Xi He looked at Xuan Nv. At this moment, because Xuan Nv had been interrupted by her while performing a kind of sacrificial Array, she was already in a state of collapse, and Xi He even seemed a little disappointed facing her.

By the end, Xuan Nv spat out a mouthful of blood; clearly she had taken no light injury in the fight just now.

“Heh heh.” Xi He shook her head, looking rather helpless. “I’ve figured it out now. Xuan Nv, oh Xuan Nv, you’ve already become obsessed to an extreme in many things. I thought I could use a few words to dissuade you, but that’s basically useless now. So I can only come and stop you. You clearly could have saved Nu Ying, yet you deliberately let her be taken hostage by Xuan Nv. That way you can wash your hands of it and later tell Ye Fan that you tried, but had to compromise because Xuan Nv was threatening you?”

“Say whatever you like, the innocent are self-evident. I truly didn’t expect Xuan Nv to take Nu Ying hostage.” Xi He seemed genuinely surprised.

Now Xuan Nv finally seemed to gain some confidence. She said, “This doesn’t count as extortion. I’m merely taking someone who’s useful to me. But if you continue to pursue me, I’ll have her die. Then we’ll see how you explain that to Ye Fan.”

Lei Zu glared at Xuan Nv. “And you say this isn’t extortion? What you’re saying now is no different from farting!”

Xuan Nv took Nu Ying and vanished from the spot in an instant.

Xi He showed no intention of pursuing, and was even completely unconcerned about Nu Ying’s situation. Lei Zu said, “You’re just going to let her go like that?”

“Did you kill Pan Gu?” Xuan Nv asked sharply. “Where is Pan Gu? Your battle with Pan Gu is already known; you don’t need to hide anything!”

“Hahaha, and do I have any need to explain the situation to you? Little Xuan Nv, it seems you’re just as arrogant as ever. But that’s fine—the very power you possess is the one I need!” Nuwa’s avatar stretched out her hand, and Xuan Nv instantly felt her own power pouring outward.
