Invincibility Begins with Mastery of Fist Techniques
Chapter 734 - 727: Chaotic Paradise
Chapter 734: Chapter 727: Chaotic Paradise
After sorting through his complicated feelings and composing himself, Lono decided to stop dwelling on the matter. He would maintain a professional demeanor and treat Zhou Yuanjue like any other candidate.
"We’ll be arriving at the Primordial Star True Land, home of the Primordial Star Organization, in about half a month. Would you like some intel beforehand?"
Lono asked Zhou Yuanjue with a smile.
Zhou Yuanjue gave a slight nod.
"Many outsiders believe that joining the Primordial Star Organization is a rare honor. They think it’s like opening a grand path to the upper echelons of civilization, that the Primordial Star Organization is some kind of paradise."
"But in reality, that’s a misconception. Even for candidates, who don’t have to face the most dangerous missions the Alliance dispatches, life there is anything but easy."
"The entire Primordial Star True Land is divided into five tiers, like a massive staircase. Countless candidates are confined to the first and lowest tier. It’s a vast continent where all the candidates gathered from the entire East Thirteen Districts converge."
"And most importantly, on this continent, aside from a few fundamental Laws established by the higher-ups that cannot be defied, there are no ’administrators’ whatsoever," Lono said slowly.
"Oh?"
Hearing this, Zhou Yuanjue raised an eyebrow, a flicker of realization in his eyes.
"The absence of administrators means every individual candidate there has the potential to become one."
"The strong rule the weak, command them, and enjoy the continent’s finest resources. They can do anything that isn’t forbidden by those few limited Laws, exercising the most primitive right of the powerful."
"As for the weak, they can only be bullied. If they can’t grow stronger through humiliation, they will be broken by it—not physically, but spiritually."
"They’ll give up on increasing their Transformation Level and choose to complete their evolution just to escape the continent. But beings like that are often very weak. Even after becoming Type One, they face an extremely high chance of death in the compulsory missions they might receive on the next tier."
"So, for all of you, this is a tremendous opportunity, but also an immense challenge. You could even call it perilous."
"After all, for most of you, the power of the true geniuses in this corner of the galaxy is simply unimaginable."
"That’s why, within the Primordial Star Organization, the continent where the candidates reside is also known as the ’Chaotic Paradise’," Lono said slowly.
"Chaotic Paradise..."
Zhou Yuanjue murmured to himself. He truly hadn’t expected the candidates’ zone within the Primordial Star Organization to be like this.
’All the candidates on a single continent, bound by only a few limited Laws, with no administrators, left to govern themselves.’
’There are no rules. The strong decide everything—they build organizations, establish order, and enjoy the best resources on the continent. The weak, on the other hand, can be marginalized so badly that their will to pursue Cultivation is completely shattered, all just to escape that place.’
He knew what that meant.
It was a place that probably revered the true law of the jungle, a concept seemingly at odds with the order of a High-level Civilization.
But perhaps, this was the only way to forge true experts.
And that, it seemed, was exactly the kind of place he yearned for.
"So, what do you think? A bit surprising, isn’t it? Throughout the entire East Thirteen Districts, only our Primordial Star Organization has the power to create a continent like this," Lono said with a smile.
"It has certainly raised my expectations. It sounds like an interesting place."
Zhou Yuanjue nodded slightly. It was only now that he felt joining the Primordial Star Organization might have been a good idea after all.
...
...
「Half a month flew by.」
「Primordial Star True Land.」
Unlike other True Lands, the Primordial Star True Land was clearly man-made.
From a distance, the True Land resembled a cone, wide at its base and tapering toward the top.
The entire Primordial Star True Land was divided into five tiers, like a massive staircase. These tiers were connected by an unknown, pillar-like structure that reached for the heavens, a sight both strange and spectacular.
Each tier had a clear hierarchical distinction. The bottommost tier, an area roughly half the size of the Gena Continent, was where the candidates resided.
This was the "Chaotic Paradise" Lono had spoken of.
It was hard to imagine just how many candidates existed in this region.
But it made sense. The East Thirteen Districts were immeasurably vast, home to countless life forms. Even if the Primordial Star Organization recruited an enormous number of candidates, compared to the sheer scale of the total population, they were still precious and few.
After arriving at the Primordial Star True Land, Zhou Yuanjue’s special treatment ended. Once Lono completed his handover, all the candidates from the Aircraft Carrier were led to an exceptionally vast plaza.
VMMMM!!
Suddenly, pillars of azure light descended from the sky, enveloping each candidate individually. Countless rays of light scanned Zhou Yuanjue’s body.
"Candidate Zhou Yuanjue. Identity confirmed."
"Now generating identity number and ’Life True Talisman’..."
"Generation complete..."
"Please integrate the Life True Talisman into your life’s essence."
"Procedure complete. Teleportation will now commence."
An androgynous voice echoed in Zhou Yuanjue’s mind. He then saw a multitude of golden, chain-like Runes surge forth within the pillar of light. These golden Runes intertwined and coalesced, forming a circuit-like structure in the empty air that resembled a paper talisman.
’So this is the Life True Talisman?’
Zhou Yuanjue thought to himself as he watched the Talisman float down from thin air.
He recalled Lono mentioning that the Life True Talisman was created using a miraculous Rune Ability originating from the Black Seal Civilization. Every candidate who entered the Chaotic Paradise had to integrate their own personal Life True Talisman into their life’s essence.
This integration wasn’t a fusion and wouldn’t affect the host’s life essence. In fact, the host could remove it at any time if they so wished.
But in the Chaotic Paradise, no candidate would ever do so.
This was because the True Talisman was not just an Identity Card; it also integrated many crucial functions, such as recording and spending Value Points, tracking Points, and querying Data. Most importantly, it was through this Life True Talisman that the few limited Laws of the Chaotic Paradise were enforced.
The most important of these was the Life Protection Law.
The Life True Talisman possessed an extremely powerful detection ability. When it detected that the host was about to die from an external force, or that an impending external force would be fatal, the protection Law within the True Talisman would trigger. It would instantly and automatically generate a Guardian Force Field that surpassed the power level of a candidate, thus protecting their life.
Of course, a candidate also had to pay a price for triggering the Life Protection Mechanism.
For instance, they would be immobilized for seven days and could also suffer a loss of some of their Points and Value Points.
Zhou Yuanjue reached out and touched the Life True Talisman before him, channeling the Power of his life’s essence in an attempt to absorb it.
Spurred by his will, the Life True Talisman rapidly began to break down. The countless golden Rune Chains that formed the True Talisman surged violently into his body.
And then.
VMMMM!!
A tremendous pulling force washed over him. The integration of the Life True Talisman was complete, and the teleportation was about to begin.
Destination: A random safe zone on the Primordial Star True Land.
