"Enzo, do you also have a beautiful younger sister? Or is this young woman your cousin?" Miya suddenly asked.

She turned her gaze toward the blonde young woman.

Even Eva, who was focused on driving, couldn’t help glancing in her direction.

If the young woman had an ordinary appearance, neither of them might have cared. However, Enzo had to admit that she was beautiful and captivating. She met every standard for being the leading lady in a movie.

"Umm, no..." Enzo replied with a slight cough, worried that Miya might misunderstand.

"She seems to be a friend of my younger brother," he said.

He knew that was the truth, and it was all he could say.

"Your younger brother seems quite romantic... This woman isn’t an ordinary person," Miya remarked.

"Not an ordinary person?" Enzo furrowed his brows upon hearing that.

Miya had extremely high standards. She wouldn’t say something like that carelessly.

Perhaps among the younger generation in City Z, only Eva, who came from the Solace Family, qualified as someone extraordinary in her eyes. Everyone else would be considered ordinary, even if they themselves took pride in their backgrounds.

Miya said nothing more, and the car finally arrived in front of the porch.

Of course, the blonde woman stood up from the swing, curiously observing the approaching car.

She then appeared to type something on her phone.

Enzo furrowed his brows again.

His father and mother didn’t seem to be home.

Had they gone out?

Unfortunately, he hadn’t contacted them before coming over.

Yes, they were probably away. Otherwise, there was no way his younger brother, Evan Muller, would have brought a girl home.

Then where was the young man now?

Once the car stopped, Eva immediately got out to open the doors for Miya and Enzo.

Miya stepped out of the car and took a deep breath of fresh air.

The moment the blonde young woman saw her, her eyes widened in disbelief.

A second later, she suddenly became excited and started running toward the porch.

"Lady Stanley," she greeted enthusiastically.

"Lady Stanley, I’m so happy to meet you here. Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Emily Este, Evan Muller’s girlfriend, your younger brother-in-law. That means you could also consider me your sister-in-law."

Her gaze shifted to Enzo afterward.

"It’s a pleasure to meet you, brother-in-law... Thanks to you, I can become the respected sister-in-law of Lady Stanley. I will definitely remain loyal to your younger brother forever, no matter what mistakes he makes."

Enzo: "..."

"Girl, are you Otto’s daughter?" Miya asked.

"You’re right, Lady." The blonde woman nodded gracefully.

Otto. Este.

Wasn’t Otto Este the head of the Este Family, one of the Major Families based in Mexico?

That region had long since become part of the United States because the family couldn’t survive without American military assistance.

Of course, it was the southernmost region of the American continent inhabited by humans at present.

How could a girl from there appear in City Z and even start dating his younger brother?

The Este Family was said to have the worst reputation among the Ten Major Families.

They had originally been a drug cartel and had made their fortune early on.

Even now, they were probably still selling drugs.

It was entirely possible that the drugs Enzo had burned belonged to them as well.

Without a doubt, they were a scourge. However, like it or not, they still ranked among the top five, even among the Ten Major Families.

"So, did you deliberately come to this city for this?" Miya asked again.

"Not entirely. I’ve been in this city for a year now, and I’ve even been living in this residential complex with my grandmother. Evan and I attend the same school, and we’ve known each other for a long time. You were the final push that made me accept Evan. But honestly, I had no specific plan. I’m also genuinely happy with Evan, even though my main motivation was indeed to become your sister-in-law. My father is also pleased with my decision."

"You’re certainly straightforward," Miya remarked.

"Honesty makes everything easier. I’m always honest with everyone."

"Did you tell Evan this too?" Enzo asked.

"Of course, brother-in-law. I don’t believe in keeping secrets between us that might make our relationship uncomfortable."

Enzo’s lips twitched upon hearing that.

His younger brother really had no pride.

Or perhaps it would be more accurate to say that he simply didn’t care about pride.

In the face of money, pride could be discarded. The same applied when faced with a beautiful woman who could give you everything.

Even Enzo himself had taken that path when he chose to be with Miya.

In other words, he couldn’t criticize his younger brother. The latter could just as easily criticize him in return.

"Brother-in-law, you don’t have any objections to our relationship, do you?" Emily Este asked in a gentle, pleasant voice.

Enzo could only roll his eyes upon hearing that.

"Your father isn’t handsome at all, yet you’re so beautiful. Are you sure you’re really his daughter?" Miya suddenly asked Emily.

Even the others who heard this felt awkward. However, the young woman merely chuckled softly.

"My mother is very beautiful. I didn’t inherit any of my father’s features, but we did a DNA test, and the results matched, of course. Otherwise, even my father would have had doubts." She answered casually.

Vroom!

At that moment, the loud roar of an engine echoed from outside the courtyard.

It came from a large Ninja motorcycle ridden by a white-haired young man who wasn’t even wearing a helmet.

Who else could it be but Evan? He looked rushed and panicked.

Enzo furrowed his brows once again, realizing that this was an extremely expensive motorcycle. It must have cost a fortune.

Evan certainly wouldn’t have had enough money to buy it.

He glanced at Emily, who was smiling brightly at the sight of the young man.

However, Evan couldn’t hide his awkwardness.

His eyes could only fill with awe and apprehension when he saw Miya, whom he was meeting in person for the first time.

Evan quickly got off his motorcycle, realizing that it wasn’t appropriate for him to remain seated while everyone else on the porch was standing.

"Bro..." He looked at Enzo as though he wanted to explain something.

His back was completely straight because of how awkward he felt.

"So, you’re my younger brother-in-law. I have to say, you’re even more unruly than Enzo. I’m Miya Stanley. Remember to call me big sister from now on." Miya suddenly spoke with a smile, extending her hand toward Evan for a handshake.

Evan’s head pulled back slightly, and his hand trembled.

Even though he knew this woman was his older brother’s wife, her reputation still made him nervous about shaking her hand.

He still wasn’t sure whether he was happy or unhappy with what Evan had done.

He knew better than anyone that his girlfriend must have said all sorts of outrageous things, since she was such a straightforward person.

"What’s wrong with you? You don’t want to shake your sister-in-law’s hand?" Enzo asked, patting the young man’s waist.

"How could that be..." Evan replied before immediately shaking Miya’s hand.

"It’s a pleasure to meet you, big sister. I’m Evan Muller," he said in a soft voice.

"Evan, where are Dad and Mom?" Enzo asked.

He assumed that, so far, Miya was merely amused by Evan’s decision to bring his girlfriend home.

She shouldn’t be angry.

"Dad and Mom went to the mall to shop. They probably won’t be back until tonight," Evan replied.

"Bro, I’ll call them."

"No need..." Miya suddenly pushed Evan’s hand back down just as he raised his phone.

"Let them continue shopping. We’ll just wait here. I’m sure this is the first time they’ve gone on a date at the mall," she said with a faint smile.

"Honey, let’s just wait," she added, turning to Enzo.

Evan almost instinctively reached for his ear when he heard Miya’s affectionate way of addressing his older brother.

Enzo nodded slightly, then winked at Evan, signaling him to leave.

Of course, Evan couldn’t possibly feel at ease staying in the house now.

He looked at Emily.

"Let’s go outside," he said.

"Sure..." Emily didn’t refuse either.

"See you later, brother and sister-in-law," she said to Enzo and Miya.

She followed Evan to his motorcycle and climbed onto the back seat behind him.

Even with them standing right in front of her, she didn’t hesitate at all to wrap her arms around Evan from behind.

Vroom!

The motorcycle immediately sped away.

"Let’s go inside," Enzo said to Miya.

"Yeah..." The woman followed him, signaling Eva to return to the car.

"You’re not angry, are you?" Enzo asked Miya.

He still needed to make sure.

If something was bothering her, he would deal with it first.

However, his question only made Miya laugh.

"Why would you think I’m angry? High school students have always been like this, haven’t they? Not just nowadays, but even in my era, and even in my grandfather’s era. They say those are the most beautiful years of one’s life. You’re the one who missed out on that beauty because you were too focused on training," she said.

Enzo rolled his eyes upon hearing that.

"Didn’t you miss out on it too? You even started much later than I did."
