remains of the abandoned village lay scattered across the battlefield.
Seema stood several metres away from Juyew, her extended sword slowly returning to its normal length. Her Roller Spin symbol had disappeared, but the result of her spin had already changed the entire battle.
She smiled confidently.
"Okay, Juyew! I got 75% Luck!"
Juyew glanced at her, wiping the blood from his face.
Seema pointed her sword toward him.
"Now, start counting down to your defeat!"
Juyew burst into laughter.
"HAHAHA! You really believe a little increase in your stats will let you defeat me?"
"Not a little increase," Seema replied. "A thirty-percent increase in all my combat stats!"
Her body flashed forward.
Juyew immediately threw a powerful punch toward her face, expecting to catch her before she could react. But Seema tilted her head and slipped past his fist with astonishing speed.
Juyew’s eyes widened.
She’s faster than before!
Seema appeared beside him and drove her fist into his face.
BOOM!
Juyew was knocked sideways. His feet scraped across the broken ground as he struggled to regain his balance.
He touched his mouth and looked at the blood on his fingers.
For a moment, he stared at it in silence.
Then he smiled.
"So your strength has increased too."
Seema rolled her shoulder and raised her sword.
"Didn’t I tell you? Your defeat is coming."
Juyew’s smile slowly disappeared.
"Then let’s see how long you can keep that confidence."
He raised both hands.
"VOID BURST!"
The Battlefield Becomes Void
A wave of darkness erupted from Juyew’s body.
It spread across the battlefield at incredible speed, swallowing the ground, the broken rocks, and the remaining fragments of the abandoned village. The entire area transformed into a vast void, with darkness stretching in every direction.
The air became heavy.
Seema suddenly felt as though the space around her was pressing against her body. Her breathing grew difficult, and she struggled to draw in enough air.
Juyew stood in the centre of the darkness.
"Welcome to my void."
Seema placed one hand against her chest, forcing herself to remain calm.
This environment is affecting my breathing. If I waste time, I’ll lose my advantage.
Juyew extended his hand.
"Inside this space, I decide how the battle proceeds."
Seema’s expression hardened.
"Then I’ll change the battlefield myself."
She raised her sword.
"BLOSSOM!"
Ten energy roses appeared around her blade.
They immediately broke apart into countless rose-shaped projectiles, which then fragmented into microscopic particles. The tiny particles spread throughout the void, forming a vast storm of destructive energy.
Everything in their path began disappearing.
Juyew moved at once.
He dodged the main wave, shifting between the incoming attacks. However, the sheer number of particles made it impossible to avoid every single one.
Several tiny particles struck his arms and legs, cutting through his damaged clothing and leaving fresh wounds on his skin.
Juyew landed several metres away and examined his injuries.
His expression became serious.
This attack is dangerous. There are too many tiny particles. Even if I avoid the main attack, the smaller fragments can still cut through almost anything.
Seema watched him carefully.
"I told you, Juyew. I’m going to make sure you stop!"
She rushed forward.
Seema’s Close-Combat Advantage
Seema attacked before Juyew could prepare another technique.
Her first punch struck his guard. She immediately followed with a kick toward his side, then turned and delivered another strike before he could fully recover.
Juyew blocked the next punch, but the force pushed him backward.
He attempted to counterattack.
Seema ducked beneath his arm and struck him across the face.
Her increased speed allowed her to change direction rapidly, while her increased strength made every successful hit more dangerous.
Juyew finally understood the problem.
Her raw physical power has become greater than mine while her luck enhancement remains active.
Seema continued pressing forward.
She launched a powerful kick, forcing Juyew to raise his arms defensively. Before he could retaliate, she swung her sword.
The blade cut across his stomach.
Blood appeared along the wound, and Juyew immediately stepped away.
Seema didn’t give him time to recover.
"What’s wrong? Where did all that confidence go?"
Juyew pressed his hand against the injury.
His body began restoring itself, and the wound gradually closed.
"You have impressive power," he admitted. "But you seem to have forgotten something."
Seema narrowed her eyes.
"And what’s that?"
Juyew lifted his head.
"You’re still fighting inside my Dominion."
His energy surged.
"And I haven’t shown you everything."
Void Eternal Bite
Juyew spread his arms.
"VOID ETERNAL BITE!"
The darkness around Seema suddenly twisted.
Before she could escape, the space beneath her opened like an enormous mouth. Dark energy rose around her body, surrounding her from every direction.
Seema tried to extend her sword, but the darkness swallowed the weapon’s path and pulled her into the depths of the Dominion.
Her surroundings disappeared.
When she opened her eyes again, she was standing in a familiar place.
A place she had hoped never to see again.
Her breathing stopped for a moment.
"No..."
Before her stood the memories she had tried to bury. Painful moments from her past appeared around her, replaying with terrifying clarity. The voices, the faces, and the feelings she had struggled to overcome surrounded her.
Juyew’s voice echoed through the darkness.
"Inside this technique, your mind becomes your greatest enemy. Your own memories will trap you, and the longer you remain here, the harder it becomes to distinguish the illusion from reality."
Seema looked around, her expression tense.
Her trauma was being used against her.
For a moment, she felt herself losing control.
Then she closed her eyes.
No. This is not reality.
She remembered who she was, where she had come from, and the people who were depending on her.
Juyew wants me to believe I’m trapped. He wants me to surrender to the illusion.
She took a slow breath.
"I know what you’re doing."
The illusion intensified, but Seema refused to accept it as real.
She focused on the connection between her mind and the Dominion, searching for a way to break free.
Then she made a desperate decision: she turned her power against the illusion of herself, using the imagined ending of that false self to reject the hypnosis.
The illusion shattered.
Seema opened her eyes.
She was back inside Juyew’s Dominion.
But the moment she returned, she felt the consequences of the technique.
Her body was badly damaged. Her clothes were torn, her arms were covered in injuries, and her breathing was uneven. The fight had taken a heavy toll while her mind was trapped.
Juyew stood directly in front of her.
"Welcome back."
Seema struggled to stand straight.
"You... won’t... defeat me."
Juyew gave a cold smile.
"Still talking?"
The Endless Pressure
"VOID ABYSS!"
Darkness erupted beneath Seema’s feet.
She jumped aside, narrowly escaping the first surge, but Juyew immediately followed with another attack.
"VOID CONTINUOUS SLAM!"
An enormous pressure crashed down on her.
Seema dropped to one knee as the force struck her body. The ground beneath her fractured, and the pressure continued without giving her a chance to recover.
She tried to stand.
Another wave hit.
Then another.
Each successive impact weakened her further. Her arms trembled, her legs struggled to support her, and the pain throughout her body made it increasingly difficult to move.
Juyew watched her struggle.
"You’re still standing because of your endurance and that thirty-percent increase in your stats."
He walked closer.
"If your Roller Spin had given you a lower result, you would already have been defeated."
Seema gritted her teeth.
"Maybe..."
She forced herself upright.
"But you made one mistake."
Juyew tilted his head.
"Oh?"
Seema raised her sword.
"You assumed that because I’m injured, I’ve stopped fighting."
Her Roller Spin advantage was still active.
She took a step forward.
Then she accelerated.
Juyew’s eyes widened as Seema rushed toward him at full speed.
She swung her sword repeatedly, launching a storm of slashes from different angles. Juyew dodged the first few attacks, twisting his body and shifting through the void.
But Seema’s speed and strength had become too great for him to avoid every strike.
One slash cut across his arm.
Another struck his shoulder.
A third forced him backward, leaving a wound across his side.
Juyew’s expression hardened.
Seema kept attacking, refusing to let him regain control.
"THIS IS FOR EVERYONE YOU’VE HURT!"
She swung again.
Juyew dodged the blade, but another slash struck his damaged clothing and left a fresh wound.
For the first time, Seema was forcing him to fight defensively inside his own Dominion.
Yet she was reaching her limits.
Her breathing was ragged, and every movement sent pain through her injured body.
She knew she couldn’t maintain this pace forever.
She needed to end the Dominion.
And someone outside it had just realised the same thing.
Kil Ful Breaks the Dominion
Outside the darkness, Kil Ful slowly pushed himself to his feet.
His body was badly injured, and his White Aura had almost completely faded. He could barely stand straight, but he could still sense the energy surrounding the battlefield.
He looked at Juyew’s Dominion.
Seema is still fighting inside.
He clenched his fist.
If I keep attacking Juyew directly, I’ll only give him another chance to use his abilities. I need to break the Dominion from outside.
Kil Ful took a deep breath.
He gathered the remaining energy he could control and concentrated it into his right fist.
"PUNCH BEAM!"
He thrust his fist forward.
A concentrated beam of energy shot toward the Dominion’s boundary.
CRAAAAACK!
The beam struck the dark surface.
For a moment, nothing happened.
Then a crack of light appeared.
The crack spread rapidly across the Dominion, branching into countless fractures. The darkness trembled as Kil Ful continued forcing energy into the attack.
Inside the Dominion, Juyew suddenly looked upward.
"What?!"
The dark space began breaking apart.
Someone is attacking my Dominion from outside! But who could—
He stopped.
His eyes narrowed.
"Kil Ful..."
The Dominion shattered.
Darkness burst outward and dissolved into the air, revealing the devastated crater beneath the open sky.
Seema stood several metres away from Juyew, barely able to remain upright. Kil Ful was visible in the distance, breathing heavily after breaking the technique.
Juyew’s expression turned furious.
"You little insect!"
He disappeared from Seema’s sight and rushed toward Kil Ful.
"YOU DARE DESTROY MY DOMINION?!"
Juyew drew back his fist, preparing to strike Kil Ful while he was exhausted.
But Seema moved first.
She stepped between them and blocked Juyew’s punch with her sword.
CLANG!
The impact sent a shock through her arms, but she held her position.
"Where do you think you’re going?" Seema asked.
Juyew’s eyes narrowed.
"You’re still interfering?"
Seema twisted her body and delivered a powerful kick to his side.
Juyew staggered.
Kil Ful seized the opportunity and stepped forward, driving a punch into Juyew’s face.
The strike landed cleanly.
Juyew stumbled backward, his expression darkening as he wiped the blood from his mouth.
For a brief moment, Kil Ful and Seema stood side by side.
Both were injured.
Both were exhausted.
But neither had surrendered.
Juyew looked from Seema to Kil Ful.
Then he smiled.
"Now, Kil Ful..."
His energy began gathering around him.
"Your turn is over."
Void Destruction — The Three Miniature Voids
Juyew extended his hand.
"VOID DESTRUCTION!"
Three miniature black holes appeared around Kil Ful.
Kil Ful’s eyes widened.
He immediately tried to move away, but his injuries slowed his reaction. The three voids shifted around him, cutting off his escape routes.
He leapt to the side.
One miniature void followed.
He changed direction, but the second moved to intercept him. The third began pulling him toward its centre, dragging loose stones and broken pieces of the ground along with it.
Kil Ful twisted his body and tried to escape the pull.
"Damn it!"
He pushed energy into his legs and accelerated, narrowly avoiding the first two attacks.
But Juyew moved behind him.
Before Kil Ful could react, Juyew grabbed him by the front of his torn clothes.
Kil Ful struggled.
"LET GO OF ME!"
Juyew smiled coldly.
"Did you really think you could break my Dominion and walk away?"
Kil Ful struck at his arm, but his strength was fading rapidly.
The three miniature voids moved closer.
Juyew held Kil Ful firmly as the darkness converged on him.
The attacks struck.
Kil Ful’s body stiffened as the energy overwhelmed him. His remaining strength disappeared, and his eyes slowly closed.
He lost consciousness.
Juyew released his grip and threw Kil Ful aside. Kil Ful landed on the broken ground and remained motionless.
Seema’s expression changed.
"Kil Ful!"
She started toward him, but Juyew stepped into her path.
"Don’t worry," he said with a smile. "I’ll get back to him later."
He raised his hand toward Seema.
"Right now, you’re the one standing in front of me."
Seema looked at Kil Ful one last time.
Then she turned back toward Juyew.
Her body was battered, her breathing was strained, and her Roller Spin advantage would not last forever.
Yet she smiled.
"Okay, Juyew."
She raised her sword.
"Try your best."
Her eyes sharpened.
"YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME!"
Juyew laughed as darkness began gathering around his body once more.
The battle between Seema and Juyew had reached its most dangerous stage.
And with Kil Ful unconscious, Seema was now standing alone against the Transcendent.
