Chapter 57 — The True Power of Juyew

The dust covered the entire battlefield.

The abandoned village had completely disappeared beneath the destruction caused by Kil Ful’s Fist of Light. Not a single house remained standing. The roads, buildings, and surrounding structures had been replaced by a massive crater that stretched across the entire village.

At the centre of the destruction, Kil Ful stood with his head lowered, breathing heavily. His clothes were torn, his body was injured, and his White Aura had almost disappeared.

He looked at his right fist.

A little White Aura is still left.

He slowly clenched his hand.

But I won’t waste it yet. If Juyew survives that attack, I’ll have to fight him in my base form. I need to save whatever energy I can.

Kil Ful raised his head and stared into the dust.

"Come on, Juyew. Don’t tell me that was enough to finish you."

The wind began to blow across the battlefield.

Slowly, the dust started clearing.

Seema stood at a distance, watching the crater with concern. Ravian remained beside her, while Morry was still recovering from the enormous impact. Bek stood several metres away, his attention fixed on the same location.

Then they saw him.

Juyew was lying inside the crater.

His black clothes were badly damaged, his body was covered in injuries, and blood ran down his face. The smile that had always rested on his face was completely gone.

For several seconds, he remained motionless.

Then his fingers moved.

He slowly lifted his head.

"You little insect..."

His voice was filled with anger.

"How can you deliver such a powerful attack?"

Juyew placed one hand against the ground and forced himself to stand. His legs trembled slightly, but he refused to fall. Despite his injuries, his eyes were fixed on Kil Ful.

Kil Ful stared back at him.

For the first time, Juyew’s expression showed genuine anger rather than amusement.

He wiped the blood from his face and began walking toward Kil Ful.

"You have forced me to take you seriously."

His energy started rising.

"Now it’s my turn to show you my full power."

Kil Ful tightened his fists.

"Finally."

Juyew stopped walking.

"Don’t celebrate too early."

The atmosphere suddenly changed.

Black Hole

Juyew raised his right hand toward the sky.

"BLACK HOLE!"

A massive black sphere appeared above the battlefield.

At first, it seemed like an ordinary sphere of darkness. But within seconds, its gravity began increasing at an unbelievable rate. The ground shook violently, and enormous cracks spread throughout the crater.

Loose stones lifted into the air.

Then the stones began flying toward the black sphere.

The remains of buildings, broken pieces of the ground, and clouds of dust were all dragged upward. Even the earth itself began breaking apart as the black hole pulled everything toward its centre.

Seema’s eyes widened.

"Everyone, hold your ground!"

Ravian immediately tried to control the force acting on himself and Morry, while Bek moved away from the strongest part of the pull.

Kil Ful’s body began sliding across the ground.

"What the hell is this pressure?!"

He drove his sword into the earth and gripped its handle with both hands. Using the sword as an anchor, he tried to keep himself from being pulled into the black hole.

But the pressure was enormous.

The ground surrounding his sword began crumbling, and the blade slowly shifted inside the earth.

Kil Ful’s arms trembled.

I can’t hold on much longer!

He pushed more energy into his body, trying to resist the pull. For a moment, he managed to stop himself from moving.

Then the ground beneath his feet broke apart.

His sword slipped free.

"Damn it!"

Kil Ful was dragged into the air, his body moving helplessly toward the black hole. He twisted around, trying to find something to grab, but there was nothing left.

He was about to be pulled into its centre when a chain suddenly shot through the air.

"KIL FUL!"

Seema stood on the edge of the battlefield, her arm extended. Her energy covered the chain as she threw it toward him.

The chain wrapped securely around Kil Ful’s body.

Seema pulled with all her strength.

"Come back!"

Kil Ful was dragged away from the black hole, flying back toward the battlefield. He landed hard on the ground and rolled several times before stopping.

He coughed, then pushed himself upright.

For a moment, he looked at Seema.

"Thanks..."

Seema nodded quickly.

"Don’t thank me yet. We’re still in the middle of a battle!"

Juyew looked at her, his expression turning cold.

"You again."

He lowered his hand.

The black hole vanished, and the crushing pressure disappeared from the battlefield.

Juyew turned toward Seema.

"I suppose I’ll have to deal with you as well."

He suddenly disappeared.

Seema’s eyes widened as Juyew appeared directly in front of her. He launched a strike toward her, but she twisted aside at the last moment. His attack missed her and struck the ground, sending fragments of stone flying around them.

Seema jumped backward, pulling her chain toward herself.

Juyew smiled coldly.

"Good reflexes."

He turned away from her and looked toward Kil Ful.

"But you’re not the one I came here to fight."

Void Continuous Slam

Juyew lifted both hands.

"VOID CONTINUOUS SLAM!"

The atmosphere above Kil Ful distorted.

An enormous invisible pressure crashed down upon him.

The ground beneath his feet shattered as the force drove him downward. Kil Ful bent his knees and crossed his arms, trying to endure the crushing pressure.

Before he could recover, another wave struck.

Then another.

Each impact was stronger than the last, forcing him lower and lower. His knees nearly touched the ground, and his arms shook under the strain.

"GHHH!"

Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

Juyew watched him without moving.

"Stay down. You have already done enough."

Kil Ful’s head lowered, and for a moment, it seemed as though he could no longer resist.

Then he began to laugh.

At first, it was quiet.

Then he slowly raised his head.

"I’m..."

He pushed himself upright.

"NOT..."

His muscles trembled as he fought against the invisible pressure.

"LOSING!"

He forced one foot forward, then the other. The ground beneath him cracked even further, but he continued standing.

Juyew’s eyes narrowed.

Kil Ful raised his face, his expression filled with determination.

"I didn’t come here to lose."

Juyew stared at him for a moment.

Then he burst into laughter.

"HAHAHAHA!"

He lowered his hands, and the pressure briefly weakened.

"You really are something else, Kil Ful!"

Before Kil Ful could respond, Juyew moved forward and delivered a powerful kick to his chest.

The impact sent Kil Ful flying backward.

He struck the ground, slid across the broken earth, and finally stopped near the edge of the crater.

For several seconds, he remained still.

Then his fingers moved.

Kil Ful slowly pushed himself onto one knee before standing again. His chest hurt, his breathing was uneven, and his remaining White Aura flickered around him.

But he was still standing.

Juyew tilted his head.

"You refuse to stay down."

Kil Ful wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.

"Get used to it."

Juyew smiled.

"Very well."

He turned toward Seema.

"You girl. I want to fight you too."

Seema tightened her grip on her chain.

"Gladly."

She stepped forward, placing herself between Juyew and the others.

"But don’t expect me to make this easy for you."

Seema’s Power — Roller Spin

Seema raised her sword.

Unlike an ordinary sword, its blade could extend far beyond its normal length, twisting and moving through the air like a snake. The weapon was designed to attack opponents from unexpected angles, making it difficult to predict where the next strike would come from.

But her sword was only one part of her power.

Seema’s greatest ability was Luck Manipulation.

She called it Roller Spin.

A circular symbol appeared beside her, spinning rapidly as different numbers and markings flashed across its surface.

Juyew watched with interest.

"What is that supposed to do?"

Seema gave him a confident smile.

"Why don’t you find out?"

She activated Roller Spin.

The circle spun faster and faster, its markings blurring into a ring of light. Seema watched the result carefully, waiting for the spin to stop.

Her ability had several possible outcomes.

- 25% Luck: All her combat stats increased by 10%.

- 50% Luck: All her combat stats increased by 20%.

- 75% Luck: All her combat stats increased by 30%.

- 100% Luck: All her combat stats increased by 35%.

- Jackpot: Her combat stats increased by an extraordinary 55%.

The jackpot was her rarest result, capable of turning the course of a battle in an instant.

However, Seema could not simply choose whichever result she wanted. She had to spin the Roller and accept the outcome.

The circle continued rotating.

Juyew crossed his arms.

"Your power depends on luck?"

Seema kept her eyes on the spinning symbol.

"Not just luck. What matters is what I do with it."

The circle began slowing.

Its markings flashed across Seema’s face as the final moments of the spin approached.

She held her breath.

The Roller stopped.

Seema looked at the result, and her expression changed.

Juyew noticed immediately.

"Oh?"

Seema tightened her grip on her sword.

"Let’s begin."

She dashed forward, and her sword suddenly extended. The blade curved through the air toward Juyew’s shoulder, moving like a striking snake.

Juyew leaned aside.

But Seema had already changed the sword’s direction. Its extended blade curved around him, forcing him to move again.

She pulled the weapon back and attacked from another angle.

Juyew blocked the strike, but Seema used the momentum to spin around and launch a sweeping attack at his legs.

He jumped backward.

For the first time, he had to pay close attention to an opponent other than Kil Ful.

Seema landed lightly on the ground.

"That’s only my sword."

She raised her free hand.

"Now let me show you BLOSSOM."

Blossom — The Ten Roses

Seema’s sword began glowing.

Ten rose-shaped flowers emerged around the blade, each one formed from concentrated energy. They floated briefly in the air, beautiful and delicate despite the dangerous power hidden within them.

Juyew watched the flowers carefully.

Seema swung her sword.

The ten roses launched toward him.

Before reaching their target, each flower broke apart into numerous tiny projectiles. Those projectiles then fragmented into even smaller particles, spreading across the surrounding space.

The particles rushed forward, destroying everything in their path.

The ground was cut apart.

Fragments of stone disappeared beneath the attack, and the space around Juyew filled with countless tiny points of destructive energy.

Juyew’s expression became serious.

He immediately moved away from the incoming attack, avoiding the densest part of the particle storm. Even so, several particles tore through the edge of his damaged clothing before he escaped their path.

Seema drew her sword back, watching him carefully.

"Those particles won’t stop just because you block one part of the attack."

Juyew glanced at the damaged fabric.

Then he looked back at her.

"Interesting."

His smile returned, but there was no amusement in his eyes.

"Your ability is more troublesome than I expected."

Seema adjusted her stance.

"And you haven’t seen everything."

Bek Versus Morry and Ravian

On the other side of the enormous crater, Bek stood facing Morry and Ravian.

The blast from Kil Ful’s Fist of Light had left the surrounding ground severely damaged. Morry’s Eternal Bond had helped him endure the impact, but his body was still aching. Ravian had protected Seema by manipulating the force acting upon her, and maintaining that control had also placed a strain on him.

Bek examined both opponents.

"So, I’m fighting two people at once."

Morry raised his fists.

"Looks like it."

Ravian stood beside him.

"Don’t underestimate him. Juyew trusted him to handle us, so he must have something dangerous."

Bek gave a small laugh.

"You’re right about that."

He reached toward his weapon and revealed a collection of thin, sharp needles secured within it.

Morry narrowed his eyes.

"Needles?"

Bek held one between his fingers.

"My ability revolves around needles. I can use them in different ways, and I can coat them with various substances to change their effects."

He turned the needle slightly, allowing it to catch the light.

"Poison is one possibility. There are others, too."

Ravian’s expression hardened.

"So we have to avoid getting hit."

"Exactly," Bek replied.

He placed the needle back into his weapon and reached for another.

"Because once one of my needles reaches you, the battle might become much more difficult."

Morry activated Eternal Bond.

His skin hardened, giving him a metallic appearance.

"Then I won’t let your needles reach us."

Ravian raised his hand, preparing to manipulate the forces around Bek.

Bek smiled beneath his hood.

"Good. I was hoping you would put up a fight."

He suddenly moved.

A needle flashed through the air toward Morry.

Morry shifted his body to avoid it, but Bek was already preparing another attack. Several more needles appeared between his fingers, each aimed at a different part of the battlefield.

Ravian reacted immediately, changing the forces acting on the projectiles and disturbing their trajectories.

The needles veered away from their original paths.

Bek landed several metres away and looked at Ravian with renewed interest.

"Force manipulation. And a body that can harden like steel."

He reached for his weapon again.

"This should be entertaining."

Morry and Ravian exchanged a quick glance.

They understood that Bek’s abilities were more complicated than they had first appeared. One mistake could allow a poisoned needle to reach them, and neither of them knew exactly what other substances Bek might use.

Across the battlefield, Seema continued facing Juyew while Kil Ful struggled to remain standing after the attacks he had endured.

The team had been divided into two fights.

Kil Ful’s anger had brought them into a battle they had been ordered to avoid, and Gyro had still not arrived.

Juyew’s full power had finally begun to emerge.

Seema’s Roller Spin had entered the battle.

And Bek was preparing to reveal more of his needle-based abilities.

The crater had become the stage for a confrontation that would test every member of the team.

The ultimate battle was about to begin.
