"Lady Stanley’s power?"

Everyone who heard that was stunned, including Oliver.

Their gazes shifted back to Miya.

The Vice President and the Governor looked at her with questioning expressions.

"Lady Stanley, could you explain this?" the Governor asked.

"It seems I’ve made everyone curious..." Miya chuckled softly once more.

"To put it simply, Cultivation Techniques have no limits when it comes to miracles. Anything is possible. This is just one example of what cultivation can achieve. After all, even a Cultivator’s corpse can lend its power to someone else. Naturally, a living Cultivator can do the same."

"But is it really permanent and free of side effects?" asked someone accompanying the Governor.

"Why are you so skeptical? If there were side effects, do you think I’d be willing to use it?" Gracie replied. "Hmph, I still value my own life."

"Something this miraculous actually exists?"

"It’s unbelievable! If that’s the case, then what’s the point of Mr. Oliver’s research? Lady Stanley can accomplish the same thing without such a complicated process."

Everyone began looking at Miya with hopeful expressions.

Enzo smiled wryly at the sight.

How could it possibly be that easy? If it were, everyone would have this kind of power.

The technique had no side effects when used on puppets, but Miya still had to use her consciousness to control them.

Her powerful consciousness allowed her to control numerous puppets simultaneously, but there was still a limit.

Of course, the technique she had learned might possess even greater capabilities at higher levels, such as eliminating side effects and restrictions. However, Enzo doubted that would be easy to achieve.

When he looked at Oliver again, he noticed that his expression had become rather unpleasant.

"Don’t assume that just anyone can obtain this power," Miya finally said.

"What are the requirements?" the Vice President asked.

He wasn’t foolish enough to believe there were no requirements.

Even Oliver’s method required more than just corpses.

"One gram of Bio Copper," Miya answered curtly. "If you have it, just come to me. Bring one billion dollars or an item of equivalent value, and I’ll turn you into a Giant. Don’t worry, there’s no minimum cultivation requirement."

"Bio Copper? What’s that?"

"I’ve never heard of it."

"It sounds like some kind of special copper."

"Is that what protects the body from the side effects of having power implanted into it?"

"That must be it."

"Wait, if that copper can do that, could Mr. Green’s method also overcome the fatal side effects of his technique?"

"Yes, it can..." Miya replied. "But to become a Giant, you must already have reached Level 4 as a Spiritual Warrior. You don’t meet that requirement. At best, you can only become a Level 4 to Level 6 Spiritual Warrior, depending on your luck. Most importantly, you don’t need any corpses. I’m sure you can see for yourselves which method is better."

"I admit your ability is superior, but my research is still progressing. One day, all these problems will be solved," Oliver finally said.

"As you continue your research, all you’ll discover is what I’ve already accomplished," Miya replied.

"That’s what you say. The world always offers many different paths, not just yours." Oliver naturally refused to accept Miya’s words, which practically made his research seem worthless.

"The world only offers this one shortcut. The thousands of theories you’ve come up with won’t work," Miya answered.

"You want me to stop my research. Miya, don’t think I’ll give up just because of your words. There is no absolute truth in this world." Oliver’s voice rose as he clenched his fists.

"Who do you think is right?"

"Lady Stanley must be right. She wouldn’t lie about something like this, and there’s no need to question her knowledge. She has mastered a Domain, which allows her to learn things directly from the world."

The Cultivators present began discussing among themselves.

The others were still uncertain about who was right, but the Cultivators already knew the truth.

Oliver’s face twitched.

"No need to beat him up anymore. He already looks like he’s about to cry, and I don’t want to see a grown man crying," Miya said to Enzo with a chuckle.

Enzo rolled his eyes.

Words like those were practically an outrageous insult, utterly humiliating someone’s dignity.

Naturally, no one else could protest on Oliver’s behalf.

"Ahem..." The Governor cleared his throat.

"Everyone, please enjoy the food we’ve prepared." He clapped his hands as he spoke, and dozens of waiters emerged from the kitchen corridor, carrying freshly roasted meat.

"Vice President, please..." He gestured for the Vice President to take a seat at one of the main tables.

It was also clear that the Governor’s enthusiasm toward Oliver had diminished considerably.

However, this was his birthday celebration. It wouldn’t do to let the arguments and fighting continue.

Unfortunately, things weren’t going to be as simple as he’d hoped.

"Torres, were you the one who tricked Dilan?" Luis shouted again.

As far as he was concerned, Oliver’s zombie army was still useful for threatening the Stanley Family.

"Why are you accusing me?" Gracie replied with a frown.

Deep in her eyes, however, she was actually feeling nervous.

She was worried that Luis might know about her affair with Dilan.

"Dilan, how did she trick you?" Luis asked.

His question immediately drew suspicious looks toward Gracie.

Her daughter, Eva, furrowed her brows.

Dilan also looked panicked when he was questioned about it.

Enzo also wore a strange expression, glancing at Eva and then at Miya.

Everything might be exposed if Luis interrogated Dilan.

Gracie was beginning to look uneasy.

She looked at Miya with a pleading expression, hoping for help. However, the woman wasn’t even looking at her.

She was sipping her wine while picking up a piece of cake with her fork and bringing it to Enzo’s mouth.

No one noticed, as everyone was focused on Gracie and Dilan.

Gracie realized that Miya didn’t care about her predicament.

After all, why would a boss care about a subordinate’s problems?

All she could do was hope that Dilan wouldn’t reveal the truth.

"Dilan, I’ll let you off the hook if you tell me what happened," Luis said again.
