Invincible Snake Emperor
Chapter 800: Super Ultimate Moves Are Simply Effortless
Chapter 800 -730: Super Ultimate Moves Are Simply Effortless
The Artifact Spirit frowned, its eyes narrowing slightly. For some reason, an instinctive sense of crisis washed over it. It didn’t even know where this sense of crisis was coming from. The snake was also smiling, and that smile made it feel that something was wrong.
It wondered why he was smiling. This was the relic. The relic was the spirit, and the spirit was the relic. It was safe to say that even if a God descended here, it would be useless. It was invincible. The only exception had been its master, but its master was dead.
“Let me show you the true methods of this great Artifact Spirit!”
The demonic figure spread its arms and levitated into the air. Suddenly, the magnificent hall faded into nothingness, leaving a vast, blinding whiteness in its wake. An earth-shattering, brutal force swept out with unbridled ferocity.
Tu Xiao’an remained composed, completely ignoring the shifting surroundings. He continued with a smile, “I have a special skill. As long as I unleash it on my opponent, they become my War Servant, forced to obey my commands for the rest of their lives. I’m preparing to use this skill on you right now.”
“Hmph, are you just talking a big game, snake?”
If the Artifact Spirit believed such idiotic words, it might as well have been born yesterday. As the Artifact Spirit of this relic, it was in no way inferior to a Rank Four Divine Spirit.
“You’ll know soon enough whether I’m bluffing or not,” Tu Xiao’an said as he also levitated. His hair whipped in the wind, his picturesque features set in determination. Locking his Consciousness Suppression onto the Artifact Spirit, he commanded in a resonant voice, “Submit unconditionally!”
“Absolutely ridiculous! Utterly laughable!” The Artifact Spirit laughed uproariously, thoroughly amused by Tu Xiao’an.
Suddenly, an intense pillar of light appeared above the Artifact Spirit’s head, shrouding it and blocking out the sky.
That sense of crisis intensified rapidly, evolving far beyond a mere premonition. The Artifact Spirit’s heart trembled inexplicably. A terrifying pressure made it feel as though it were walking on thin ice, followed immediately by an inexplicably powerful suction that dragged at its body.
The next moment, the Artifact Spirit saw a radiant, blinding Bottomless Pit manifest above its head. The ensuing suction force violently pulled it toward the abyss.
It wondered what was happening and what kind of power this was. It actually gave it the illusion of being powerless to resist! This was the relic, the War Relics—its territory. Aside from its deceased master, the Ancient God, it was an invincible existence here.
The Artifact Spirit’s face gradually twisted into a hideous grimace as its body was dragged involuntarily toward the blinding Bottomless Pit.
“This isn’t your power! Do you have a helper?”
The Artifact Spirit howled frantically. The power bearing down from above was somehow even more terrifying than a Rank Four Divine Spirit. Faintly, it felt as if it were facing its former master. A profound sense of powerlessness welled up within it.
“Artifact Spirit, don’t struggle, and don’t resist. It’s all futile,” Tu Xiao’an said. “Once you are subjected to the Devouring of the Bottomless Pit, then congratulations—this Snake Emperor will become your new master.”
“Nonsense! Such arrogant drivel! A mere snake that hasn’t even undergone Ascension wants to be the master of this great Artifact Spirit? You’re not even fit to shine my shoes!”
An unparalleled surge of power erupted from the Artifact Spirit, causing the entire War Relics to shake violently.
Outside the relic, the entirety of Skeleton Mountain underwent an earth-shattering upheaval, looking as though the thirty-thousand-meter-tall peak might collapse at any moment. The monsters dwelling within the mountain groveled on the ground in abject terror.
“What’s happening? Skeleton Mountain is experiencing another Anomaly!”
In X City, countless Martial Cultivators stared in horror at the fog-shrouded Skeleton Mountain. The roars of countless monsters echoed from within, accompanied by massive boulders tumbling down the slopes. The ground on many of the city’s streets split open, a terrifying sight akin to a catastrophic earthquake.
“You think you can swallow me? In this relic, I am the king! I am the one who controls everything!”
Channeling the power of the entire relic, the Artifact Spirit desperately resisted the Devouring force from the Bottomless Pit above.
However, standing in the distance, Tu Xiao’an remained incredibly calm and unfazed. He absolutely adored this unconditional System ability with a fiery passion, knowing exactly how devastating this Skill truly was. It was his ultimate trump card. No matter how overwhelmingly powerful an opponent might be, they would obediently bow their heads and become his underling.
Back when he was nothing more than a Rank Two Snake Spirit, he had successfully subjugated Wu Tianyi, the director of the Wencheng Demon Management Bureau. It was all thanks to this overpowered Skill.
Unfortunately, the System rarely granted uses of this Skill. Otherwise, whenever Tu Xiao’an encountered a troublesome opponent, he could just hit them with an unconditional subjugation. How easy would that be? It would be a total breeze.
The Artifact Spirit’s expression had twisted into one of utter, frantic madness. It was already dangerously close to the Bottomless Pit. Panic began to set in. It wondered just what kind of omnipotent power this was.
“Let’s talk,” the Artifact Spirit said, finally forced to admit that it had been severely underestimating its opponent. It simply couldn’t resist this mysterious force.
“Talk?” Tu Xiao’an smirked, seeing the entity concede defeat, and gently shook his head.
He felt there was nothing to discuss. Once it was subjected to the Devouring, its identity as his Battle Companion would be cemented. What was there to talk about with his own Battle Companion? He would just point, and it would attack.
“No, let’s sit down and talk! I can let you out! I can even give you unimaginable benefits!”
The Artifact Spirit was barely a meter away from the blinding Bottomless Pit. It could acutely feel a majestic power emanating from within—a power seemingly capable of crushing it into dust.
Terrifying. It was absolutely terrifying. The Artifact Spirit fought the suction with all its might, trying desperately to stabilize its body. The power surging around it was enough to split mountains and shatter boulders, yet it remained entirely incapable of breaking free from the suction’s grip.
As the Artifact Spirit of the War Relics, it used to possess absolute, god-like control over this place. But now, it had completely lost autonomy over its own body. Gasping for air and erupting with terrifying power, its eyes flashing with intense light, it squeezed out every last ounce of its strength.
But it was getting closer. Closer and closer. The Bottomless Pit before it was like an abyss; once swallowed, it would be doomed eternally.
The Artifact Spirit felt like it was going mad. What was happening? This sudden twist in the situation left it completely bewildered. It was supposed to be the butcher, so how had it suddenly become the meat on someone else’s chopping block?
It was about to be swallowed. Unable to control its body, it could only watch helplessly as it “voluntarily” entered the Bottomless Pit.
Watching the Bottomless Pit about to consume the Artifact Spirit, Tu Xiao’an’s demonic eyes sparkled with barely concealed excitement. This was the second time he had witnessed such a pleasing sight. It felt fantastic. Successfully subjugating the Artifact Spirit of a relic meant gaining ownership of this relic’s independent dimension.
It was an astronomical windfall. The cave dwelling of an Ancient Demon from Ancient Times would soon belong to him, Tu Xiao’an. A single Skill was all it took to completely turn the tables and make him the master. Ah, he really loved this Skill.
Suddenly, the entire clearing was flooded with brilliant light. Tu Xiao’an watched in excitement as the terrified Artifact Spirit was swallowed whole by the Bottomless Pit, vanishing without a trace.
From beginning to end, despite all of its bizarre Cultivation methods, the Artifact Spirit had been unable to put up any real resistance. Even with the power of the entire relic at its disposal, it could not defy the System Power.
“DING… Congratulations to the host for successfully subjugating the Artifact Spirit of a supernatural life system relic. Because this was an unconditional subjugation, no rewards will be granted this time.”
The system’s voice quickly echoed in Tu Xiao’an’s mind. He rejoiced, knowing he had succeeded. As expected, it was just that easy and effortless.
Originally, Tu Xiao’an had intended to save this trump card Skill for as long as possible. But who could have known that this War Relics would be so treacherous, or that an Artifact Spirit was the one pulling the strings? Furthermore, this Artifact Spirit possessed the Power of Laws, rendering Tu Xiao’an’s Elemental Power completely useless.
Fighting it outright was out of the question, and even attempting to do so would have been far too exhausting. This way, it was a perfect win-win.
